Excalibur (3)

<Third Pov>

Vile who just recently woke up, was now on his way to check up on his new servant sort off.

Vile knocked at the door. Not hearing any response he decided to just enter. And found Osakabehime who was sleeping on the table.

Vile came closer to her and looked at what she had been working on. Only to find spicy doujinshis drawings on the papers.

'*Sigh* Whatever floats your boat I guess.' Vile shook his head as he proceeded to move her to the bed before he left to get ready for school.

"Thank you for agreeing to speak with us today. My name is Xenovia." She introduced herself to the devils.

"And I am Irina Shindo!" Irina did the same, but more energetic than Xenovia.

"This occurrence is fascinating to me as to why, the followers of God. Would want to meet with a devil." Rias eyed them.

"Well we understand it sounds a bit sketchy, but first. Here's the thing. There are a total of six swords in total. Three are still with the church. While the other three were stolen by a group of fallen angels." Irina explained the situation briefly.

"These are the ones we have left, they're made from the original Excalibur." Xenovia showed them her sword. "This weapon is mine. It's called Sword of Destruction."

"And there's this one I have. It's known as holy sword mimicry." Irina also showed hers.

"So what do you want us to do exactly?" Rias still doesn't seem to get it.

"Stay out of it. As this is about between us and the thieves. We don't need the help of devils in this town." Xenovia kept it bluntly as she refused to work with devils.

"That sounded like an accusation, don't you think? Or are you afraid that we would side with the fallen angels to keep you from obtaining the holy swords?" Rias stated.

"Well the holy swords are the bane of devils after all, so it would make sense that you would work with them." Xenovia remains firm in her decision to refuse any aid from the devils.

"If you do work with them... I'll warn you, we'll going to kill you. Even if you are the sister of the great maou." Xenovia said ominously at them.

"Let me get something clear alright? There is no way that I Rias Gremory would do anything that would tarnish the name of the House of Gremory or my brother." Rias said as she was also a proud noble.

"Glad to hear that, I didn't think little sister of the great Lucifer was that stupid if that were the case." Xenovia states.

"Good to know that you understand, but I will also not provide aid to your side as well," Rias said, to keep things fair between their fight. To which Xenovia nodded at her words.

"We won't take up any more of your time."

"Would you like to have some tea before you leave?" Rias offered.

"No thank you. We're not here to make friends with devils after all." Xenovia dismissed themselves, but before they left they heard Akeno who was speaking.

"President, should we also Vile about this?" Akeno asked permission to Rias, this caused Xenovia and Irina who were about to leave stop for a moment.

"Who?" Xenovia looked back and asked curiously, which everyone to flinch except Irina who shared the same curiosity.

"Nothing..." Akeno started to regret speaking before they left.

"The name you said earlier," Xenovia said.

"Vile?" Rias was the one who responded.

"Yes, the full name wouldn't be perhaps Vile Kuzu is it?" Xenovia asks. Which made Rias and Akeno as well as Kiba who was sitting in the corner confused.

"Do you have any sort of connection with him?" Rias asked curiously, as she remembered that Vile used to visit the church back then.

"Yes, in fact, we are friends." Xenovia felt proud, as Vile was one of the few friends she made, the first being Irina.

Rias and her peerage felt even more confused as they were sure that Vile, denied that he had only a few interactions with the church, as they all thought the same "Did he lie to them?".

As they were talking about Vile, coincidentally the man himself knocked on the door.

"Hell-lo?" After Vile entered the room with Asia whom he ran into along the way. He was eyed by everyone as to be expected. But he didn't expect a familiar face to appear once again.

'Irina and Xenovia are here... Wait that means that Dracula-looking fallen angel is coming to town, Kokabiel.'

"Hi, long time no see." I waved at Xenovia and Irina.

"..." The room was silent.

"I didn't expect that you would settle in this town Vile-kun." Irina was the one who broke the silence.

"Well, there are many empty houses for sale in this town, so I decided to settle down," I gave them an honest answer because there was an unusually high number of houses up for sale.

"The house where I am currently staying was previously owned by the Shidou family," I explained.

"Huh, really you lived there? Then why didn't you tell me about it? If you live just a few houses apart from mine?" Issei asked.

"Why would I?" I answered him with a frank expression as I did not see any reason to disclose that information to him.

"Oh come on man I thought we were bros." Issei nudged my side. Which earned him a slap from me to his forearm. Which caused his arm to sting.

'You're acting very gay bruh.' I thought as I looked at Issei. 'Usually, Issei would think all day about boobs.' I wondered what changed him. '

"Besides that-" I was cut off by Rias.

