"In that case, you can stay at my house until we figure things out. But there will be some conditions," Issei stated firmly, his tone indicating that he had certain expectations.

Irina looked at him with curiosity, repeating the word, "Conditions?"

The topic swiftly changed as Xenovia interjected, redirecting the conversation. "Hey, Issei, you attend Kuoh Academy, right?"

Issei nodded, confirming her statement. "Yeah, I go to that devil's nest of a school. Why do you ask?"

Xenovia explained her reasoning, suggesting, "What if we transferred there? It would be more convenient to stay closer to you, and besides, it's probably safer to be in devil territory rather than fallen angel territory right now."

Irina chimed in, impressed by Issei's display of power. "After witnessing what you just did to that man, I'd say being around you is the safest option."

Issei pondered for a moment before responding, "I suppose that's okay. Since both of you are human, there shouldn't be any reason for them to target you."

Irina interjected with a concern, "But I don't think it's possible for us to transfer. Our education is...different from what a regular high school would accept."

"Perhaps if you knew someone on the inside who could help facilitate the transfer," Irina suggested with a glimmer of hope.

Issei contemplated the suggestion, expressing his reluctance. "I could ask the student council president, but she's a devil, and I'd rather not deal with that mess. If they find out you two are exorcists, things will only get worse."

Xenovia let out a sigh of frustration. "So, what should we do then?"

"We'll figure it out. Let's head back home for now," Issei declared, his voice filled with determination as he climbed back onto his motorcycle.

Reluctantly, Irina and Xenovia followed suit, seating themselves behind Issei. As he revved up the engine, they gripped onto him, and the motorcycle roared to life.

They arrived at Issei's house and he pulled into the garage. Irina and Xenovia hopped off the bike, a sense of relief evident in their actions.

~~~~~~~
As Issei guided his bike into the garage, he sensed a wave of relief wash over Xenovia and Irina as they quickly leaped off the vehicle.
"Take some time to relax. Feel free to help yourself to anything in the fridge if you get hungry. I'll be back in a few hours. I need to check on something," Issei informed them, retrieving his phone from his pocket.
He sent a message to Vali: [I have some free time now. Did you have something specific in mind for hanging out, or did you want to talk?]
Vali's response came almost instantly: [Actually, there are a few things I wanted to discuss.]
[Are you at your house?] Vali inquired.
[Yes, but I can meet you elsewhere if you prefer,] Issei replied.
[Meet me on top of the casino parking garage. I'll be on the roof of the tallest one,] Vali suggested.
[On my way] Issei typed before stowing away his phone.
Irina lingered near the garage door, her expression filled with concern. "Hey, Issei...where are you going?"
"I'm going to meet one of my friends. Take some time to relax, Irina. When I get back, we'll work out your living arrangements here," Issei reassured her before mounting his bike once more.
Parking Garage, Rooftop
Arriving swiftly at the designated meeting spot, Issei spotted Vali leaning against the edge of the building. She turned her head at the sound of his bike approaching, and Issei parked his motorcycle beside hers, stepping off gracefully.
Vali returned her gaze to the horizon as Issei walked toward her. "Glad you made it out here. I assumed you'd be busy all day. Did you take care of what you needed to do?"
"Yeah, it was just dealing with a rogue exorcist. A favor for an old childhood friend," Issei explained, leaning against the edge of the building next to her.
"Childhood friend?" Vali responded, her tone tinged with amusement.
Issei nodded, "Yeah, just a girl I knew back when I was younger."
Vali's curiosity persisted as she inquired, "Is she human?"
"Yeah, she's apparently become some sort of exorcist now. She asked if she could stay at my place for a few days," Issei explained.
Vali chuckled, finding amusement in the situation. "Haha, that's not something I'd expect from you. Why are you helping her? Do you have feelings for her or something?"
"Not really, to be honest. I barely remember her. The last time I saw her, I still believed I was human. I only discovered my dragon heritage a few years after she moved away," Issei replied.
"Hmm...so you had no knowledge of being a dragon until later in life. If that's the case, you've only been aware of your powers for less than a decade," Vali remarked, her surprise evident.
Issei nodded, affirming her observation. "Yeah...like I said, I'm not as powerful as Tiamat seems to think."
"She mentioned that you showed her your wings and emitted a significant aura of power," Vali mentioned, leaning back against the edge as well.
"Yeah, I did that just to get her to leave me alone," Issei sighed, recalling the encounter.
Vali regarded him with curiosity. "Which one of your parents is the dragon?"
'Tell her you're an orphan and your parents adopted you,' Ddraig suggested, providing Issei with a convenient excuse.
'Good idea, partner!' Issei thought, relieved to have a plausible explanation.
"Well...technically, I'm adopted," Issei responded calmly.
Vali nodded, her understanding evident. "That makes sense...most dragons would probably feel ashamed of having a half-breed child. But how did you come to learn about your dragon powers? You've only been living in Kuoh for a relatively short time. While some aspects may be instinctual, you seem to possess a greater understanding of your powers than one would expect from a self-taught half-breed. It's highly unlikely that you could have learned to conceal your power and scent on your own. Someone must have mentored you."
"What makes you think that?" Issei countered, his curiosity piqued.
