Chapter 2 - Adopted

An area that is surrounded by trees, a bewitchingly beautiful and attractive young man appearing in his early twenties, with light blue eyes and green hair that is slicked back. He has a mysterious aura around him which he claims makes him seem devilish.

The man was crouching while analyzing some herbs. He is the Chief Advisor for the Technology Department in the supernatural world. Ajuka Beelzebub.

The man then heard something. It was not a monster or his assistants. It was a baby that is being placed in a basket while covered by a comforting cloth.

Just by looking at the baby, Ajuka noticed something that piqued his interest and caused him to get shocked a little. The reason is Ajuka is unable to measure the power of the baby.

"Hoo? Who might you be?"

Ajuka slowly lifted the baby from the basket. The baby stopped crying as he felt the warmth of another person. The baby closes his world while leaning his head to Ajuka's chest. Ajuka then looks around and uses his powers to locate any person that is near to his location, but there was no one.

"You're a male... Your name will be Lethlan."

Ajuka said as he gently caressed the cheeks of the baby. Then, he walks back towards his laboratory with a gentle smile on his face.

~6 years later~

It's been six years when this man named Ajuka adopted me. To be honest. I did not expect that God made me into a baby... But still, I am blessed to have Ajuka found me and adopted me.

It seems like this world is called the supernatural world... There are Angels, Devils, and Demi-humans alike.

And Ajuka my adopted father is known as the leader of the underworld and the last satan thingy...

I regained my memories when I was two years old, and it hurts like hell.

In these six years, Ajuka taught me how to use the power of the devil, but I was unable to learn it.

But what surprised me is the necklace around my neck. It has a golden flute as a symbol and no matter how I tried to get it off. It won't.

But one day. When I was trying to explore the forest that Ajuka said I should train. I was ambushed by a monster that can rival middle-class devils.

The monster that looks like a jaguar leapt towards me. I closed my eyes because I'm sure I can't do anything about it.

Suddenly, the necklace that I have glowed until it materialized into a golden flute. The time around me feels like it was suddenly paused and memories of my abilities enter my mind.

It showed me how to use my abilities and the golden flute. I looked again at the leaping Jaguar as time feels it resumed.

The Jaguar was getting closer until it hit a barrier. Yes, a barrier suddenly appeared when the demon jaguar was getting closer.

This is my passive ability called ~Anti-insidiis obice~ A barrier that can repel ambush from physical, mental to magical attacks. The more I get older and stronger, and the barrier will develop into something that I will even sleep while enemies are attacking around me.

I professionally twirl the golden flute towards my mouth. I inhaled softly and played a heavy tone.

As the music played gracefully to the ears, sharp-edged rocks ascended from the ground as it pierced the Jaguar.

To explain about my abilities... It's not that powerful yet because I'm still six years old. But playing the flute and comprehend what power I will cast, the knowledge will materialize itself.

As I said, It is not that strong yet because I'm still young.

"When you reached 13 years old. I will announce in the devil world that I have a son named Lethlan Beelzebub."

Ajuka said as he took food from his plate, we are in the dining right now. I looked at Ajuka and replied.

"I understand father, but may I ask something? Can you tell me how strong am I right now compared to the others?"

Ajuka put his spoon and fork on the table and wipe his mouth with a handkerchief. Ajuka looked at the chandelier then sighed deeply.

"I hate to admit, but as your current age right now it made me feel jealous. Why? If we soar right now, our battle will end up me losing. Just by trying to attack, you will give a headache to tour opponents."

So this what God told me, huh... About not having a problem in this world. Thank you, God. But is this okay? Letting a devil adopt me?

I shook my head to what I thought. Ajuka is a blessing to me. He took care of me and treat me as his child. Not all devils in this world are evil. Living with him for six years proves it. Even the devil workers are good people.

And as a musician for many years in my past life. I'm good at judging people, to be honest. While thinking about some random stuff.,Ajuka opened his mouth once again and said.

"For now. I want you to train more and will introduce you to Sir Zechs, my childhood friend. She has a beautiful sister. Maybe you can get along with her, or better, teach her how to act like a grown-up because, for me, your mindset is very mature so you will be an excellent example for rias.

"Rias? Okay."

To be honest, I don't know her, and I don't know what anime world I am right now. What I remember watching was the old generation anime like Voltes five, etc.

"And lastly, in the Devil faction, once a noble son reached age 13, marriage proposals will swarm, especially you. You Lethlan is a very handsome young man. Even my assistants have a crush on you despite your being very young. Sigh... they are unable to focus their work if you're around."

Is it because of how mature my body is? Because Ajuka let me do hell level exercises and made me take some weird vitamins, maybe this resulted? I look like a well developed 15 years old that made me scared if I will get older fast.

I ask Ajuka about this, but he said I would stop growing for a while because of how fast my body develops. Thankfully he assured me when he Analyzes my current growth.

"Now then off you go. Continue to study and develop your magic."

Ajuka shoo me after I emptied my plate. I looked at him silently and mumbled 'Thankyou for everything.'
