1 Chapter 01

"Goshujin-sama, please wake up. Otherwise I'll have to--," My hand reflexively switches off the clock on the dresser beside the bed.

"Ouch, Ouch," - A horrible headache briefly disorients me. Still sitting on the bed, I look around for anything that might help me understand what was going on.

All I find is that my eyesight was horrible. Unconsciously I pick up the glasses I've always kept under the dresser, then stop and notice something.

'Glasses? I never wore glasses. And what the hell is this place?'

I was in a room with walls full of posters of 2d female figures and an anime written 'Drag So-Ball'.

Some vague memories start popping into my mind and with that...

"No, No, this can't be happening," -I despair due to my suspicions and I really hope I'm wrong.

I hurriedly get up, open the door and head towards the hall bathroom.

And to my horror, I see the vision before me in the bathroom mirror. Impossible, was what I first thought. My throat is dry, my eyes are wide and my mind is racing with an explanation for this unreal situation.

Yes, I was reincarnated. To be more precise? In the world of DxD.

I'm sure being here would be the wish of many perverts from my old world, myself included of course. What? I will not pretend to be a decent person, unlike certain protagonists of some fanfictions.

Hell, the characters I hate the most are the ones who pretend to be morally superior, but deep down they're complete perverts who want the same thing as Issei.

I'm a pervert and I'm not ashamed to say this to myself. Of course, I'm not going to go out on the street and declare to the whole world that I want some oppais, unlike Issei. As it would only spoil my chances of ever getting a girl. I always prefer to dose my perversions and mask them.

Back to the point, so what was the problem with being here? What was agonizing me was...

The young man staring at me in the mirror has a slim build, black hair, round glasses, and an average appearance. A typical forgotten mob character.

"*Sigh*. Why not Issei or some other character with decent power?" I shake my head to the side in disappointment.

"Motohama," - Said a loud voice from downstairs.

I call out in response, "Yes, Dad?"

"Breakfast is already on the table and I'm late for work. The keys will be with you and no pornography in this house," he said in a visibly tired voice.

"Understood," I yell in response.

Mr. Sato is surprised that his son has not complained about the ban on pornography. Long ago he gave up actively putting any sense into Motohama. But with not much time left, he just forgets about it and goes to work.

After putting on some more appropriate clothes and heading down the stairs. I eat a piece of toast as I plan my future options.

First, I want to be strong. Damn, you can't blame me. This is a world of magic and I'd be torturing myself for the rest of my life if I didn't at least try.

Problem is --- as far as I know Motohama was a pathetic character at best. That typical person for comic relief, who appears a few times on the scene just to envy and say how amazing the protagonist's life is.

Luckily I still have two months before classes resume and I can get my mind together and get used to this new reality.

While I'm distracted, the sound of the cell phone in my pocket pulls me out of my thoughts.

After seeing the screen and sighing, I answer the call.

"MOTOHAMAAA. What are you doing that you haven't come until now? The deal was to meet us at Issei's house early. The day is short and we have to marathon Sailor Puri Puri at least twice."

I had to move the phone away a bit because of the teenager's high-pitched, irritated voice.

"Sorry, Matsuda. I have some important things to do, an unforeseen event so to speak, so I'll have to leave it for another day."

Matsuda lets out a cry of indignation, as if he's heard the most absurd thing in the world. "HERESY. What could be more important than marathoning Sailor Puri Puri? Don't you remember that shy panty that shows up to grace us in just a few scenes? That cute, innocent voice? Please DON'T TELL ME -- that- that-that you're turning to the dark side of the force."

Huh? Really? Okay, I'm a pervert, but I'm not the least bit interested in watching an ecchi anime, let alone a hentai one --- together with two other guys.

This is very far from my limits. My stomach turns over thinking about it. Sorry buddy, I don't swing that way.

"Err-- I'm sorry, I have other matters to attend to today."

"Issei, did you hear that?" - Matsuda said on the other side of the disbelieving line.

From the back of the call I could hear Issei's voice too, "HEYYYY!! Who are you on the other end? What have you done to Motohama, YOU COWARD? Let him go!! He's my friend."

"Sorry guys, but I have to hang up. See you later," I give one last click and hang up. With that, I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

In this dangerous world, I cannot sit idly by, I have to gather information. I hurry up with breakfast and then decide to walk around the streets of Kuoh Town for a bit.

