"Ha~ Why the fuck do I have to get the groceries?", Rihito sighed as he walked in the road. He was in a bad mood because he had to get the groceries which his mother left on the shop.
He crossed the road and went towards the shop. He took his groceries and thanked the shop-keeper.
As he was crossing the road, A high-speed truck hit him. His blood splattered across the road as the street were filled with screams.
And, thus Rihito a normal weeb died but little did he knew his real life has yet to begun.

Rihito opened his 'eyes' and he found himself in absolute darkness. Not a single of ray light reaching the vast darkness.
'I died huh. Such a shitty death.'
Rihito was unusually calm right now and even he did not knew the reason.
He after dying had not freaked out once nor was he having a mental breakdown.
Strange.
After some time, Rihito had found some things about this place which he decided to name 'Void'.
How original~
Rihito had found out that he did not possess any physical feature right now. To be more specific he was a right now levitating in the Void.
Time passed as Rihito grew more bored.
"Argggggggh. Isn't death supposed to be the eternal rest? Why the fuck is this so boring?"
Rihito screamed in frustration and asked to no one.
But contrary to his expectation he got one.
"Well it was supposed to be but you as have been killed by truck-kun have been chosen to reincarnate"
As soon as the voice finished speaking. The scenery changed and Rihito now was sitting in front of a old man with gray hair. He was wearing a pair of glasses and had long white bread.
Rihito could again feel his body.
He thought of screaming and dancing but denied as he wanted to act civilized infront of what he presumed to be the god.
"Are you the god?", Rihito said with a polite voice and respectful manner.
"Well you can call me one"' the god said and continued, "I will go direct to the topic. I am gonna give you a chance to reincarnate"

"Well you can call me one. I will go direct to the topic. I am going to give you a chance to reincarnate"
Reincarnation?
Now that I think about it, I died by getting hit by a truck and a literal god comes and says he is going to give me chance to reincarnate.
Doesn't this happens in fan-fics and Isekai light novels?
But why the hell am I so strangely calm?
"Rihito", the god says and I come out of my internal monologue.
"Yes god. I wish to be reincarnated. But can I ask you one question"
The god smiles, "I am happy that you choose to get reincarnated. Yes you can."
"Will I reincarnate in Earth or in some kind of fantasy world"
"Well, You will reincarnate in the world of DxD. And yes all the fictions are reality in some kind of alternate universe so please don't ask me questions about it"
So Anime worlds exist? It isn't too surprising. I mean I am sitting in front of a god.
But....DxD? Won't I die there? I mean that world is broken.
"Don't worry Rihito. I will give you a special power so if you work hard enough you will most likely won't die there" , The god said reading my mind.
Wait? He can read mind?
"That's a stupid question to ask Rihito. Of course I can. I am the god."
Yeah that was a stupid question to ask.
"So what power will you give me?"

"It's a quite powerful ability called [Plunder]. You can well plunder sacred gears but-"
Holy shit that's so cool and Op. Hahahaha I'ma take every sacred gear and be op as fuck.
The god then continued, "There are some certain rules though"
Wait? What? Don't be some bullshit rules like I can only plunder one sacred gear.
"Don't worry Rihito. It won't be something like that."
"So what will be the rules god?", I asked the god mentally saying 'Please don't be some nerfs'
"The rules are--", He snapped his finger and a blue screen appeared in front of me. There were some rules there.
1) You can only plunder the sacred gears by killing the host or asking for their consent.
2) If the sacred gear is a sentient being or has any kind of consciousness. You can only plunder the sacred gear if the gear itself allows you to.
3) The amount of Sacred gear you can plunder depends on the strength of your body. So work hard in physical aspect as well.
At least it's not a serious nerf or something.
But I have one important question to ask.
"How will I know whether someone posses a sacred gear or not and how will I know how many sacred gears I can take in?"
"Don't worry about these things. You will know after you reincarnate there.So now tell me what appearance you want and where you wanna reincarnate."
What? He is gonna even let me choose my appearance and where I wanna reincarnate? He is the best god ever. (The god smiles at this)
"Then Can you just make me a little taller and muscular. Oh also give me white hair. They are badass. For my birth place I wanna reincarnate in Kuoh the place where main plot of DxD takes place."
"Okay I will do that and what about your age?"
Hmm what should I say I can reincarnate way before the plot and make myself stronger and when plot comes I can survive or I can reincarnate way after the plot and just chill while collecting sacred gears.
Nah nah I have a way better alternative. I will just reincarnate as one year older than Issei this might make me weak when the plot comes around but this will increase my chance of survival as I know the plot way too well.
"I want to reincarnate a year older than Issei and can I ask you something?"
"Okay I will do that. Yeah you can", The god said.
"What will happen if I change my race? Like joined a peerage or became angel or something like that?"
The god smiled and said, " Don't worry even if you change your race your ability won't disappear. Now bye I hope you have a good life and I don't see you too quickly"
And I blacked out.
My life in DxD has begun.
