5 A Little Conflict and an Arrange Marriage

An hour earlier before Lord Phenex asked Zeoticus for Rias' hand to marry his son.

Kurama and Rias' group were happily chatting with each other. Kurama was the laid-back type, Rias was the lively one, Sairaorg was calm and confident, Diehauser was an easy-going type, Sona was serious and polite while Seekvaira was the cold type.

While the group was busy talking with each other, Kurama excused himself as he went towards the table full of food. He saw Zephyrdor by the table holding a plate full of meat while his other hand was holding a chicken leg.

Kurama himslelf took a big plate and started putting all kinds of food, be it pork, beef, fish, vegetables or fruit. He went over to where Zephyrdor was and tried to say hi to him but Zephyrdor just shooed him away making him sad. So he went back to where Rias was, but then saw her arguing with a blonde-haired kid.

"Kuu-chan is not a loser!" Shouted Rias as she glared at Riser.

The blonde-haired kid was Riser. He went over to where Rias was after Kurama left. He started talking to Rias about how they will be enganged in the future as he was told by his father that he will try to get the both of them engaged before coming here.

Rias denied Riser by saying that she won't marry anyone else but Kurama. This made Riser laugh out loud because he thought that Rias was really still just a child for thinking about marrying her own twin brother. Riser and his group's ages are between 7-8 with Riser being 8 years old.

Riser then started mocking Kurama in front of Rias by calling him a loser. This made Rias flare up instantly and glared at him as she really hated it when somebody is trying to say mean things towards her twin brother. Rias then started to argue with Riser until Kurama heard the shout.

"What's happening over here?" Asked Kurama as he slowly went over to his chair by the table.

Every kid except Zephyrdor as he was still busy eating, turned their attention towards Kurama who just arrived bringing a big plate full of food.

Riser then looked at him with undisguised contempt and disdain visible in Riser's eyes while saying "Oh here comes the loser!"

Everyone, even the adult Devils nearby except Rias' group looked at him with mockery, scorn, derision and disgust which made Kurama feel uncomfortable but just brushed it off as he was already used to it.

Kurama quickly put his plate on the table then grabbed Rias who was facing off with Riser.

Diodora looked at them with a dark glint in his slightly opened eyes then tried to incite Riser "Will you just let your soon to be wife get taken away by some loser?"

Riser instantly started losing it as he glared and shouted at Kurama "Hey loser! Where do you think you're taking her? I'm still not done talking with her."

Rias, who heard Riser immediately turned around glaring at him while gnashing her teeth in anger. "I said Kuu-chan is not a loser!"

"Heh! Alright, alright he's not a loser okay?" Riser smirked as he spoke is sarcasm.

"That's right! He's not!" Rias replied while not detecting the sarcasm in Riser's voice.

"Hahaha yes he's not a loser but a trash!" Riser laughed out loud after saying that.

Rias got so angry that her {Power of Destruction} flowed out chaotically. She dashed towards Riser and punched forward with the all her power.

Riser was startled by Rias' outburst. He then got frightened after feeling the incredible power held within her fist. He immediately dodged to the side and then instinctually countered by making a backhand slap to her face.

*slap*

Rias staggered to the side as she fell down after getting hit by Riser. Her pretty face got a little burnt as Riser's hand was covered with flames using his {Pyrokinesis}.

Everybody was stunned. They never thought that Riser would hit Rias, furthermore, it was even her birthday today.

"I... I- I didn't mean..." Riser panicked as he looked at Rias' burnt face. He also didn't anticipate himself hitting Rias as he just instinctually countered the punch. Maybe because he felt threatened that his survival instincts flared up that he just tried to retaliate.

Rias' {Power of Destruction} was already powerful enough to fully disintegrate Riser but she never had any training regarding techniques or martial arts. So, while she was powerful enough to kill Riser directly, she can never hit Riser who had started training already.

Kurama stood there petrified as he looked at Rias who was sitting on the floor clutching on her face that was a little burnt. Sona and Seekvaira went over to help Rias stand back up.

Kurama soon snapped out of his daze and turned to look at the panicking Riser. Anger immediately surged up his head and a wisp of killing intent flashed through his eyes.

"RISER!"

Shouted Kurama as he dashed towards Riser and punched out with his own {Power of Destruction}.

Riser was panicking and his head was already in a mess. He turned towards Kurama who was dashing over with a hint of killing intent and was stunned to see that he had the same kind of powers as Rias.

He tried to dodge the punch but was too late to react as he was hit by the shoulder. Blood immediately splurted out and dyed the floor red as an arm was seen flying out.

"AAAARGHHHH!" Riser screamed out of pain as he kneeled on the floor and clutched his broken shoulder.

Kurama was not done yet as he punched out another one towards Riser's head.

