51 Chapter 50: Pendragon

Mordred was currently massaging someone who seems to be someone who doesn't need it on the surface. The strongest queen who appears to be perfect all the time, Grayfia Lucifuge.

"Hmm~ Thank you for indulging me Mordred-sama." She can't help but groan at his ministrations. Grayfia was having a lot of stress lately.

Because Sirzechs was trying to escape his work due to the headaches it was giving him.

"Lucifer-sama is being childish, trying every opportunity to get away from his work and dote on Rias-sama. That sister complex of his is too troublesome." Grayfia sighed.

"Hmph, he deserves that work. He made a deal with that degenerate; Azazel after all." Mordred huffed and Grayfia smiled wryly.

"Well, it was good on paper Mordred-sama. Lucifer-sama contacted Azazel because he was scouting good peerage members for Rias-sama." Grayfia started to explain their side.

"Akeno Himejima would get saved. Azazel would be pleased that Barakiel's daughter will live. And Rias-sama will get a strong servant. She managed to inherit Barakiel's holy lightning after all.

Akeno will be crucial for Rias-sama's dream to be the rating game champion." Grayfia sighed in delight at Mordred's massage.

It always reinvigorates her. 'Is it because his draconic mana is cycling through me?' She always felt like she could go to war right after.

"Well, as a faction leader. That degenerate must be busy. But Barakiel should have a contingency for these kinds of things. They even destroyed the wards we put up at the shrine. The Himejimas got outside help." Mordred squinted his eyes.

"Ahn! Mordred-sama, you put in a bit too much mana." Grayfia pouted at him and he chuckled.

"Sorry, I got a bit heated. Valerie managed to get some good information and I remembered their deal." Mordred got angry.

She perked up at that, but he didn't expound further. So Grayfia left it at that.

"But why Akeno exactly? There are more beings out there that can help Rias. Not to be condescending or anything. But Akeno is weak, she doesn't have any training using her fallen powers. The most she could do is use onmyoji spells." Mordred was confused.

"Well, Mordred-sama. Not everyone is like you. Rias-sama is bordering on ultimate class right now. All of the people in your friend group really. Which earned them the title; Little Satans." Grayfia chuckled.

"But that's where you come in. I think that even if the top ten peerages attacked you. They would be trampled on." Grayfia smiled wryly.

Their compatibility was just that bad. She even doubted if they could come close to him.

Roygun has been banned in the rating games and she is now just a high class devil. With Diehauser and Roygun Belphegor combining crack and worthlessness. They might have a chance of attacking him.

An extremely low chance that is. But then comes his high magic resistance. Mordred is also a beast physically. Both his swordplay and magic are top tier.

And the devils don't even know that he has more toys to play with. Gram would eat them alive, demonic power won't win against Gram.

They would get an aneurysm if they learned that Mordred reforged the sword of promised victory. And it had qualitative changes too.

If he used all of them at once? Even Ajuka's Kankara formula can't stop an onslaught of attacks that you have low comprehension of. Holy relics and power can't be researched by devils. Even if they could, they won't be able to get their hands on holy artifacts.

Mordred is so strong against devils it wasn't even funny. All it takes is just one stab or slash. Then it's game over.

"Well, I thought about the rating games back then. But honestly, it doesn't interest me anymore. If Sirzechs or Ajuka fight though, that will be interesting." Mordred rubbed his chin.

"That won't be sanctioned at all. Anyways, Rias-sama needs members. And I'm still waiting for your queen to claim my title." Grayfia teased him a bit.

Mordred pouted at him and gave her butt a squeeze. Grayfia felt an electric sensation overload her nerves and she gritted her teeth immediately.

As a Lucifuge that served the original Lucifer. Grayfia has a big power fetish. And Mordred has that in droves.

He also looks like a handsome young man right now that surpasses gods who are said to look perfect.

A very juicy target for a devil who is a creature of sin. So she immediately put on her clothes, but gave him a glance of her magnificent chest.

"Thank you Mordred-sama, it has been a pleasure as always." She kissed his cheek and he nodded with a smile.

"Tell Sirzechs to work, or I'll take Rias from the Gremory house." Mordred joked and Grayfia chuckled at his rare quip.

"Kekeke~ Why not have more members to help you?" Azi Dahaka whispered like the devil.

"Ohhh? That, huh? You can summon some interesting things with that." Another head spoke and the weird, honorable one was quiet.

