5 Chapter 4: END, Origin?

~bang~

a loud sound of thunder was heard by all people in the world accompanied by an invisible wave of energy spread throughout the world, then everything went black.

lights, electronic gadgets, powerplants have all been cut of its power, panic is happening in the streets, screams rang everywhere.

Lyr suddenly feel a change in his body his bones creaking, his muscles are tightening, he feels comfortable its like the feeling in his past life, the feeling of having strength but much worse than that of his past. he stood up and stretch his body, his body is now full of streamed muscles contrary to his earlier thin body, he estimate it to be 3 time that of ordinary people.

Having more than 10 years of experience he quickly adapted to his new body.

Lyr rush to the window, its very dark outside but as his overall strength has improved seeing more than 50 meters in the dark is not a problem at all, the initial panic cause by the thunder also slowly calm down.

but Lyr still keeps looking below seemingly looking for something, and their he found his goal a 8 - 9 years old child in the arms of his mother is trembling while his mother keep calming the child down but it was no use, a couple of minutes the trembling stop and the child robotically move his head to his mother and then that happen the child was like a hungry beast biting the neck of his mom, blood spill everywhere but this does not only happen here,

Lyr can see same cases happening in the streets, an old man rushing to a woman like a mad dog, a woman biting another woman and he even saw a dog, a dog that is 3 times larger than ordinary dogs, the dog is enjoying a helpless man in a corner.

screams and pleading rang through the night, same cases is happening all over the world. USA, China, Africa, India , Philippines, and all over the world.

even some mysterious places in the world has reaction, like the Bermuda triangle known as a 'forbidden sea', the Amazon, and even the mount Everest but that's another story.

Lyr seeing this is quite calm, with his 10 years of experience he saw more horror than this. Lyr took a deep breath before pushing the door open.

Lyr rent an enclose apartment building so he expected that the monster he will encounter in are only some tenants in the apartment, looking around with a butcher knife at hand he saw a humanoid creature 80 meters away from him, the closer he was the clear he saw the creature face it was the drunken tenant that he often saw at night, but now looking at his horrible dead gray eyes and pale skin, Lyr can be sure that he was also turned. No time to loss Lyr rush immediately but the monster also saw him, it scream and dash towards him with it's disgusting mouth wide open, a cold light flash through the night a sound of heavy objects falling down.

Lyr holding a blooded knife and a head lying not far away from him, but strangely Lyr is seemingly in daze, fortunately there was no one around,

a couple of minutes Lyr wake up from his daze but you can see an excited expression in his face, he immediately return to his room, lock and blockade the door.

what makes him excited is because he now know the reason on why he was reborn, it was the white bead that was hanging on his neck on his past life, that bead was what he got when he was finding the way of revival, it is in one of the cave that he explore, when he saw this bead he was attracted to it so he hang it on his neck for 5 years.

as for why Lyr was in daze back there is because the bead that was in a dormant stage wakes up and pass a message to him spiritually, it turns out that the bead was adsorbing the energy around the air when the END happen, and it happen that the monster he kill has enough energy for it to wake up, monster or evolutionist has energy around their body but they can 't control it only when the evolutionist or monster be in the 'first layer high' can they try to compress the energy for it to form an energy crystal to advance the 'second layer'.

the bead also pass him its origin, and what he saw clearly astonished and shock him.

in a different planet,here live a super smart and magical ethnic race, that has wisdom that no any other race can compare and because of their crazy mind they came up with crazy idea 'what if they can make an artifact that can break any limit in the multi cosmic universe' so with that in mind they spent hundred thousand's of years, with sweat, blood and time to form this artifact they never gave up until one day this artifact was formed in front of countless race but the expectacle scene that was suppose to happen when an artifact is being born didn't happen, no cosmic storm, no heavenly retributions, no calamity this was suppose to happen to every artifact that is being formed,

and because of this there race has been the laughing stock for all races, and because the wisdom race thought that they had fail they keep this failure and humiliation to the very corner in their treasury, but what they didn't know was that the bead is not a failure at all but incomplete, what it lacks the most is energy so for hundred of thousands of years it absorb the energy around it and so long it was finally complete. When the bead completed its form the bead summon a terrifying scene, a cosmic storm large enough to cover the planet of the wisdom race and annihilated it and its people, from then on the disappearance of the wisdom race became one of the mystery in the entire multi cosmic universe .

as for the bead it was taken to somewhere by a space crack, and coincidentally the earth ushered in it's END, it directly falls in the earth but no one was alarmed of it and for years it just lay there until Lyr found it.

what Lyr didn't expect is the activation process,as smart as they are the wisdom race tried to activate the bead by dropping their blood on it but it didn't work, it turns out that the bead has its own principle 'since it was created by sweat and blood by countless wisdom race's ancestors it should be given the same sincerity right', so what it needs is the blood of the heart.

Lyr didn't know wether to laugh or cry, he even began to thank the man that put a knife in his heart, if not for him he will not given this chance to be reborn again.

and as for how he was reborn, it was when the bead activated, the thing he had wish the most was to be reborn again so it did, the bead used all its energy reserves to break through the boundary of life and death, time and space to bring him to this day but in turn Bringing him here emptied its reserve so it fall in dormant stage.

but what makes him excited is the use of this bead....(to be continued)