*BAM*

A dull sound was heard as Kurama's little hand can be seen being blocked by Sirzechs who immediately came as soon as he heard the commotion over here.

"Kurama STOP! What did I tell you about not hurting anyone today?!" Sirzechs immediately tried to stop Kurama's rampage.

"Get out of the way nii-sama! He hurt Ricchan!" Kurama was defiant of Sirzechs words. He quicly tried to punch Riser again with his other hand but he was pulled back by Sirzechs and the punch didn't reach Riser.

Riser's hair was blown away by Kurama's punch. He was lucky as there was only 1 inch left before Kurama's fist hits his face.

Sirzechs was distraught as Kurama was not listening to reason. He looked around and spotted Rias who was being held by Sona and Seekvaira.

"Rias! Please tell Kurama to snap out of it!" Sirzechs told Rias as he had a pleading expression on his face.

Rias nodded towards Sirzechs and looked at Kurama who was rampaging trying to struggle out of Sirzechs' grasp. She calmed herself and went over to where her brothers are.

"Kuu-chan please stop! I'm fine so please stop Kuu-chan!" She immediately hugged Kurama's back as he slowly started to calm down.

Sirzechs' then slowly released his grip on Kurama and told one of the servants to fetch Zeoticus and Lord Phenex. The servant then nodded as he complied with the order.

Kurama started to regain his reason and calmed down a great deal as he sat on the floor. Rias was still hugging Kurama's back while kneeling on the floor.

Riser was stunned silly that he even forgot the pain on his right shoulder. He just felt death brush over him so his reaction was perfectly normal for an eight year old kid.

Everybody else were slowly regaining their wits as the situation developed to another situation quickly stunning everyone completely.

Sirzechs then slowly left the place when he saw the commotion stabilize. He went over to where there were no people around and then looked at the hand he used to block Kurama's punch and surpringly found a small wound with little blood flowing out.

"This brat! What a monster!" Sirzechs smiled as he looked back to where Kurama and Rias were.

"So, does Rias have any fiance as of yet?"

Zeoticus smiled wryly as he looked at his old friend for asking such a question.

"No not yet. Why do you ask old friend?" Zeoticus tried playing dumb as he answered Lord Phenex.

Lord Phenex didn't mind as he stated his purpose for asking such a question "Well, I want to arrange a marriage between Rias and Riser."

"Uhh..." Zeoticus frowned as he heard rumours about Riser's personality which was very arrogant and a little lecherous.

As if knowing what he was thinking, Lord Phenex told Zeoticus "Don't worry. I'll properly educate my son well. I'll also betroth my 2 year old daughter Ravel who is at home to your son Kurama."

Zeoticus was silent as he slowly contemplated whether to accept the proposal or not. Lord Phenex just sat there silently waiting for Zeoticus' answer.

While Zeoticus was thinking, a servant went over and said "Gremory-sama, Phenex-sama. Please come with me. Sirzechs-sama told me to inform you about the situation regarding the children."

Both Lords furrowed their brows as they followed and listened to what the servant was telling them.

They soon arrived at the place then saw Riser's dazed look with only one hand left and the twins hugging each other. Zeoticus went over to his children while Lord Phenex moved towards his son.

Lord Phenex swiftly took out a small vial. He went to pick up Riser's stray hand and then came over to where Riser was. He attached the hand to Riser's shoulder and poured the contents of the vial over.

After Riser's hand was reattached, he soon woke up from his daze and started bawling his eyes out after seeing his father.

Zeoticus then stood up from a kneeling position and went over to Lord Phenex and apologized as Rias was the one who made a move first.

"I am very sorry for this Lord Phenex."

"Sigh~ It's fine. My son is at fault too for being such a bully."

Lord Phenex then took out another vial and handed it to Zeoticus "This is the [Phoenix Tears] that can heal any wound as long as the person isn't dead yet no matter how fatal. Use this to heal Rias' face."

Zeoticus was bewildered why Lord Phenex would gift him the [Phoenix Tears] just to heal Rias' face and was about to refuse the offer but Lord Phenex beat him to it "Please take this my old friend or my heart won't feel at ease."

Zeoticus hesitated for a moment but then relented and accepted the vial. The both of them went silent for a moment as they looked at the kids in front of them.

"Looks like I can't take Rias as my daughter... but I can take Kurama as my son." Lord Phenex said while smirking.

Zeoticus nodded when he heard the first part of the sentence but nearly spat blood after hearing the second half.

"Well, I can't say no to that now, can I?" Zeoticus smiled wryly as he looked at the small vial in his hand. He knew he can't deny the proposal now after recieving the Phoenix Tears. He also knew that he got played by his old friend by giving him the vial.

"Nope!" Lord Phenex answered and then smiled smugly at Zeoticus.
