Issei was taken aback by her solitary presence, fueling his curiosity even further. He looked at her with a mix of confusion and intrigue as she stood there, sniffing the air. Breaking the silence, she uttered a perplexing statement, "You're not human... you're not a devil... you're not an angel... you don't smell like anything. What are you?"

Issei abruptly rose to his feet, casting an indifferent gaze at the girl before him. "I'm not someone you need to worry about," he retorted dismissively.

"Is that so? But do you even know what I am?" she inquired, her tone carrying a serious undertone.

He chuckled in response, delivering a flippant remark, "A beautiful girl asking me out on a date?"

Tiamat couldn't help but crack a smile at his audacity. "Consider yourself fortunate that I found that amusing, or else you would have faced dire consequences."

'Ddraig...she's one of the Five Dragon Kings, Tiamat! Please, don't let her discover your identity,' Ddraig communicated telepathically.

'Why? Is she a formidable opponent?' Issei inquired through their mental link.

'Compared to you? Not really... However, I owe her a debt, and I'd prefer she remains unaware of your true identity unless you want her to stalk you for the rest of your life,' Ddraig responded.

'Is she your ex or something?' Issei inquired further.

'Not exactly...but I sort of owe her for breaking one of her treasures. Ever since then, she's been pursuing me and my hosts relentlessly. Trust me...she's the kind of trouble you don't want to invite,' Ddraig expressed his concern.

"Well...you're quite the enigma, aren't you? How intriguing... You must be a devil, considering how deep you've infiltrated their territory without facing any consequences. Or perhaps an undercover angel masking your powers and scent. Whatever you are, I will uncover the truth," Tiamat asserted, leaning in close to Issei and resuming her scrutiny.

Her investigation abruptly halted as another voice interjected, "Tiamat, leave him be. I'll handle this."

"Understood, Vali," Tiamat replied curtly, stepping back.

Vali approached Issei, his gaze scanning him intently. "I don't care about your identity. Angel, devil, it doesn't matter to me. I'm half human myself, by the way. The name's Vali Lucifer. Nice to meet you, Issei Hyoudou. Rumor has it that you're quite a badass here at Kuoh Academy. I heard you had a little encounter with one of the student council members earlier."

Curious, Issei asked, "Is there a specific reason you're introducing yourself to me?"

Vali shrugged nonchalantly. "Not really. I simply wanted to touch base with you before anything else unfolds at this school. Unlike Tiamat, I don't go around approaching people or intruding on their privacy. I just wanted you to know that we're not affiliated with the devil factions in this school."

"Same here," Issei replied with a casual tone.

Vali nodded, expressing her approval. "That's quite surprising, but it's good to know. If you're interested, you can join forces with us. You seem like the kind of person worth having around."

Curiosity piqued, Issei asked, "Vali Lucifer...are you a devil?"

"Yep, I'm a high-class devil heir," she replied confidently, revealing eight black demonic wings before swiftly retracting them. Issei took a moment to appreciate her appearance, noticing her captivating blue eyes, long silver hair, and an overall aesthetically pleasing face. Her well-toned arms and legs, along with her athletic build, showcased a commendable bust and an appealing figure.

Issei found himself genuinely surprised by the revelation of Vali's devil wings as he stared at her, uncertain. "So, you're a powerful devil. What about her?" he pointed towards Tiamat.

"Tiamat is a Dragon, one of the Dragon Kings. Specifically, she is the Chaos Karma Dragon. We've been allies for several years now," Vali explained.

"Why are you both here at Kuoh Academy? What brings a powerful devil like you and a Dragon King to this place? And why did you choose to reveal yourselves to me?" Issei inquired with curiosity.

"I am here to find potential allies for the Khaos Brigade. Kuoh Academy and this town are teeming with paranormal activity, making it a prime location for scouting. While this city falls mostly within the Gremory and Sitri territories, there are other variables at play, including individuals like yourself. I didn't expect to come across a promising recruit on our very first day," Vali responded.

"That makes sense, but what exactly is the Khaos Brigade?" Issei sought clarification.

"The Khaos Brigade is a collective of individuals united against the angels of Heaven, the fallen angels, and the devils of the underworld. We serve under the command of the Infinite Dragon God Ophis," Vali explained.

"Ophis, the Dragon God, is actually your superior?" Issei exclaimed, finding it hard to believe.

"Yes, she is. And according to her, there's another dragon in this town. I assume that would be you," Vali deduced.

'Oh no...I need to downplay my true identity. She mustn't discover that I'm the Red Dragon Emperor. Maybe I can pretend to be just another ordinary dragon,' Issei quickly thought.

"Well, you made a good guess. I am indeed a dragon. Not as impressive as a Dragon King like Tiamat, though," Issei gestured towards Tiamat.

"Hmm, a dragon? It's strange that I couldn't sense it. Curious," Tiamat remarked, shaking her head.

"One of my unique abilities is the power to conceal my presence from others. I prefer to keep it that way, especially since angels and devils tend to hold a disdain towards dragons unless we're serving them," Issei explained.

"I suppose you have a point. You do appear more formidable than an ordinary dragon, and your scent is unlike that of a human. Moreover, I am familiar with all the renowned dragons, and you are unknown to me," Tiamat expressed her skepticism.

"I guess that means I'm not particularly renowned or powerful," Issei nonchalantly responded, shrugging his shoulders.

"Nevertheless, we could use another member in the Khaos Brigade. Plus, Tiamat can certainly train you and help you improve," Vali proposed.
