7 Chapter 6: Cruel Truth

the outside now is a mess, you can hear screams of pleading from time to time,

Lyr putting all the supplies he could carry in his bag he then proceed to walk out, what greeted him is a disgusting mouth of a zombie, the zombie was quick but obviously Lyr is quicker,

even before the zombie reach him ,its head was already cut off, without batting an eye on it Lyr proceed to walk.

he plan to clean every zombies in the apartment in his eyes all of them is precious points,

kicking a door open he saw a little girl eating a blooded arm not far away is a scattered body of a man and a woman,

'sigh' seeing a supposedly happy family became like this, Lyr can only sigh by the cruelty of the world now,

with the sensitive ears of a zombie, it immediately notice Lyr, throwing the arm in her hand while pouncing at him.

slashing the knife again and without much of an effort the zombie girl was killed. Without looking at it he proceed to another room, he don't need any supplies now so he didn't need to Ramage the house.

a zombie man, a zombie woman, a zombie old man and even a zombie baby, along the way he meet variety of kind of zombies but all of it was killed without mercy, This is the reality so he won't be merciless to those who want his life as they say 'being merciful to your enemy is being cruel to yourself', this is the END so no need to be merciful, the past peace has long been broken, don't put an illusion to yourself that peace will eventually come because it doesn't unless human be strong enough to the point of pushing or defeating all monster,

but for now that they haven't what's important is personal strength, without strength protecting those who are important to you is impossible, monster and zombies are not the only enemy of humanity but humans themselves.

Now that the END happens , morality, values and law has long been broken so its not strange seeing a man raping a woman or a guy killing another guy, so what is needed the most now is strength the world we are now is eat or be eaten the weak can only bow their head in front of the strong.

killing the zombie in front of him, he now has a 9.8 Break points(energy points) only one 'first layer low' zombie he can finally break his body strength,

while cleaning the blooded knife with a cloth he suddenly felt a sense of crises on his back, without much thinking he quickly roll sideways but even then he still felt pain on his shoulder, making a distance from the attacker he saw a 3 claw mark wound on his shoulder.

seeing it his face became dignified and quicky look at the attacker, this wound is clearly not the work of a humanoid zombie, and sure enough what he saw in front is a cat smaller than normal cat with an ecstasy on its face while licking its paw, this scene is quite cute if not for the blood that its constantly licking.

seeing this cat the spirit of Lyr concentrated by a 100%,

mutated beast a kind of variation among the animals and what's most horrifying is that they retain the characteristic of the animal itself and even some will have some supernatural power, for example the cat in front of him, it is extremely quick obviously one of the characteristic of a cat, super agile.

but what made him sigh in relief because it was only a 'first layer mid' in strength so even if it has a supernatural power it can't played it unless it advance to 'first layer high' or 'second layer'.

but still he needed to put 100% of concentration when dealing with it cause we all know that beast itself is born with greater strength than human is.

taking a deep breath and without wasting time Lyr immediately dash and slashing his knife at the beast cat,

the cat dodge it without much effort with it agility, but Lyr is not done yet, he knew that he can never hit the variation cat with his current strength and speed.

a line of blood flew out but it's not enough to kill the beast cat, it even make's it more angrier, its red eyes is even more redder it dash with a very fast speed that even Lyr couldn't react in a short time but fortunately he has a 10 years of experience and has experience of many situation of life and death battles, at a critical moment he block his arm in front.
