6 Meeting

When he returned home he found his father looking through some paperwork, meanwhile, his mother was unpacking a few boxes. He walked up to her and smiled "Hey don't worry about it, I got it you go and get some sleep, your shift will start in about 2 or 3 hours right?"

She looked at him with a surprised gaze but smiled and nodded "I take it that you had a good day at school."

Alex laughed and nodded "It sure is interesting, the student council prez hates my guts, then there is a crazy girl in class that asked me the weirdest question."

She smiled and asked "What was the question"

"Umm, actually I prefer not to talk about it, go to sleep I'll keep unpacking."

Sarah nodded and headed to her room, meanwhile, his father sighed and looked at all the paperwork that had to be done.

"Working from home today dad?"

The sleepy man turned around and nodded "Yeah this new job promotion sucks, I might get paid more but when you are trying to get used to all the new rules it turns into a nightmare. I thought that things might be better if I try doing it at home but it's about the same."

Alex laughed and continued putting things where they went, when he was done he made some scrambled eggs and went to his room.

There he laid down and tried to think things through "1) Try to somehow convince Raynare to work together, 2) Survive, and 3) Try to be there to save Issie to earn his trust. Man, it sounds so simple when you put it that way. Well, I at least have an idea that might be possible but it's seriously a long shot."

Alex began unpacking his things and went to bed when he was about halfway done.

The next day he went to classes a bit earlier and found Issie walking with Raynare. He was walking on the other side of the street so he wasn't noticed. During classes, he could hear Issie talking about how they met and his plans for the future.

Alex had to admit that the way that Issei was talking about her annoyed him a bit. The honry teenager could only focus on her body and not once tried to get to know her actual personality. She might be a cold-hearted killer but Issie didn't know that yet.

He was woken up by the lunch bell, as he was standing up he felt a tug on his shoulder. When he turned around he found the brown-haired teen smiling at him "Hey Trey how about I show you the way to the kendo club since I couldn't yesterday."

He remembered his excuse from last time and nodded "Thanks man, I would like that."

As they were walking towards their destination he could tell that the 2 pervert friends of issei seemed to be depressed. He pointed at them and asked, "What's up with these two?"

The brown hair teen gave a wide smile and puffed up his chest "Well the thing is that they are just jealous that I was able to get a girl and they are still single. And get this the best part is that she was the one who asked me hehe."

Alex nodded and thought on the inside 'Right, if only you knew how much you would regret ever knowing her.'

After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at a small building where he could hear the smacking of wood together. "Well dude there you go this is the building, now if you excuse me, we don't really have much interest in a bunch of sweaty dudes."

Alex laughed and waved goodbye as he entered the building. When he was there he followed the smacking noises and arrived at a wide room where there were several people sparring. What surprised him was that there were also girls in there.

He stood on the side and watched their movements and analyzed them, since he had a sword in incursio's sealed form knowing some swordplay wouldn't hurt. He was noticed by one of the guys who separated from his sparring partner and walked towards him.

"Umm hey is there anything that I can help you with?"

"Yeah, I was told that this is where the men's kendo club is, I wanted to give it a shot and see if I can become part of the club."

The armored kid nodded and looked around "Yeah this is the men's team, we were just sparing against the girls to make sure that we keep each other sharp. As for you trying I could let you spar with someone and see if you like it."

Alex nodded and looked around as the kid began taking off his armor, then he handed it to Alex and helped him put it on. Then he was taken to one of the girls and given a stick bat that was supposed to resemble a sword.

He swung it around trying to get used to the weight and once he was ready he tapped it against the ground and began getting closer to his opponent. When the tips of their swords touched she began to charge forward and smack his wrists but he quickly stepped back. He almost immediately countered with a superman punch only that instead of connecting with his fist he hit her in the head with his sword.

He might have gone overboard because he heard the huge SMACK sound that came from the helmet. Everyone froze for a bit and started looking around at where it had come from. He quickly walked to the girl and helped her get up "Are you okay? Sorry about that I didn't know that it would have that much power in it"

The girl shook her head and took his hand and got up "no it's fine, I just wasn't expecting a move like that."

