9 Chapter 8: Fantasies

The early sun smiled at the dead town,

Lyr woke up and do some basic hygiene and eat,

"now let me try the feeling of breaking the limit" Lyr said as it was already late and tired that night so he can only did it now,

ordinary evolutionist when awaken has a body strength that is 3x or so stronger to that of ordinary person, some geniuses monster level when awaken have body strength that even reach 12 times that of ordinary person, so here we can see how poor Lyr's qualification,

"break it" he said to the bead,

a sound rang in his body and then Lyr felt like his body is like a balloon that was broken, and what correspond this is severe pain,

he bit his teeth tightly with pain and endure to not shout so he won't attract the zombies his veins bulging, his eyes are protruding and his muscles are contracting, this severe pain if it was in an ordinary person he was long been pass out but for Lyr whose willpower is so tenacious it was still bearable , the pain lasts about 2 minutes but for Lyr it felt like an eternity, he never knew that breaking a limit is that painful but the bead told him that only the first breaking have that severe pain.

but what comes after the pain is a very comfortable feeling, feeling the strength that feels that you can blow the earth with a punch but he knows that all this was just an illusion by the sudden increase in strength,

not to mention blowing a planet, he will be dead if he encounters a 'second order' beast but he was still satisfied with the overall enforcement in his strength, his strength now is double from his earlier self his body's strength is 6 times that of ordinary person,

standing and stretching, bones creaking and you can see that every muscle in him is more refined than earlier, his body is not too thin nor too robust, what makes him more happy is that in breaking the body limit in his body would never get robust like some body builders, its really good for him because he really don't want his body to be like that and lose some of his agility and mobility.

its almost noon when he go out of the room, he spent several hours to adapt to his new strength fortunately enough he has rich experience if it was someone else it would take a day or two to adapt but for him it only takes hours.

with his constant hunt of zombies yesterday night, there were only several zombies in the apartment and fortunately enough the gate of the apartment has never been broken yet so there is not much zombies now in the apartment, he can be sure that the number of zombies outside is much more, he lives in a town with a population of 100,000 or so even if we only say that only 50% of it were turned it was still an overwhelming amount of 50,000 and even now with his current strength he was not stupid enough to face thousands os zombies.

Lyr walk in the corridor checking every room to check some useful things, now that there was no need to stay here he needs to get as much supplies as he could.

one that also keeps getting on his mind is about the superpower, he was hesitating whether to use that dangerous way,

he can only shake his head about this, kicking the door open he unexpectedly hear a noise of whispering,

"please don't eat my brain, please don't eat my brain..." the whisper keep repeating the mantra earnestly and devotedly that even the buddha will bow in shame.

Lyr look around for the source and there he saw it, in the corner you can see a thin young man with glasses cowering and covering his head while constantly saying things in his mouth.

when he saw this Lyr was really surprised you must know that 80% of the population was mutated and the majority of this has become zombies, so when the end happened they were usually 50-100 person per town survive and became evolutionist. he was really surprise to find a living person in this apartment, he thought that only he survive in this apartment.

"hey you shut up!!!, okay" Lyr said to the glasses man, he was really irritated by the things that comes out of this guys mouth.

"!!??" the glasses was startled hearing this voice so he immediately look up only to see an irritated face of Lyr. " thank god Im not alone,Im not alone..." the glasses proceed with his mantra again with a tears and snot in his face.

"shut up!!" seeing this Lyr really want to punch that face only to stop when he saw the snot.

hearing this the glasses stop and stood up with excitement on his face

"what happened to the outside?, is it the end of the world? what the situation outside? is it....--"glasses asked a question with one breath that Lyr has to cut him off while massaging his temples.

"the monster outside is like a zombie in fantasy like the movies, I was really sacred that they would eat my brain" but the glasses didn't listen at all and was still talking Lyr was preparing to cut him off again but stop because..

"what did you say again"Lyr strangely suddenly ask the glasses, the glasses was puzzled but still answer

"the zombie will eat my brain?"glasses said

"no the other one" Lyr reply

"the monster outside is like the zombies in fantasy----" the glasses was preparing to finish but suddenly cut off by Lyr

"right fantasy, why didn't I think about that" Lyr said with excitement,

in his past life in the END as the time pass by and the earth changes every moment the people once thought about 'where did their powers come from it is only in the energy?' this question circulated and more and more scientist collectively research about this but they can't figure out anything but one day they saw a magical item similar to fantasies so they have a bold guess that 'what if all of this is from fantasies'

so they began madly researching again,t hey collect various information about different power system in movies, anime, and even novels but sadly there research bear no fruit, there is seem to have an insurmountable wall between fantasy and reality. So for countless trial and error they eventually give up this information is not secret at all so Lyr know it is not a strange thing.

'it have a wall but for me with the limit breaking bead, the boundary can be broken right' Lyr said in his heart with a hint of hope...
