49 Kokabiel [Fixed]

Feeling better. Yesterday I didn't write much. I think I can write normally today.

Me and my group and arrived before the Abandoned Church.

There was a light show near the church. Probably Valper trying to combine the swords.

Kokabiel was on his throne in the sky. Kurama put us all under his Illusions. So we would be seen for a while

"Wait for my signal. I need to take out Valper. We will wing it once he is finished." I whisper to my team. They nodded back at me

I slowly used my own illusions to get nearer

Kokabiel was sitting in his throne reading some books. Freed and Valper were already there. They had defeated Irina and Xenovia and took their Fragments.

They were fusing the 6 Excalibur fragments

Irina and Xenovia were laying on the ground defeated. I can hear their breathing. So they are still alive.

"Yes. Yes! After years of study, it is nearly complete. I only need to gather one more fragment from the Pendragons and Excalibur will be completed" Valper cackled like a maniac with his arms spread wide

While standing in front of the Alchemy Circle. With Freed next to him.

I slowly close in on them.

"HAHA. I can't wait to slaughter the devils with this. It will be a bloodbath~" Freed started touching himself like a creep while probobly visualizing himself cutting people up

"Yeah, I don't think so" I appear behind them and plunge my hands into their backs. I quickly pull back.

They both coughed out blood as they turned around to see me. My hands were raised showing a beating heart in each palm

I just squeezed

Splat x2

And crushed both hearths.

Done. I am completely free from now on.

"NOOOOO!" Kokabiel yelled out and threw light spears at me. Those were quickly destroyed by my team

Booom! BOOM!

"Heh. Keep him busy. Don't let him run away"

"""Roger""" My team answered with a smile as they flew towards Kokabiel

I pick up Valper's Holy Energy Crystal and crush it in my hand. One by one the souls appear in front of me and the all bow at the same time before disappearing without a trace

I heard a large gong in my head

Sweet. Now that that's over with, let's see what they have been doing with Excalibur. I started to inspect the Alchemy Circle and see what I can understand with my limited knowledge.

Fixing the Excalibur Swords with alchemy my ass. These morons just pour alchemical metals to make up for the gaps in the sword. The Fragment is the power source. The sword itself is just a bunch of metals mixed together

Well. Time for a legend to be reborn.

I take out Excalibur Ruler and put it next to the Mangled up Fake Excalibur. Almost instantly it fuses together. And it started to shine a bright golden color. Like a golden star.

Now all the 7 pieces are finally joined together. Excalibur is a legendary sword. It has many origin stories. Created by God, created by the Lady of the Lake and many others.

Now that I'm touching it. I can tell. No more accurately it's telling me.

Excalibur was the only sword in the Biblical Faction that wasn't forged. God didn't do shit. He just swept in and took what he wanted.

This sword is the manifestation of mankind's greatest desire. The capitalization of the prayer named 'glory'. It is the light that continues to shine in the darkest nights. Over millennia mankind's desires have been gathered, by the will of the planet itself. A crystalization of their wishes.

God just came in and took it. He didn't even have to do anything. He gave it a shape and the wishes did the rest becoming

The Sword of Promised Victory

This.. is going to suck. Recreating something like this will probably take a lot out of me. But it will be hella worth it.

Full power baby.

Sword Creation.

I grip the handle even harder. The sword was having a hard time fusing. It was changing shape by the second.

Now get rid of the alchemical metals. They aren't needed.

Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip.

Droplets of molten metal were falling off the sword.

The blade started to get smaller. All the Metal was dripping off. All that was left was 7 Golden Fragments. It was if the Original blade was split into 7 and those pieces eroded over time. They still held the general shape. I lined up the pieces.

There goes the easy part. Now for the hard part.

The original sword was made from the 'desires' of mankind. Those desires are still there. I just need to get them.

Excalibur can gather those 'desires, hopes and dreams' to attack with. But since its broken, it can't do that.

Sword Creation I use my other hand to create a sword. Instead, it wasn't even a real sword. It was a tuning fork shaped like a sword.

'Resonance'

That's the power I gave this sword. I just hope it will work.

I Slash at the 7 Fragments.

Bzzzzzzzz

They started to shake and glow.

Not enough. I put more power in Excalibur and i hit the fragments again.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Come on! Work Damn IT!

I pour in a Forth of my power directly into Excalibur. Hope you burst you greedy sword. hopes and dreams my ass. I should call it Gluttony. I swung at the Fragments one last time.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

The pieces started to resonate. They turned a bright golden color.

It worked. HA!! IT WORKED!

I make the Resonance Sword disappear.

The 7 Fragments were Resonating on their own now. I started to pour in more power. To give it the juice it needs.

Slowly golden orbs or light started to raise from the earth. Slowly bit by bit they filled in the gaps of the Fragments. It looked like I was holding a sword made out of golden lights.

Time for the Finale.

