Chapter 17 : Time to Leave Town Rast

People of Town Rast came back to their houses. They were very happy as Viola and his army were defeated. They thanked Ariel, Toya and Anna for freeing their town. They threw a party to celebrate their freedom. Ariel, Anna and Toya were enjoying the party too. Ariel sneaked out alone and headed for the place where Viola was tied. He went there and sat in front of Viola. Injured Viola was looking at Ariel with fierce eyes as he would kill Ariel anytime.

"Calm down Viola," Ariel said.

"Shut up. Why didn't you kill me?" Viola said.

"Killing you was not my plan. If Anna wanted to kill you, she would have done it already," Ariel said.

"That woman…." Viola said.

"You can do nothing by cursing her. So give up."

"..."

"How are you doing?"

"Come to the point."

"Ok. Tell me why did you close your eyes when striking Anna?"

"Is that your question?"

"Yes. Answer it."

"You know, every person has a weakness and so do I."

"Yeah I know that but that isn't the answer to my question."

"It is."

"How?"

"I didn't kill that woman because I am afraid of blood."

"I see. That is what makes you a king."

"Are you done?"

"Of course not."

"Proceed."

"What are you planning to do now?"

"What can I do with only one hand?"

"Many things."

"I am not interested in your 'many things'."

"Then what will you do?"

"I will probably be arrested by the Zuchs. My title will be gone. I will remain in jail for the rest of my life."

"That's sad."

"I don't need your pity."

"Ok then I will be going," Ariel said and got up. Turned around and started walking. But Viola stopped him.

"Wait…."

"What?"

"You should know that you will be hunted by the Zuchs now."

"I know that."

"Are you really willing to become the King of Kings?"

"Absolutely."

"I won't pray for you."

"I expected that."

"I see. Get lost then."

"Yeah."

Ariel left the place and started walking towards the place where the party was going. Everyone was dancing, singing, and eating. They all were doing different things but they had one common thing. It was the smile on their face. Ariel saw a newspaper on a table. He took it and opened it. He was shocked and excited after seeing the first page. He was smirking. Toya saw him and went to him.

"Ariel, why is your face like that?" Toya asked.

"Look at this."

"What is this?"

"Government has issued bounties on us."

"So I am worth fifty thousand gold coins."

"I am of ninety thousand gold coins and Anna is of forty eight thousand gold coins."

"The bounties will rise soon because we have defeated an Irexor."

"Correct."

"Also look at the headline, Ariel. It is written 'The Wind clan is back'."

"Things have become interesting."

Anna comes to Ariel and Toya alongside Ernam.

"Guys, sir Ernam has something to say to us," Anna said.

"Then let's go out," Ariel said.

Ariel, Anna, Toya and Ernam come out of the party. People didn't notice them as they were busy enjoying the party.

"So what do you want to say?" Toya said.

"It's regarding your journey," Ernam said.

"Please say whatever you want to say," Anna said.

"Sit down first. What I am going to say to you guys will blow your mind up," Ernam said.

"Whoa! Is it that interesting?" Toya said.

The three of them sat on the ground and let Ernam sit on a chair.

"Do you guys have the world map?" Ernam said.

"Yes, I do have one," Anna said.

"Open it."

"But why?"

"It's something very important."

As Ernam said, Anna opened the world map she brought from Sapiens City.

"Look at it carefully. You guys are currently at the Human Continent I. There is a straight line to the Zero Point from Human Continent I. It is wrong."

"What are you saying?"

"The line here is a straight road to Zero Point above the sea. The road doesn't lead to Zero Point. It is a trap. The government made it to kill their enemies. Every year thousands of people enter that road to sneak into the Zero Point but they just disappear. They never come back. That road is called 'Way to Death'. And the sea below it is called 'Sea of Death'. You guys will reach that road after twenty more towns. But you guys should avoid that road. Even Victor K Water himself doesn't use that road to come to Human Continent I."

"Then what should we do?" Toya said.

"You guys will have to go through Beast Continent, Demon Continent, Sea Continent and Human Continent II to reach the Zero Point."

"That will take a lot of time," Toya said.

"But it's better than dying," Ernam said.

"Then why don't people protest about the wrong map?" Toya said.

"That road and sea are restricted. So ordinary people don't go there often. But those who want to become the King of Kings enter the road and meet their end. Therefore no one remains alive to protest the wrong map."

"That makes the government pure evil," Anna said.

"Yes and that is why Victor K Water needs to be taken down," Ernam said.

"Hey mister," Ariel said and stood up.

"What?" Ernam said.

"How did you know we were going to travel to Zero Point?" Ariel said.

"That's because I have a magic power to read what's on a person's mind," Ernam said.

"So that's why you knew we were going to fight against Viola?" Ariel said.

"You are not wrong," Ernam said.

"Chiefffffffff!!!!!" suddenly a guy screams while running towards Ernam.

"What has happened? "

"The Zuchs are coming," that guy said.

"Who informed them?"

"Maybe the guy who delivers newspapers everyday."

"Dang."

"Maybe we should leave," Toya said. Anna and Toya got up and they started rushing towards Destiny.

"Wait you guys. Take this, the correct world map. I had saved it for this very day," Ernam said and gave the map to Ariel.

"Thanks for your help," Ariel said and joined Toya and Anna. They got up on Destiny and left the town. Ernam rushed to the gate of the town and bid them farewell.
