61 Chapter 61 - Battle part 2: Issei vs Nightmare

Issei POV

I summoned dozen of destruction needles to ware down my opponent that cause a massive explosion and blocking my sight Yet I could still clearly see through the thick smoke. My opponent raise its gigantic weapon then move in tremendous speed despite its bulky body.

It didn't cause the dust be cleared but rather slice like an solid object. I have many things in my life that anything hardly surprise me but I'm emotionless to not react. Well I'm getting out of topic as the creature leap towards me doing a diagonal slash but I was able to evade it then did a round house kick finally disbursing the dust.

The creature wasn't sent flying as It took my power which is comparable to a low primordial god. The sheer force had decimated the nearby building. Thankfully this place is a sub dimension but unfortunately it had [Infinite seal] which gave me little way in accessing my power. Though it gave me some more control over my power. Ha! Jokes on you outer gods.

It grabbed my leg then tried to slice it but used my other legged while adding infinite boost to it. My attack worked destroying the creature upper body allowing me to escaped but I knew it was for a moment when I saw it instantly regenerated then went ballistic at me.

The creature speed was much more faster than me that I used my [Divine divider] to slow it down. I summon a replica of Yuumi's sword birth since I can't used [Ayin] as it would be far to risky.

Perk of having sacred gear is able to summon any of it but much weaker than the real one. However, it mediated with my [Boost] still I'm not adapted at using them. Since the creature was type of demon which different than a devil yet still share the same weakness and it is a holy weapon.

I used sword birth while applying holy lightning and Fire to weaken the bastard who was relentless in slicing me up. The creature was pierce through by countless blade but it just flex and roared destroying everything.

["I must destroy everything! You must die!!"]

It monstrous roar in anguish began sending waves of fire and lightning swith its enormous blade tore through spaces managing to damage even my thick armor and then stab Its enormous blade into the ground.

["Soul wave!"]

It released a massive wave of negative energy that cause everything to wither and die that even my scale were affected causing it to erode. I tried used dimension lock to ensure the others wont be affected. They were preoccupied with the opponents and though I'm worried I trust them enough to survive.

Not to mention, I already place powerful teleportation that would send them back outside leaving me alone to handle them. The creature finish its attack growing even more powerful with is waist becoming an enormous mouth.

["I have become one, I am nightmare, I am inferno!!!"]

It instantly close our gap but I was able to held up my guard yet it push me back destroying several building. I don't know if I should be glad or not that the place isn't really the academy but a dimension world created by the [Infinite seal].

We were in standstill when instantly onslaught of diagonal cuts and slashes that I deflected with my fake Sword birth. I held out my hand then used a tier spell to slow it down.

"Black Hole!"

The creature which call itself nightmare was devoured by a black hole but it couldn't stopped it and only manage to destroyed part of it and proceeded to attack again but this time with more powerful swings.

I used divine once again absorbing its enormous strength draining its stamina but it was too animalistic that it didn't faze him. Using my Infinite blaster fired a powerful blast straight at him shattering the space opening a crack in the dimension.

It manage to slow it down and I quickly dash to get closed then place my palmed to used my [Shattering] which is modified version of dress break that disburse the raging energy within nightmare's body. I then heard a powerful roared as it caused a massive pain from my attack.

Nightmare quickly swings it blade towards me but barely evade its downward slash that resulted in large ravine. I was getting annoyed that it wasn't giving up on me but its better since the others won't need to worry.

"I never wanted to used this but [Infinite Crono Stasis!]"

Used the tenth tier spell [Time stop] and Ophis [Infinity] I was able to create a brand new spell called [Infinite Crono stasis] that trapped a creature indefinite amount of time as long I am present. I took breath since it took a lot of mana to be used.

I stared at nightmare who glared at me with murderous intent. It was no affect to me when I fought countless creature with similar power but none had such relentlessness as this creature.

"Alright time to saved yo-"

Before I could even finish my sentence the bastard manage to shatter my spell with ease but it didn't disappoint me as this spell is still enw and need improvement.

'I need a weapon that break rules. Maybe I should create a sacred gear that sever connections. It might be useful in the future.'

I wasn't even bothered by the newly escaped monster as finish my analysis and quickly repaired the damage dealt with my armor. I enveloped myself in golden lightning and fire then held tight with the blade in my hand. We both intently stared at each other waiting for one to attack.

"Well time to get serious."

We both reappeared hundred miles away from where we came as moved faster than light clashing with our blades. The two of used had fire and lightning based power but mine was holy while nightmare demonic.

I slice through its head like butter but it regenerated as I was cutting through its flesh. Nightmare did the same with me but the same were equal as my immortality keep up.

For the few seconds in real time we had spent hours slicing through each other but every time our own regeneration kicks in. However, Nightmare was getting weaker and weaker due my Holy attribute that was purifying him.

["Die!! Everything must die!! For Nyarlathotep!!! Chaos!!!"]

Nightmare charge its blade absorbing life and energy in the surround that enveloped Its blade with dark red miasmic aura then swings its mighty blade to I tried to parry but it broke the fake Sword birth then slice my right arm.

I took a distances away and found my arm was regenerating much slower. I quickly understood the attack affected my soul damaging it from the process.

"Well now you just piss me off."

It would take me a week to regenerate in real time since soul is far too different from physical body. I think Valarie could help it since she has more dominion over soul.

I took a deep breath closing my eyes and time seem to a million times slower than normal then my energy grew then I open my eyes revealing the golden pupil and crimson cross iris. Then behind me sprouted fourteen white feather wings radiating in white light.

Nightmare flinch sensing the absurd amount of holy aura but it berserker state held it in place and tried to attack and met with my hand as I grabbed him in the face flying in the sky with high velocity then descending in immense speed dragging him through the ground.

I then drew it in the sky then summoned dozen of magic circle containing Holy lightning and fire destroying his body. My onslaught of spell didn't give it time to rest decreasing its regeneration speed.

Finishing my spell, I summon a fake True Longinus as replace with my [Ayin] then pierce through nightmare torso that was in the process of regeneration. I stabbed to the ground as it roared in pain.

"I don't have time for this."

I placed my hand on its head and used Great read power over dream to enter its mindscape as I still needed to save the host. If I can get his soul without any corruption then I can revive him back.

What greeted me in the other side was a young man short hair wearing dark armor with an enormous blade on its back.

"Gut-Nii why do you always frowning?"
