18 Fall of the Fallens (1/2)
Kento stared in shock as he saw Kalwarner.
The once perfect and gorgeous face that she had was now half burnt, ruined by Akeno's lightning.
But he knew it was still the same woman.
The same ungodly trash of a being.
"We meet again." He said calmly. "And it seems like you brought your friends this time."
There were quite a lot of people with her, something that made Kento a little nervous.
"Yuuma…" Issei stared in both sadness and disgust at the woman that was besides Kalawarner.
"I told you my name is Raynare, you fucking pervert!"
"It was the name that you chose, Yuuma~"
Kento noticed that the girl who spoke was a young looking girl with blonde hair. She wore a black and white frilled dress alongside a smile of contempt.
Raynare didn't say anything and simply glared at Mittlet.
"You have grown stronger." This was another voice that Kento recognized. "Something that is not too bad."
"And you seem to act the same." Kento said. "Their babysitter." He smirked. "I did not get your name though."
The man smiled.
"My name is Dohnaseek, an angel that fell even before the birth of your savior."
But Kento already knew their identities.

Kento realized the difference in their {Flight} skill as Kalawarner had to flap her wings twice as much as the rest to keep floating.
'The essence plundering sure did its job.'
"You won't be leaving alive this time, Kento." Kalawarner was beyond wrathful as she saw Kento.
Kento knew that he could not do anything recklessly, there were just too many underlings that they had.
But those were not all fallens.
'Why do they have so many humans with them?'
At first, he thought they were controlling their minds –but then he remembered that humans were some of the most greedy and filthy creatures out there.
"What do you all want now?!" Issei shouted and Kento could feel the hurt in his voice.
"Oh, don't worry." Raynare smirked. "We have nothing to do with you two, it is her that we want."
As she pointed at Asia, Issei was horrified.
"But as a bonus, we will be taking your lives~" Mittlet chimed in.
This got Kento curious. 'First that lunatic and now them… Just what is so special about her?'

Kento's eyes went wide when he saw her status.
'Dragon tamer… And also a Sacred Gear.' Kento was amazed. 'And by the name… it is certain that it is a healing type gear.'
It was pretty obvious to Kento now as to why they were so interested in Asia.
"Are you ready to say your prayers~" At Mittlet's question, both the boys became vigilant.
Kento was confident that he would be able to deal with the fallens if he used every single thing in his arsenal –however, he knew that he could not take them all down if their minions intervened.
Which they would definitely do.
"C-Can we do this?" Issei asked, already aware of the answer.
"Absolutely not." Kento answered honestly. "But we weren't supposed to defeat them. We were merely meant to stall them." He smirked. "Isn't that right, Rias?"
And as he asked the question, a chuckle echoed.
"You are quite amusing, Kento Yamazaki. Truly Amazing."

Everyone at the Occult Research Club was shocked when Koneko revealed that Kento managed to push her back.
And when she said that she was forced to use almost all of her demonic power, everyone thought it was a joke.
But Rias knew that Koneko never joked about such things. And so when Issei ran off to save Asia alone, she had to ask Kento for help.
They had to deal with a fallen attack from the other side, which they realized was a feint to draw attention away from Asia.
So, Rias hoped that Kento would be able to buy some time for Issei till they could reach them.
And Kento went above and beyond and even took down the rogue priest, Freed Sellzen.
"That is quite a lot of enemies." Akeno said, weirdly happy about it.
Koneko nodded. "We should not drag it for long."
"Dragging the fight will cause too much unnecessary damage." Kiba added. "What do you say, president?"
Rias nodded, but right now her focus was on someone else.
"Are you okay, Issei?"
"P-President." Issei said. "Yeah, I am. But Asia is wounded."
"Get her to safety." She gave him a comforting smile. "We will deal with them."
This comment drew the attention of the fallens.
"You think you can win against us?" Raynare laughed. "Look around you. You are surrounded."
"No matter how strong you are, winning against such a massive army is not possible." Kalawarner was confident that it was their definite victory.
After all, their enemies were a bunch of kids.
"Soldiers!" Mittlet shouted. "Attack!"
This caused swarms of enhanced humans to rush at the devils.
But this did not faze any of them.
Kiba immediately summoned a sword as he jumped the front lines with Koneko.
Akeno stood behind them, providing them with long range support with Rias next to her analyzing their formation.
"This will be fun~"
Akeno smiled.

What none of them noticed was that the moment the fallens launched their attack –two certain individuals went missing.
"Ugh!"

'Never thought being a human would be this good…'
The moment he heard of the privileges from the system, Kento used his {Flight} and {Light Manipulation} skill to carry Dohnaseek away from the battlefield.
'His {Strategist} skill would've been troublesome for them.' He thought.
Dohnaseek was furious. "You damned human!" His gentlemanly demeanor vanished as his power flared. "You will be punished for this!"
Kento had no intention of entertaining him and as such, he immediately decided to go for the offensive.
{Horo-Kanu}
Swooping towards the fallen, he immediately lunged an attack to his abdomen.
Dohnaseek was shocked at his speed, but he tried to defend himself.
"Ugh!"
However, the boost provided by new skills topped with {Horo-Kanu} managed to penetrate his defense –striking him straight in his abdomen and pushing him further away.
"*Cough!*"
Dohnaseek coughed blood as the strike damaged his insides.
'That did more damage than I expected.'
Kento felt the ridiculous strength building up in his body, and it wanted nothing more than to exert itself.
"I must give it to you." Kento said. "You might be a racist, but you are still not the worst out of the bunch."
Dohnaseek was furious at being tossed around like a rag doll.
He tried to use his abilities, but Kento wasn't allowing that.
'Rule one of a death battle, never let your opponent finish their move.'
{Light Manipulation}
Dohnaseek was shell shocked at seeing Kento using light based skills.
"How!" He roared. "Why do you have that power!"
Kento smirked. "You will never know."
Saying this, he immediately summoned a massive barrage of light shots –demolishing the place that they stood on.
"*Aghhh!*"
But that was not enough.
[Splash Potion of Poison]

Throwing the bottle of poison at the fallen, Kento rushed at him with his dagger.
[Samael's Dagger]
"This is goodbye."
The fallen stood no chance against Kento as he swiftly pressed the dagger at the fallen's neck.
"This power." Kento smiled, as Dohnaseek plopped to the ground. "I can get used to this."
