6 Rias Runs Away! Crisis Outside the Ruins!

(A/N: Sorry for the late update guys, I had to redo the chapter as I wasn't satisfied with it. Well, just enjoy it, as always! *smile*)

After the commotion made by the children, the party continued normally. It was only a little conflict in the eyes of the adults. As long as there were no deaths, it was fine.

The party was over after a couple of hours passed by. The Devil Clans slowly left one by one.

Before the clans left, Sairaorg was staring at Kurama with eyes burning with competition. Diodora was watching both Kurama and Rias with a scheming glint in his squinted eyes. Graag was looking at Kurama as if he was a monster. Eneely's gaze at Kurama had a complicated look while both Sona and Seekvaira stared at Kurama with amazement.

Zephyrdor was slack-jawed when he saw Kurama's punch on Riser. He started trying to get closer to Kurama and even went as far as calling him 'aniki' even though he was 3 years older. He even told Kurama to call him Zephy. Well, with his gangster personality, his reaction is normal as a sign of showing respect to the strong.

Riser was shivering all throughout the time after the conflict. He would tremble everytime his eyes meet with Kurama's. The events of today would put Riser on a trauma in the future as his face would change everytime he hears someone say Kurama's name.

After everybody else was gone, Zeoticus looked at Rias and Kurama who were napping on a couch by the corner of the hall. He planned on telling them about Kurama's engagement tomorrow evening. Zeoticus then went over to where they were and picked the both of them up with Rias on the right side and Kurama on the left.

Zeoticus tucked them to bed in their room after he brought them over.

-The next day-

Rias' face was now healed and was as good as new. They only used normal medicine as using the [Phoenix Tears] is too extravagant.

The day went by as usual without any problems until evening came and Zeoticus called them to his study room.

The twins entered the toom and stood in front of their father then asked "What is it Papa?"

"Starting tomorrow, you guys will now have to go to school. You two need to learn proper etiquette as a noble Devil. You also need to learn at least 1 instrument. And your powers, you two need to hone your Powers of Destruction. Learn some, or make your own technique to further your fighting prowess." Zeoticus told them as the two perked their ears to listen.

"Why do we need to learn instruments Papa?" Kurama asked as he was puzzled by having them to learn an instrument.

"Well, as a noble, you need to learn at least 1 instrument even if you don't like it. We noble Devils need to maintain our image as a role model for the middle and lower class Devils." Zeoticus answered as he looked at Kurama.

Kurama nodded as he turned his head and look at Rias " Ricchan, what instrument do you want to learn?"

Rias furrowed her brows as she looked towards the ground, thinking. She then looked at Kurama after a while with a sad expression and said "I... don't know."

Kurama smiled and patted her head while saying "It's okay Ricchan. Me too. I still don't know what I want."

Rias expression then brightened and said "Then let's look for it together!" While jumping at Kurama to hug him.

"Un!" Kurama nodded as he hugged her back while Rias just giggled.

Zeoticus bobbed his then suddenly told them "Kurama, Lord Phenex and I arranged a marriage between you and his youngest child Ravel. Well, it was supposed to be Rias and Riser but after that little stunt you kids pulled, it was changed to Kurama and Ravel."

Both Kurama and Rias stared at their father with wide eyes and mouths agape. Rias didn't even hear the rest after hearing her father say that Kurama was to be married to another girl other than herself.

While Kurama just stood there, stunned. He didn't even know who this Ravel was and furthermore, she was that hateful guy's little sister.

They then slowly regained their wits and exclaimed,

"HUH?!"

"NANDE?! (why?!)"

Kurama just exclaimed while Rias asked why. She suddenly felt so frustrated after hearing what her father said. She thought that she would be the one to marry Kurama and this sudden bombshell was so devastaing to her. The room was suddenly covered with a crimson glow and a strong pressure was suddenly released by Rias.

"Huh? W-what? Ria why are you angry?" Zeoticus was startled when he felt the pressure from Rias. Although it was nothing to him, he was still afraid that his daughter might hate him without knowing the reason why.

Kurama felt nothing at all as Rias subconsciously tried to avoid harming him but Kurama could still sense Rias' aura flow wildly.

Rias' chaotic aura continued to rage on for a while until it suddenly died down and she could be seen hugging her knees while crying quietly.

"R- Ria, d-did Papa make you mad? If so please tell Papa." Zeoticus was panicking especially when he saw Rias squatting down then started crying.

Rias then looked up and glared at her father.

"Papa no DAIKIRAI! (I HATE you papa!)"

Zeoticus heard the sound of a glass breaking in his mind when he heard what his daughter said to him.

Rias then suddenly stood up and directly bolted out of the room. When she opened the door, she saw her Mama that was about to knock. Venelana quickly came over after feeling the pressuring aura from the study room.

Rias just flashed past her mother as she headed outside of the house.

Kurama watched Rias' fading figure as he looked back to glare at his father. He resented him for making Rias cry. Kurama then sprinted away and followed Rias to try calming her down and bring her back home.

Venelana then entered the room with a scary look on her face. She was glaring daggers at her husband right now who was still in a daze state while muttering 'Ria hates papa', after Rias' outburst. She then walked towards him and pulled his ear which made him wake up.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Wha-what are you doing?"

"What am I doing? More like, what are YOU doing? Explain what happened!"

Venelana then let go of his ears and started listening to his explanation.

Venelana sighed after hearing what happened as she look at her husband as if he was an idiot. "What are you trying to pull, saying all that stuff in front of Rias? Are you an idiot?"

"Huh? I'm not trying to pull anything!" Zeoticus justified himself as he answered his wife.