He didn't want Mordred to use that terrible spell. It was black magic that summons eldritch monsters from the void.

Mordred then got a new forbidden spell from Azi Dahaka. And the dragon keeps on goading him to use it.

'Hmm, can't I just repurpose this?' Mordred squinted his eyes. Momiji and Valerie would use their sacred gears to pick the ones who will respond.

Though it needed more tinkering on his part. Anything could show up in the spell. So he needed to narrow it down.

'Wait a minute...' Mordred made a call to Mephisto. He is one of the most knowledgeable people he knows about magic.

Azi Dahaka of course knows more. But he's out due to obvious reasons.

"Young Mordred, pleasantries or business?" Mephisto's carefree voice resounded.

"A little bit of both. Say, magicians used to summon devils without contract papers right? How did they do it?" Mordred squinted his eyes. This could be a game changer, so he wanted to know what he could do to change Azi Dahaka's spell.

"Hmm, that's correct. The devils didn't hand out fliers with their magic circles back in the past. What the magicians and cultists did. Was use catalysts." Mephisto began explaining and he listened intently.

"Of course, you couldn't really get something that they own. You'd have to make contact with them first. So the very first summonings used black magic and sacrifices." Mephisto sighed, he thought that the old devils really were unpleasant.

"I see, but I can't help but bring up what you said earlier. I can use something that belonged to them? What's the criteria needed?" Mordred had an idea and Mephisto hummed.

"It needs to be significant to them. Of course, you can't just use some toilet paper or their blankets when they were kids." Mephisto chuckled.

"They have to be magical in nature. The more time it spent with them, the better." Mephisto ended his explanations and Morded blinked, his parallel thoughts running a mile a second.

"Thank you Mephisto, I will be sending you some holy nails." Mordred ended the call and Mephisto didn't know how to feel about that.

"Hah, I guess I need to hire contractors to use them. He forgot that I'm a devil." Mephisto sighed as he couldn't really even go near Meredith's holy nails. It's a sacred relic for Christ's sake.

Mordred though, immediately teleported back home and he called for Erina and Valerie.

"Master, what's the matter?" Erina got closer to them due to them treating them like normal human beings. Who would've thought that people would like that?

"You're in a rush and your soul is chaotic, what is it Mo-kun?" Valerie tilted her head and Mordred smirked.

"I just got a great idea, if this works. We'll have allies that will be extremely valuable." Mordred bobbed his head left and right.

"Tell us what's it about then!" Valerie beamed at him. Whenever something makes him happy, Valerie gets into a really good mood.

"U-un... I'll help you however I can." Erina nodded shyly and Mordred smiled at them.

"Good, call Ise as well. This might use a lot of power. And I want her to give me some boosts." Mordred thought of a contingency.

"Get everyone actually." He remembered that what can appear might be hostile. So hitting whatever it is with divides, holy flames, world ending storms, and sage arts when it wants to fight will be ideal.

"Okay~" Valerie called the others and they appeared in a short amount of time.

They want to see what he has cooked up in his head. After all, the last time he called them for a meeting like this. Mordred told them that he'll be building a new faction.

"Okay, I will be summoning something. And I want Erina and Valerie to narrow down the choices that will appear as much as possible." He squinted his eyes and he made a magic circle on the ground.

"This is really intricate... A forbidden spell!?" Tiamat glared at him and he stood his ground.

"I will be changing it mom, don't worry." He shrugged and he explained that he'll be using a catalyst for the ritual.

"If whatever comes out of there is hostile, kill it immediately. That's an order, attack it with extreme prejudice. Then Valerie will banish its soul to the deepest depths of the void with Mordred's help." Tiamat eyed them all and Mordred thought that was reasonable.

"Okay, let me do my work." Mordred started modifying Azi Dahaka's spell a bit. Reinforcing it with runes so that it would be more stable. And only one magic signature could materialize at a time.

He got it from one of Scathach's special moves. The gate of Skye, in which she opens the gates of the land of shadows. But in this case, it was the opposite.

Instead of sucking people in, they'll be summoning through a magical gate.

And using Azi Dahaka's forbidden spell, he was able to change it smoothly. It works in the same principle after all. It just limits the entities entering.

Mordred then picked one of his swords. He didn't really want to try summon Arthur. Because he does not have any attachment to him.

So he looked at Clarent. He also doesn't care about the historical Morded at all. But he did think that she was a bit of a sad person that got tricked by Morgan Le Fay.