Alex laughed nervously and began taking his helmet off but stopped when he heard someone call out to him. He turned around and found another girl that was walking towards him. "I would like to go against you in a quick match, what do you say?"

He nodded and walked towards her crossing the tips of their wooden swords, this time instead of charging like his other match this girl stayed still and always maintained a certain distance from him.

After a few seconds of stepping forwards and backwards, he got tired and decided to charge in. He could see the girl smiling from the inside of the helmet as she tried stabbing him in the chest using his own momentum.

He used his sword to deflect the stab and made it slip to the right side of his head. After he was inside her reach he gave a swing and hit her in the throat. He made sure to loosen the force so that he wouldn't hit her as hard as he did to the other girl.

Alex took off his helmet and smiled "Nice moves, you nearly got me haha. Looks like I have to work on my patience a bit more."

She nodded and took off her own helmet, he was surprised to see that she was the pink-haired girl from his class. When he turned around at the other one he found her to be her friend with the brown hair.

He scratched his head and smiled nervously "Ummm how's it going, I didn't know that you two were in the kendo club."

Both of them smiled and nodded "Yeah we are. What we didn't expect is that someone as smart as you has such talent with the shinai, have you been part of a team before?"

He looked at her curiously and shook his head "No this is my first time trying something like this. Would you mind explaining what a shinai is though."

They all began laughing and pointed at the sword imitation "That's a shinai."

Alex nodded and began handing the armor back to the kid he borrowed it from "Thanks man, it was fun."

"No problem, so what do you say you wanna join?"

"I would be lying if I said I don't however I want to give some of the other clubs a try. Back in the U.S, I was an MMA fighter and well I would like to continue that but moving here made me curious about the use of weapons."

The kid nodded and gave Alex a quick scan before speaking again, "You know I practice Judo and I was wondering if we could maybe have a little spar."

Alex quickly shook his head "Nah thanks I'm good, last thing I need to do is piss our student council. Then there is also the fact that when I fight I don't hold back."

The guy nodded and brought out his hand "That's a shame, my name is Ito Haru by the way. I hope to see you around here again Trey."

He shook Haru's hand and walked out of the club building. Alex was thinking about trying to find Issei but he changed his mind and decided to find a good spot to lay down. He used his back bag as a pillow and just looked at the sky.

Alex took a deep breath and smelled the air as he watched the clouds "Even if I don't remember my time in the underworld it still seems like it's been a fat time since I just laid down doing nothing."

After a few minutes, he closed his eyes and must have fallen asleep because he heard the bell. "What the hell, 2 hours passed by so quickly?"

He sighed and turned around and was surprised to see a pair of violet eyes staring at him. He quickly regained his composure and smiled at the girl who was laying on her side and using her right hand to support her head "Hey Akeno, how long have you been here?"

She smiled back and stood up "I'm not sure haha, you seemed to be really relaxed so I couldn't help myself."

Alex scratched his head and sighed "Yeah looks like I fell asleep hehe, so did you need something?"

Akeno shook her head and began speed walking away "Nope I just wanted to say hi, if I were you I would hurry up or we will be late for class."

Alex nodded and began running back to his class, when he got there the science teacher was just about to get started with her lesson. He sat down on his seat and gave a little wave as greeting to Murayama and Katase who were smiling at him. He used his arm to raise his head as he looked at the experiment that his teacher was demonstrating.

The bell signaling the end of classes for the day, rang and he began making his way to the highway bridge where Issei and Raynare would always separate from.

After a few minutes of waiting nearby, they appeared walking side by side and after a short conversation they split up leaving Issei jumping up and down from happiness.

Raynare had started walking towards him and when she was about to pass him he walked forward and waived "Umm hi, can I have a word with you for a minute?"

She turned around and looked at him with a bright smile "Huh, are you talking to me."

