Chapter 85 - Going to Carmilla faction.

Issei brought Lilith to his home where he was greeted by the girls who stunned seeing his eyes. He was radiating different air than before with Vali who was a direct descendant felt her body overjoyed seeing the two.

She couldn't help but be distraught seeing Lilith who was mentally broken into a mere child. It was lunch with Persephone helping with the dish. Issei put her down then held her hand dragging her to sit at the table.

They didn't even question if Issei tried using magic to heal her because it was obvious he did but nothing change. The devils felt pity seeing their progenitor in a constant daze.

"Are you alright, Anata?"(Yasaka)

"….I won't lie I'm fine. It's…hurt seeing her like this. If any of you were to like this then…"

"Enough Issei. You did your best."(Rias)

"There's nothing we can do besides try to help whatever we can."(Sona)

Both heiresses comforted their lover who relaxes his clenched fist. They reminded of the time when Issei became a similar state where he couldn't fully think. He was basically half-death after being poison by Samael. The only way that saved him was gaining Great red flesh and Ophis power even then it resulted in tragedy but Issei gradually return.

Issei patted the head of Lilith who surely looked at him emotionless but it was obvious she enjoyed his caress. Deep within her still lived the old Lilith but time would tell when she return. The atmosphere was cold but it vanish once the aroma of the dishes was smelled by Lilith who reacted to the food.

He didn't hesitate to slowly feed her whose eyes shone from the taste. Issei was glad that she wasn't broken that nothing makes her react. None of his lover was jealous in how Issei fed Lilith but rather delighted. They were happy to see her greedily eat the hot chicken curry rice.

No one mention Lilith, Ophis spawn as they knew that she had fused with the Ophis. They didn't feel sadness since she still lived within her. Rias and the girls decided to take Lilith to helped her while Issei relax with them. Valerie and Gasper turn to be in arms as he was mentally exhausted from anger.

"Who are you bringing in carmilla faction?"(Valerie)

"Le fay is currently occupied with her brother. I need to take Serafall. maybe Koneko, Kuroka, Rossweisse and , Ravel."

"Yeah, you hadn't been spending much time with them. But after that we should have a date." (Gasper)

Issei smiled as he watches Lilith was enjoying herself despite her emotionless face. Though, she gave glancing at Issei with question gaze. He is sure that Lilith was uncertain of things and curious about everything.

Afterward, everyone went to the bathhouse letting Lilith experience a warm bath. Rias and Akeno helped watch Lilith treating her like a little sister. Issei submerges himself in the warm water and relieves that at least Lilith still alive.

The next day, Issei was going to the Carmilla faction to finally meet Vandalieu. Katerea had woken up and was shocked to see Issei. Her bloodline made her feel at ease around Issei. She was able to give Issei what had happened and explain the description of the dark apostle but was unsure what their plan are.

Ingvild comforted her aunt who had lost their whole clan. Issei was pissed not just because of Ingvild's sadness was because it was his lover's children even they are the twisted creation of the outer gods. He made sure to make mental note about it.

Issei did a seen a glimpse of their action and what they're doing would lead to chaos. He left Ingvild with her aunt to have their moment.

At the present, Issei was with Koneko, Kuroka, Ravel, Rossweisse and Serafall. They could already sense the change within the place as something was influence it.

"We should stay vigilant."(Ravel)

After taking the first step issei was instantly presented by familiar face who appears to be doll from her pale white skin but the red eyes was a clear indication she was human. The young girl had long light blonde hair wearing middle ages clothes and ornament headdress.

"Wait do you remember me Elmenhilde?"

Elmenhilde approach Issei gesturing to get closer before digging her fangs into Issei who let her drink his blood.