"By the way Vile-kun. Akeno and I had experienced a strange thing, whenever we knocked at your door." Rias and Akeno were curious as to what phenomena they had experienced.

"What do you mean?" I shrugged it and decided to play dumb.

"Why did you move to Japan Vile?" Xenovia who was listening to them silently all this time, asked curiously.

"Isn't that obvious?" I looked at her.

"What is it?" She looked confused.

'It's the land anime and God damn waifus!' I screamed internally. 'And the plot too. I guess.'

"Well, you'll need to figure it out on your own." Vile chooses not to tell her because he feels embarrassed about it.

"And lastly. Why didn't you say anything to me when you were leaving?" Xenovia was a little upset with Vile for not informing her before moving out.

"Hey! I thought that you didn't have any connections with the church." Kiba walked in front of me, looking confused.

"I don't understand what you are trying to say." I had question marks on my head as to what was going on in Kiba's head. And I thought, that his 'destroy all Excalibur' brain was acting up again.

Kiba calmed his horses down, he remembered to always keep calm in situations, as being calm worked when he was against Freed Sellzen.

"Let me rephrase that. I didn't think you knew anyone from Vile Church." "Kiba regained his composure."

"Well I did spend a few days there, so I was bound to somewhat have made some connections," I state the obvious.

"I see..."

"Well enough about me. Why are you two here?" I faced the two exorcists, well even though I already knew what they were here for.

Irina shared with us the reason behind their visit to Kuoh.

"Just you two?" I was starting to realize what the church was trying to do.

'The Church is getting rid of them. How can they possibly fight Kokabiel, a fallen angel with ten wings?'

"Yes." The two of them said.

"You're that confident you would win, against someone who, literally stole three Excaliburs right in front of the church?"

"That..." Xenovia was starting to understand that, they were up against someone who had the capability of stealing something in a place where it was most "secured".

"Want me to help?" I tried to offer them some hand.

"That would be great! If Vile-kun were to help us." Irina deep knows that the two of them are not enough, so she tries to persuade Xenovia about it. But was denied as Xenovia didn't want to work with devils.

"If you help us, wouldn't that mean that you are working with the church?" Xenovia said.

"No? nah not really. After all, I'm just defending the town I'm in." I wanted to make sense. But in reality, he just wanted to show off to the fallen angel and the spectators.

'On the other hand... I don't remember Cockabel being defeated.' I thought to myself about how they managed to win the fight.

"Alright then," Xenovia states, that she and Irina were about to leave when they caught sight of Asia.

"Aren't you Asia Argento?" Xenovia looked at the Asia.

"Um, yes I am." Asia was fidgeting as she was the topic now.

"It would make sense that I would run into a witch in this place..." Xenovia, eyed Asia who was once affiliated with the church, is now playing with devils.

I decided to let the two cook for a moment.

"I recognize you. You are the former saint who became a witch, banished from the church for healing fallen angels and devils. That's correct, isn't it?" Asia was shaken at her words. "I didn't know you would turn into a devil yourself." Irina ended.

"Well-. I guess so." Asia grew anxious to answer.

"Hey." I looked at the two of them.

"Let me get some things clear. So Asia was kicked out from the church just because she healed a devil?" I ask as I don't have a full context as to how Asia was banished in the first place.

"Yes, She did, just for that reason alone she betrayed the church," Xenovia answered.

"Why?" That sounds unreasonable though.

"Doesn't her ability, the sacred gear she has, is made by YOUR God?" I questioned them.

"Yes? What are you implying?" Xenovia curiously asks.

"Doesn't that mean that YOUR God made it that way?" My reason sounds reasonable as Big G in this world was the one who made it after all. So them banishing Asia is just plain brain-dead. They could've kept a sacred gear wielder at their disposal, especially a healer! And I should also consider the possibility that there may have been someone with motives driving the situation.

"What?" The two of them also realized that fact just now and finally woke up. If they wronged Asia for having the ability to heal Fallen Angels or Devils, wouldn't that also mean that they also wronged God?

"What, is something started to make sense?" I asked. The two also were confused as to why I was defending her.

"And another thing, that I should mention to you. I was the one who made Asia become a devil." I clarified that fact if they might misunderstood some things.

"But you're human Vile, not to mention isn't she with the House of Gremory now?" Irina spoke up.

"That's because I asked Rias to revive Asia who was attacked by fallen angels," I answered her. 'Annnd it was somewhat part of my fault for stalling, leading to her death so yeah... If only I'd gotten my 'Thou Shalt Not Die' skill, I wouldn't even asked Rias in the first place.

"So would that answer your question?" I told them.