Alex nodded "Yep you pretty much are the only one here other than all the cars haha. So look I know how weird what I'm about to say is going to sound but I've only seen you a total of 3 times including this one. Anyway, there was something about you that I feel kinda attracts me, not sure what but I was wondering if you would go on a date with me so we can get to know each other a bit better."

Raynare froze for a bit and looked at him with curiosity before answering "Uhhhh, sorry but I already have a boyfriend so I'm afraid that I'm going to have to decline."

He shrugged and shook his head "Yeah Issei is in my class, actually the first time I saw you, you were with him on top of that bridge. Then I saw you walking with him to school, which gave me the hint that you might be dating. I actually just transferred and yesterday was my first day but according to what he's been saying you two only just started dating yesterday at exactly the same moment I saw you so I took it as a sign. Anyway, that bitch only thinks about your body and well forget it, you've made your decision already. I wish you the best of luck and even if it isn't with me, I think that you should find someone that actually tries to get to know the real you."

Alex began walking away but turned around when he heard her reply "What do you mean when you said the real me?"

He looked at her and shrugged "Well I don't really know why but I feel that you are someone that likes to be a little more assertive. That's just the type of vibe I'm getting from you, so when I see how sweet and clumsy you are when you are around with him it kinda bugs me. You shouldn't pretend to be some way you are not just because you want to blend in with the rest. Well, I gotta go, I gave it a shot and got shot down haha, take care."

"No wait, what you said was sweet and... uhhh I guess that a meeting as a friend wouldn't hurt. How about this Sunday?"

Alex nodded "Alright then see ya in two days how about meeting in the town square at 11 am to get a bite to eat and then we could have some fun."

"That sounds great see ya there."

He smiled, turned around, and began walking away, after she was far away he released a deep breath. The whole time they were talking he was prepared to bring out Hanzo at a moment's notice. He made his way home and went over his actions "Well she's interested, hopefully, I didn't make myself a target with that whole, 'I feel that you are someone who likes to be more assertive' shit."

When he got home there was no one there, so he called Hanzo out, "Yes master?"

"Hey Hanzo, sit down and have some soda"

"Soda? Sorry master but I don't know what that is"

Alex nodded "Right I guess you wouldn't, well it never hurts to try, here have some."

The grandmaster took his mask off and took a sip, and put it down. "It's an interesting beverage, sir."

He nodded and served some for himself "If you don't like it then you can just leave it there but if you do don't worry and drink all of it. Well, where do I start, at the moment my family and I are living in the territory of devils with some fallen angels roaming around. I have armor that enhances my body and some fighting skills but I'm in no hurry to test them out against higher beings. That's why my only reliable source of protection at the moment is you, which I can only summon for 4 hours before I have a 12 hour cool down. I figured that I might try to see if I can get one of them to come to my side.

Hanzo took another sip and nodded "I see, may I ask how master wishes to accomplish this?"

"Well I was thinking of seducing one of the fallen angels, the problem is if my plan fails she will try to kill me but I will bring you out before she gets the chance."

The ninja frowned and looked at Alex straight in the eyes, "Excuse my prudence but I'm not too sure if I could beat the fallen angel. It's an existence that I've never actually fought so I must warn you that there is a high risk of failure."

"Yeah I know, but I also have a chain that allows me to trap an opponent. Since she's not a human existence then I assume that the effect of the chain will still work. If not then I will have to put the armor on and run towards the school where the devils have their base. Your job would be to do your best to slow her down, you have the ability to revive and I don't."

Hanzo nodded and finished his whole cup in one gulp "Very well sir, just let me know what I have to do and I'll get it done to the best of my abilities"

Alex smiled "Thanks that means a lot, there actually is something that you could do to help. You see, to actually seduce her I'm going to need some funds which at the moment I don't have. Do you think it's possible that you could get some money from the people outside? After I have more time I'll get myself some income"

The ninja nodded right away and Alex let him borrow some of the clothes of his father. Before Hanzo left he gave another order "Don't take money from people that have kids with them. Oh and make sure not to take all their money, I don't want to have them suffer too much."