"Sword Creation. Balance Breaker"

I hope this stupid chant works

"I command thee. Rise once again.

Let your light shine to show the misguided their path in the dark.

Let your name be revered once again.

In this realm. In All Realms.

A golden pillar reached for the stars.

"Dino take the sword. it's useless to me" Veldora threw Durandal to dino and ll of them surrounded Kokabeil

"What? Do you think that you can take me on with just your numbers?" Kokabiel said arrogantly while sitting on his throne

"He really loves the sound of his Voice doesn't he" Veldora frowned, Kokabiel was looking down on them.

"Tell me about it. Cockabiel always sprouts bullshit when he is around other Fallen. Which is 24/7. I avoid him like a plague." Dino glared hatefully at Kokabiel for all the hours of sleep he has lost.

"Dino. The Rising Star. The youngest Fallen to reach Ultimate Class. You have joined the trash I see. You had potential. Together we could have shown the world that the Fallen are super-" "Crimson FIRE!" Kurama waved his tils as Crimson Fire Wheels attacked Kokabiel

The rest of the team looked at him strangely. "What. He was getting on my nerves"

"Well you are a Fox Yokai. So it's expected of you to do sneak attacks" Misaki nodded in understanding

"You pathetic Fox. I'll skin you!" Kokabiel rushed to Kurama

"Kurama-san please avoid taking in more Nature KI to raise your strenght, until you have completely stabilized. Healing all o you is bothersome you know?" Asia teases as she activates Variant Detonation. Two spiked knuckle dusters appeared on her hands

"DIE!" Just as Kokabiel reached Kurama, Asia appeared in front of him and pulled her tiny fist back

"ORAAAAA!" *BOOOOOM*

Kokabiel was blasted backward.

"Nope~ Tiny blonds are terrifying. Please forgive me" Issei was doing a 90-degree bow

"She is amazing," Koneko said in awe. The girl was tiny like her, but her punch sent a Cadre flying.

The smoke cleared and Kokabiels state was revealed. His clothes were ripped and his skin was singed but he didn't take much damage.

His eyes turned even redder than they were. He summoned his wings and pushed energy to throw them. Making them sharper. Two Swords made out of light also appeared in his hands

*Trrrrrr Trrrrr* Dark Clouds appeared above them surging with Lightning. Veldora turned into his dragon form and dived into the clouds. Absorbing the power of the storm

"Storm Dragon's ROAR!" Veldora used a roar attack. A pillar of Lighting fell down on Kokabel who quickly raised his hands and used a Giant Light Spear to push it back

*BANG!*

Something small and condemned hit him in the shoulder. Kokabiel turned aroud to see Valerie forming something in her hands.

Valerie used her magic to drain Valper and Freed of their blood. She made Blood bullets that she used sparingly. Each bullet was filled with tones of her Mana. She waited for the right moment and like a sniper. She took her shot when the opportunity showed itself

Mikasa was standing near Valerei. She was commanding the Shadows from a distance. And threw Long-Ranged attacks at him. Once in a while she would use her Sword to charge up an attack and throw a Dark Air Slash at Kokabeil.

Who had the upper hand because he was stronger than her and was using Light Swords. He easily crushed her attacks but they were still annoying and allowed others to strike annoying

Meredith. Copied Isaiah and used her Holy Nails nails like Senbonzakura. All while fusing nails to become as big as Swords for Asia..

Asia punched the flat end of the Nails.

Meredith provided the artillery. And Asia was the CannonBoom Boom Boom Boom

Kokabiel had his hands full. He was being attacked from all sides

"Vritra. If we go into Balance Breaker how long would I last?" Dino asks Vritra as he kept throwing spears at him

[Hmmm. Because you are still new to the gear, this won't be a true Balance Breaker. But your body is strong enough to take the backlash so 1-2 minutes I guess]

"Let's do it! Balance Braker. Scale Mail" Dino was engulfed by purple fire, his strenght skyrocketed just enough to rival Kokabiel

When the purple fire died out they were greeted by Bulky Purple Armor holding Durandal

"Hahahahaah! Dino you look edgy as hell!" Veldora's loud dragon voice rumbled as he laughed

"Shut it you Flying Lizard!! I'll deal with you later. Kokabiel is first" Dino flashed he appeared next to Kokabiel and swung his sword horizontally aiming to bisect him.

Kokabiel quickly made a Light shield powerful enough to block the Strike. But Durandal isn't considered a top-tier HolySword for nothing. It was powerful enough to send Kokabiel flying.

Right, where Kurama was waiting for him in his fox form. With a giant Crimson Fire ball waiting for him

"Bijuudama!"

BOOOOOM!!

A flame explosion engulfed him.

Nobody said anything. They waited for the smoke to clear. Being careful not to let him escape do a sneak attack.

The Devils below could only watch helplessly. they were to weak to even interfere

When the smoke cleared it showed a black ball surrounded by a dense yellow light barrier.