Knowing the information from my memory and seeing it with my own eyes are two completely different things. Kuoh town is a very complete city so to speak.

On my walk I passed shopping malls, cinemas, inns, karaoke, coffee shops, restaurants of various nationalities and much more. You could say that here was a little bit of every entertainment.

With fate in front of me, I entered a public library that was just outside the eastern part of town, a few minutes away from the Kuoh academy. The size of the place is considerable and as soon as I entered I could already see the numerous shelves of books ready to be searched.

After the initial conversation with the librarian, I go straight to the section that talks about supernatural and occult subjects.

This being a city in the devil's territory and having several supernatural apparitions, my hope was to find some lost book that might give me some kind of advantage or knowledge.

If I found a magic book or something like that it would be considered a real treasure.

Unfortunately after a few hours I had to give up my quest, apparently the books there were just silly stories with no real connection to the supernatural.

I confess I was a little disappointed.

"Of course things couldn't be so convenient," I muttered to myself as I sat down in a coffee shop chair.

I was frustrated and a little hungry, so I decided to make a stop halfway home. If my estimates are correct, I have just over 8 months before canon. Currently the perverted trio (which includes me), we are in our freshman year of high school and I remember the beginning of the story would be sometime in our second year.

"May I take your order, Sir?"

"Huh?" I look to my left and my body freezes in that very instant.

There she was, wearing a tight-fitting waitress outfit, milky skin, visible cleavage, full thighs, and above-average face.

In that same instant, as if I had a sudden epiphany...

I bring my right hand to the juncture of my glasses and the lenses have a slight shine and I say aloud, "88, 63, 89."

The waitress is wide-eyed and takes a moment to digest the situation and, "Kyaaaaaaaaa!!! Pervert!"

The dry sound of the slap and the waitress's scream draw the attention of the other customers present in the establishment. They whisper and look at me strangely, like I'm trash. But I was too stunned to care about their looks.

'What the fuck was that?' I rub my cheek with a visible handprint as I watch the waitress walk away and head towards the kitchen.

I waste no time and decide to flee the place, before that woman brought someone from inside the kitchen to kick me out.

Walking with a scowl through the streets, I meditate on the strangeness of the event. A few minutes later I arrive home, silently walk upstairs, and internally thank Mr. Sato hasn't come home from work. I didn't want him to see my bad mood and pester me with questions.

I close the door to my room and slump sloppily into the chair at my study table.

My lack of humor stems not only from this incident, but also from my lack of results in my library search.

With both arms braced on the study table, I ask myself, "Should I make a contract with demons for some magical knowledge?" Taping the tip of a pencil to my chin thoughtfully, I come to the conclusion, "No. I should avoid contact with them and try to find another way to introduce myself into the supernatural. The chances are too high for them to erase my memory."

While it is true that there are many humans who are aware of the supernatural and who even enter into contracts with demons--- my conditions are very different.

Because I'm a student at Kuoh Academy to be precise. The only ones with involvement with the supernatural in that school are Rias and Sona's own nobility.

A human with nothing to offer and no potential of any kind would just be 'obliviate' to keep things in order.

Of course, this could all just be me being paranoid. But who's to say I'm not right? I don't want to risk it. I must have some power not to take this risk.

Thinking back to the previous topic, I stare blankly at the walls until a hypothesis forms in my mind...

"But what if---," My heart beats a little harder in hope.

I remember in the series that Motohama had the ridiculous ability to see the measurements of girls' bodies. And that a few hours ago I had the displeasure of speaking out loud unconsciously.

But what if --- this ability wasn't just by chance?

I want to immediately test my theory and I look intently at the pencil resting on the palm of my hands.

A breath passed, two, three...

And I kept looking at the pencil as if I wanted to unravel it. If anyone saw me like that, I know they would probably call me crazy. But none of this mattered, all I want is to prove my hypothesis.

When I was about to give up, I remember an important element of the event that took place today.

I sigh and try my last move. While staring steadily at the pencil, I bring my right hand towards the juncture of the glasses and...

"2mm, 170mm, Caribbean pine wood. Dry clay, graphite...," I started reciting all the knowledge that came to my mind.

Incredible.

I get up excitedly from my chair, or at least I tried, as I failed miserably.

"Huh?" My vision is blurry, my body heavy and without delay I pass out on the table.

What fate awaits for Motohama? Nobody knows.
