38 Grim Reapers

Well Dino was certainly a surprise. This team is coming along quite nicely.

First of all there is me. A Devil that has just entered High-Ultimate Class. Together with my Sword Birth, I can take on High to Peak Ultimate.

Transcended class is still out of my league. For now.

Veldora is Peak High Class. He is about to break into Ultimate anytime now. He needs a good fight to break through which I will provide later.

Dino is Low-Ultimate. But he can take on Mid-Ultimate class.

Meredith knows attack and defense spells. But they aren't her forte. Against Devils. She can take on High Class easily due to her sacred gear.

Others? Probobly low-High Class is her maximum

Valerie is strong. But she has no fighting experience. And her Gear messes with her mind. That's something I gotta fix.

Asia is a non-combatant. She isn't even Low-Level at the moment. But having an extra medic will come in handy. Double the Healing Power.

I gave everyone some of my swords

Tracking swords. everyone will know each other's location. They will alert everyone if one of us is in danger.

Protection swords for Asia, Valerie and Meredith.

They have a hidden feature. Loyalty Test. The sword can tell how loyal someone is to me and if they are thinking of betraying me. It doesn't control their minds in any way. That can be spotted. it just periodically checks for traitors.

I'm not dumb enough to think other factions won't try and plant a traitor.

Dino was a fluke. The lazy ass ran away so he isn't included in Grigori operations.

" Isaiah. These sword trinkets are so pretty" Asia beams happily as she wore the necklace with a sword trinket.

"Umm" Valeri just played around with it with her fingers. She barely ate yesterday.

Fuck.. RIght.. Damphir.

I'm stupid.

"Valeri do you need blood?" I'm actually a moron for not thinking of this earlier.

I doubt they gave her blood. Even if they did it was the bare minimum. Probobly didn't want her to get any stronger

Valeri looked shocked I asked but shook her head slightly "I can do without it"

Which wasn't a no. It means she can bear the thrist. Like she has been doing for who knows how long

I go to the couch and sit down next to her

"Next time you feel the thirst just tell me. You are not back at the castle. I take care of my own" I use my finger and make a small slash on my wrist. Blood slowly started to bleed out.

I raised my wrist to her

Valeri's eyes started to dilate. Her breathing grew harder. And her face was a bit flushed.

Yep. She hasn't had blood in quite a while. Like a dehydrated man had just found water.

I didn't even wait for get to make a choice. I put my wrist in her mouth.

She instinctively bit in and started to drink my blood.

Second by second. I could see she was getting better. Her shoulders relaxed. Her complexion got better.

I'm an idiot for not noticing. She is a Damhir just like Gasper. She doesn't have pale dead skin like Vampires. The only reason she did was because she was malnourished.

They gave her just enough so that she would have 'fuel' for her Sacred Gear.

pop. "Huuuu"

Her lips left my wrist with a small pop. Her face was flushed and she had a satisfied expression on her face.

"Do you feel better?" my words snapped her out of her daze. She quickly blushed all the way to her ears and looked down at her hands. avoiding my eyes. She then realized my question and nodded slightly.

She was very cute. Especially since she was older than me

"I see. If you feel the thirst again just call me" I patted her head and left

She is adorable

My swords picked up on something

I GOT YOU NOW!!

I rushed outside and took to the sky

Obviously, just regular Sensor Swords to pick up the supernatural weren't working. So I made Swords that pick up distorted space. So that means even if someone is invisible. The swords will still pick up on them as they move through the ground or air.

Hiding your Aura won't work anymore. Kuroka and Azazel made me even more paranoid.

My first destination is Kyoto so I can learn Senjutsu.

"So this is where that devil is hiding" one of the hooded figures whispered quietly

"He has been gathering Allies at an alarming rate. He even got the girl we sent an invitation to. Hades-sama orders were to observe only. So we just keep watch and make our report later"

" No. They are about to leave for Kyoto. The other teams will handle it. Let's leav-"

Whoosh

Countless sakura blossoms surrounded them. They were trapped in a sphere made out of them

""What?""

"Interesting. Even this close to you yet I can still not sense your existence. But if you were strong you wouldn't have been caught by a simple trap like this. Making you are weak in strenght and are using some sort of artifact." Isaiah opened up a small arch for himself in the Sakura Sphere.

The Grim Reapers looked at each other and nodded. They both took out their Scyths.

"Ahh that's better. Killing intent. I can't tell where it's from but I know you want to attack me now. Good luck with that"

Strands of Sakura started to leave the sphere. They attacked from all directions, basically forming a grinder inside the sphere"

The Sakura were automatically avoiding Isaiah

(Imagine that they got stuck inside of a Pink Sharp Rasengan xD)

"Fuck this! Let's 'Disperse' out!" One of the Grim Rippers yelled out. He tried to leave using a Teleportation method Unique to Grim Rippers.

"WHY won't IT WORK" The other yelled out as he used his Scythe to defend himself against the Sakura

"Going Somewhere? I already locked the space inside this Sphere. And so kind of you to hit away the Sakura showing where you are" Isaiah smiled but his eyes were colder than the depths of Tartarus.

"You spied on me and my team. Intending to do harm upon us. You brought this to yourselves"

Sword Birth. Kyoka Suigetsu! (since he is already in Balance Breaker.

Using two Zanpaktous started to drain Isaiah's energy levels. But the fight was already over.

The moment they were under the Illusion of Kyoka Suigetsu he released Senbonzakura. But the Grim Reapers were still under the illusion that they were inside the Sakura Sphere.

They both deactivated their artifacts. Showing two cloaked figures waving around Scyths. You could tell by the shape of their heads, they were wearing something underneath the cloak

"Hmmm. Grim Rippers. And based on the Invisibility and Untraceability they showed. They must be wearing Replicas of Hades Cap/Helmet" Isaiah mused to himself

'They definitely have a self-destruct system inside them. Otherwise, Hades would be dead already if he made such a rookie mistake. There is no way to get the Cap. Might as well go all in for his memories'

Isaiah raised his hand and formed a Memory Sword. He guided one of the Grim Reapers a bit further away and made a strong barrier.

I stab one of them in the Head and quickly dash off. Just in time for the explosion to erupt. The Grim Reaper was disintegrated. Nothing remained of him.

The Memory Sword was somewhat charred and it had cracks in it. But it did its function. Not let's see what he knew

I start to read through his memories contained in the sword.

- He got a mission to 'observe' me after my Rating Game

-Hades has been getting reckless

- Lots of 'observation' missions

Hmm, this is interesting. Medusa has respawned in her weakened form and is currently being hunted by Persius's Descendants. For Sport.

That might be interesting to check out. But going to Grece without raising the strenght of my group will be suicidal.

But if I play my hands right. I might get a strong teammate out of it

Whatever. I'll go read the memories of the other one and go home. We need to start packing for Kyoto.