Crrrr. Crrrr. FLAP

The light barrier started cracking. Kokabiel unfurled his wings breaking it completely. He didn't escape that explosion unscathed.

His wings and back were burned. He was late in making the barrier.

"My wings. My beautiful wings. HOW DARE YO-"

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

His monologue was stopped by Asia as she started her Nail Artillery Barrage again.

"You call those wings beautiful?! HA you need to check those eyes! Dino's wings are much prettier, Black like the midnight sky. Yours is the same color as a crow that has been dumpster diving" Meredith yelled at him but not stopping for a second with creating more Nails for Asia

Nobody could tell thanks to the armor. But Dino's cheeks were bright red. He was blushing

"You BITCH!"

Bang! Slash!

While his attention was on Meredight Valerie took another shot,.her blood bullet hit him in the thigh. Cracking the bone.

Misaka used her shadows to make a large gash on his shin

Whoosh.Dino appeared and swung his sword Diagonally.

Kokabiel quickly made a light sword to parry it. But he was tired and injured. Durandal cut through the Light Sword and made a deep gash on Kokabiels chest.

The only reason why he wasn't dead is because he jumped backward so only the tip of Durandal cut him. Just enough to land a scratch on his rib cage.

But it was over. Even he knew it. He had lost. He took too much damage. His is shoulder and thigh were pierced by Valerie. Misaka cut up his shin. Kurma burned his wings and back. And dino just cut open his chest and he was quickly losing blood.

Not to mention the mana exhaustion because of all the combined attacks he had to defend himself against.

CRACK!

Dino's Balance Breaker broke apart. Veldora grabbed him so he didn't fall.

"Ahhh I'm so tired. I could sleep for a month"BOOOOOOM!!

Everybody turned to the golden pillar. More specifically the man inside the pillar and the sword that he was holding

"Hahahahahaaha! You did it! You crazy bastard you actually did it. Not only did you recreate Excalibur. You brought it back to its original strenght. Not even HE could do that. Once a Holy Sword is broken it can never be truly repaired to the way it was. Hahaha Father must be rolling in his grave!!" Kokabiel laughed like a maniac completely oblivious to what he said

But everybody heard him. Fear gripped the hearts of Xenovia and Irina.

I slowly came out of the pillar as the light started to die out. Damn they really did a number on him. Kokabiel is on his last legs.

"Oops. I forgot that was a secret. Well never mind I'm starting a new war and this should fan the flames. In the Great War then the Four Satan's died so did God!" Kokabiel gleefully revealed the truth

Xenovia and Irina break down. They fall on their knees as tears stream down their eyes

"That's a Lie" Irina mumbled "That has to be a LIE!"

"No they would have told US!" Xenovia yelled at him

Kokabiel just chuckled when he saw their faces filled with despair.

"Would they? Angels need prayer's so they can stay alive and the System that made also needs prayers so it could work. To keep the secret. The illusion that God is just dead. The Church and Heaven have committed and covered up countless crimes.

The Great war happened 600 years ago. How many crimes do you think they have committed? And they call us Fallen evil" Kokabeil was taking great pleasure it twisting the knife in their chests

"Well, most of you are crazy maniacs to rape and kill humans. No offense Dino" Asia argued, she already knew about God dying. It made a lot of sense afterward.

"*Yawn* None taken. Why do you think I left?" Dino casually said. But his eyes never left Kokabiel. Even while injured he was still a deadly opponent

"They even sent you here as sacrifices. You knew this yet you still came. The church has always been good at brainwashing and training young children to die for their cause"

He does have a point.

But this has gone on for long enough.

"Fall back. I'll deal with him. He is already half dead. No need to allow him the chance to self-destruct and take one of you down with him" That was definitely something that he would do.

"Ahhh here comes the Great Leader. coming to finish off an injured opponent. Have you no honor" Kokabiel tried to stall for time.

He was seriously injured, he stood no chance against me. But he is a member of Chaos Brigade. I wouldn't be surprised if those guys had a secret means of transport

I just raised my eyebrow at his pathetic attempt "For scum like you. No. But you should be glad. You will be the first to die against the recreated Excalibur. Who knows. Maybe your death will start a war after all"

Before Kokabiel could even say anything my team cast a strong barrier around us. I raised the sword high above my head. I pumped power into the sword and a golden light burst from the sword.

Kokabiel took one look at the barrier and knew that he wasn't going to be able to escape

"Heh so this is it. Killed by a Holy Sword in the hands of a Devil. Oh the Irony" Kokabiel chuckled to himself.

"But I'm not going down without a fight" Kokabiel created a light sword with his one good arm and stood proudly before me

"Sayonara. Kokabiel. Angel of the Stars. May the light guide you home" I swung my sword and a golden light erupted that blinded everyone. Including me.

When I could see again. Kokabiel was gone. No trace of him remained.