"Sigh~ you know how much they love each other that they can't even be separated with force right? They even told me that they would marry each other."

"Huh marry? But they're siblings."

"THAT'S WHY YOU'RE AN IDIOT!"

Rias was running away in a random direction while crying her eyes out. She stopped then looked around and saw that the place was unfamiliar to her. She was terrified and scared in being alone at this kind of place. She then walked towards a random tree and sat down by hugging her knees while crying. She then muttered 'Kuu-chan' under her breath.

A few minutes later, Rias then heard a rustling sound in the bushes. She was scared out of her mind and shouted "Who's there!"

— Small Fox POV —

The rustling sound continued until a small crimson-red fox head popped out. It was looking at Rias curiously. Its instincts were telling it to come here and then saw this girl crying.

"Wuwuwu" She was trying to tell Rias to follow her. The small fox then turned around and started walking. She looked back and saw that the girl was not following her, the girl was only looking at her curiously. She then walked back towards the girl and tried to cuddle up to her.

"Wuwuwu!" She then tried to tell the girl again to follow her.

— Standard POV —

"You want me to follow you?" Rias finally seemed to understand as the small fox nodded its small head.

The small fox then jumped and walked at a certain direction. It turned its head and saw that Rias was following, so it continued walking.

They walked for around 10 minutes and found themselves in a dilapidated ruins.

Rias looked at it for a few minutes before the small fox then sounded out a 'wuwuwu' and dashed forward. It dashed so fast that Rias was left behind.

She immediately tried to follow but then heard a voice that sounded like metals grinding at each other speaking behind her. "Oh? What's a little girl doing around here?"

Rias halted her steps and turned around. She saw a man full of hideous scars on his face and chest. He was only wearing a pair of black trousers with a naked upper body.

Rias took a step back as she was frightened by the man in front of her.

"W-who are you?!" Rias asked in fright.

"Me? You can just call me scar-man, little girl." Scar-man said as he smiled, but that only made him more horrendous.

"Don't be afraid little girl, are you lost? Come, let uncle take you home." Scar-man then started walking towards her.

"N-no!" Rias refused the man as she also started walking backwards before she got cornered by a wall behind her.

Scar-man was slowly creeping towards Rias and then arrived in front of her. He forcefully grabbed her wrist as he tried to drag her towards the ruins.

"Let go of me!" Rias shouted as she tried to struggle out of his grip.

"Don't struggle little girl it's futile, just come with me." Scar-man laughed evilly as he walked through the messy ruins.

"No! NO!" Rias screamed as she was still trying to struggle out of scar-man while thinking about Kurama in her head.

They were almost inside the ruins when suddenly, a fist full of destructive power was aimed towards scar-ma's face. Rias was overjoyed after feeling the power.

*BOOM*

Kurama was following Rias' trail. Maybe because they are twins that he can instinctually find and locate Rias' general location. He even found the tree where Rias was sitting by for a while before the small fox eventually came.

Kurama then instinctually looked towards the direction where Rias and the fox left before he started heading there.

He ran for about 5 minutes and saw a dilapidated ruins full of rocks and boulders.

Kurama suddenly tensed up and looked around just to see nothing. He felt uneasy about something but can't pinpoint where it was. Until he heard Rias' scream and immediately knew what he was feeling uneasy about.

He dashed towards the location of the scream and saw Rias struggling from the strong grip of a half-naked man, body and face full of scars.

He then sprinted as fast as he can and punched towards his face.

*BOOM*

The man was sent flying for around 50 meters before coming to a stop. He was startled by the sudden punch and let go of Rias to block it with his arm which blew up after getting hit

Kurama then held Rias and asked, "Ricchan are you okay?"

"Uwaaa!" Rias cried and hugged Kurama and said, "I was so scared Kuu-chan!"

"It's okay Ricchan, I'm here now." Kurama comforted Rias as he hugged her back and patted her back.

Scar-man stood up and saw his mangled arm hanging down. He grew furious after seeing his arm damaged to the point of no return.

Scar-man glowered at Kurama and said, "You're pretty strong for a kid your age brat!"

Kurama let go of Rias and turned around. He tensed up and let Rias hide in her back and said, "Stay behind me Ricchan!"

Rias refused and said, "No! I want to fight with Kuu-chan! I want to protect Kuu-chan too!"

Her face was full of determination as she stood beside her twin brother. Kurama just looked at Rias with a gentle expression on his face and sworn in his heart to always protect Rias.

The twins faced the scar-man together with determined expressions on their faces which made the scar-man laugh out loud.

"Hahaha! Do you really think you little brats can stop me?" He then dissappeared from where he stood as he was too fast for the twins' eyes to see and appeared in front of Kurama as he kicked his stomach which sent him flying. He then swiped his hands and hit Rias in the face which also sent her flying to the side.

"Hmph! Even though you have great destructive power, you're still a kid in front of me!" Scar-man smirked as he scornfully looked at the bedraggled Kurama lying on the floor.

Scar-man then walked towards Rias, held her up by the neck and threw her towards Kurama.

Kurama quickly stood up to catch Rias, but the force was too strong and they both ended up being thrown away.

Scar-man reappeared between Kurama and Rias. He smirked at Kurama as he began walking towards Rias.

Rias crawled up and threw a wave a destruction which the scar-man easily dodged.

He arrived in front of Rias and held her up by the neck. Rias tried struggling, but it was futile.

Scar-man reappeared to where Kurama was and said while smiling cruelly, "Brat, let me show you how you kill someone."

"NOOO!" Kurama screamed painfully as he stared at the scarred-man

The scar man was laughing maniacally but didn't notice that Kurama's chest and Rias head was glowing with a crimson-red light.