"Hmm, maybe I should give her another go at life?" Mordred put down Clarent in the middle of the magic circle and it was as strong as a catalyst could be.

Complete and not broken, full of magical properties, and meant a lot to the historical Mordred. As she stole it because she thought that it rightfully belonged to her.

"Okay, let's do this." Mordred looked at Ise and she nodded. Transforming into her balance breaker immediately.

Erina and Valerie were the first ones to receive a boost. All the three grails appeared and Valerie concentrated.

Meanwhile, Erina just wished that Mordred would succeed. And that's enough for the Telos Karma to increase his already high luck.

Ise boosted to the maximum and she nodded at Mordred. "Transfer." She gifted it all to Mordred and he started willing the magic circle to life.

Everyone went quiet and the rest of them entered their balance breakers. Except Meredith that was still working on hers. Wanting a subspecies one.

Valerie concentrated and she started sweating due to the amount of souls that were trying to get the delicious mana of Mordred.

But he shut them out of it and nodded at Valerie who appreciated the help.

Meanwhile, at the dimensional gap. A very large red dragon looked behind. "Hmmm? Must have been the wind."

A small tear opened up in the void and Great Red, the dragon of dragons didn't notice it. Thinking it was a small space quake.

The dimensional gap was weird after all. And it was normal for time dilations, spatial tears, and weird crap to happen.

"Are we there yet!?" Mordred was straining and his kin started giving him more mana. Ise kept on boosting Erina, Valerie, and Mordred.

"I think this is a bad idea Mordred." Tiamat could feel that it already sucked up enough mana to blow up Asia. The largest continent in the world.

Yet it was still siphoning Mordred's mana as the caster. "No! It's going somewhere. I don't know where, but something is happening!" Mordred's dragon hearts were working full time to cycle mana from the others and turn it into his own.

"Mo-kun, I'm getting tired..." Valerie was rejecting stronger and stronger souls that were hounding the magic circle.

"I can feel it, taste it. It just needs a little bit more!" Mordred suddenly went wide eyed as a connection formed in his brain.

"What's wrong?" Tiamat checked him out. But there was practically nothing wrong with him. Though she hasn't checked his soul yet.

"It's here..." Mordred stepped back a bit and something materialized in the magic circle. (Pic)

"Uhhhhh, a knight? I expected something more." Ise was exhausted and she transferred a lot of boosts.

"Hey, shorty. Are you saying that I'm disappointing?" The knight looked at Ise and flared her magic.

It was strong, a solid ultimate class. But even Mordred was a bit disappointed. Though a little trip to Scathach's torture sessions can change that.

"Vali, that one's soul is extremely unstable. It's starting to dissipate even." Albion noticed.

"The white one is correct, that knight's going to disappear soon." Ddraig added and Valerie nodded, confirming that what they summoned was unstable.

The knight clicked her tongue. Then she saw who summoned her. "F-father?" Those green eyes and blonde hair. The look of disappointment in his verdant eyes.

It gave her some serious flashbacks. "What? Father?" Mordred raised a brow and the knight took off her helmet to get a closer look.

She then checked and noticed that he looked a bit more like her. And her father wasn't a man, which is very confusing.

"W-wha? Mo-kun, she looks just like you." Lavinia pointed out and everyone was surprised.

"What's your name?" Mordred could feel a slight connection with her due to the summoning ritual and she sobered up.

"I'm Saber, nice to meetcha master. Though I won't last long. My soul has been damaged by that place with pretty lights." She shrugged and she was slowly getting more ethereal.

"The dimensional gap?" Mordred blinked and he thought that was impossible. Her soul should be in 3rd heaven or is supposed to be residing in another person right now. Just like with Jeanne's.

"Is that what it's called? Meh, whatever. Nice meeting you though. I feel like I could get along with ya. Before I disappear, I'm Mordred Pendragon. The knight of treachery." She introduced herself.

"I now dub you, Mo-chan." Lavinia nodded sagely and she glared at Lavinia.

"Shut up!" She pointed her sword at her and everyone got tense.

"Well, that's the thing. He's also Mordred Pendragon. Arthur and Guinevere's son, the true heir of Camelot. He even has Caliburn with him." Tiamat revealed and Mordred took out his sword.

"W-wha? But Guinevere didn't have a son?" Mo-chan was flabbergasted.

"Well met, sister." Mordred shrugged and it was the start of a very convoluted family tree.
