55 Bloodthirsty Beasts II
Not too far away from that location, in Hokkaido, at the edge of the mountain, an important meeting was taking place at a prominent restaurant.
There was a strong cold breeze in the middle of the night as a certain boy with silver hair looked at the horizon through the window, feeling something eerie.
On the top floor of this restaurant, there was a big black marble table in the middle of the room where five individuals were sitting.
In the middle was the boy with silver hair carelessly putting his foot on top of the table as if this was some run-down slum.
To his right was a gorgeous black-haired woman in a golden black kimono who seemed to be giggling for some reason.
To his left, there was a man in armour who resembled a monkey, holding a staff and yawning in boredom while at the furthest end sat two blonde western-looking individuals, one polishing his sword and the other loli beauty, reading a book, floating on top of her chair.
This was the 'Vali Team' of the Khaos Brigade and they were waiting for someone to attend this impromptu meeting.
"Are you looking at something nya?~" (Kuroka)
"No, it is just... it feels like there is a predator nearby" (Vali)
"*sniff* *sniff* Now that you say it, I think I can smell that too..." (Bikou)
"It must be your imagination. This is Hokkaido, you won't find peaceful spots like this anywhere else in Japan. Time here technically goes twice as slow as anywhere else!" (Le Fay Pendragon)
"No, you're wrong, Le Fay. I can feel it too... deep in that gigantic mountain there is a bloodthirsty beast ready to be slain" (Arthur Pendragon)
[A dragon's instincts never lie, Vali. There is someone strong around this mountain and they're quite ominous too, it is not some knight of calvary and values... it is a mindless creature, no... there are three of them... an insectoid male, a hybrid girl... and a tall female monster. Hard to tell who is more dangerous but if I had to say... the girl].
A draconic voice spoke out loud, gaining everyone's attention.
"Three? it is more than I thought, just how I like them, Albion~"

The door burst open and a group of individuals entered the room, taking a seat on the opposite side of the table one by one. There were five of them all looking at the opposite team with a sort of pride that caused an ick of challenge.
"I didn't think you'd arrive early, talk about shock" The leader of the opposite side was a man wearing purple robes, holding alongside him a long spear that wouldn't leave his grasp no matter what. More than him, the presence of that spear was even more prominent.
He was the leader of the 'Hero Faction' Cao Cao. And sitting next to him individuals that could only be labelled as legends: Heracles, Perseus, Jeanne D' Arc and Georg.
"I thought this fellow had died back then nya~ didn't the nine-tailed fox slice your head?~" Kuroka threw the first arrow albeit unintentionally at Georg, the latter merely grunted and decided to ignore her.
"Dimension Lost saved him but that's beyond the point" Cao Cao stated with a frown.
"You kept that one quiet though" Vali smirked.
"I figured since we're to ally, there shouldn't be lies, don't you think? Now that we're all here, should we start discussing the Shinto Faction?" He wanted to get to the core of the deal but he wasn't going to be let off easily, especially when all factions in Khaos Brigade were downright antagonistic to one another.
"What is there to discuss? you teased the fox and now that she's bearing her fangs, you're too afraid to come out, Cao Cao?~"
"Shut up, Vali... I don't remember you and I having that sort of relationship for you and me to be joking with one another".
"Who said this is a joke? Now that you can't deal with Yasaka alone, you come here asking for help?".
"We're all members of Khaos Brigade, isn't it normal that we help one another. Today you help me, tomorrow I help you".
'I don't think I'll ever need your help though' Vali sighed but they had all decided to participate in this terrorist group for different reasons, the 'leader' wouldn't be happy if he refused to cooperate.
"Well, then what can you tell me about Yasaka? why has she suddenly become a problem? has she unified the two Youkai factions?"
"No, she hasn't done it yet".
"Then why is she giving you trouble to the point of running?" He smirked, throwing another jab.
"... Yasaka has become considerably stronger compared to three years ago. She has evolved from a nine-tails into a ten-tails. It may not sound as much but her firepower alone has enhanced enough to make me fear her" Cao Cao admitted casting aside his pride.
"...?" Vali frowned, if this man went so far as to admit fear, then the situation was serious.
"A year ago she discovered one of our headquarters in one of the islands in Daito".
"And? she led a horde of Youkai to the island?"
"No, Vali. She obliterated the whole island on her own".

It was this, this detail alone that made him put his legs down from the table with a serious expression. The island of Daito was at least ten square kilometres in diameter. For it to be completely destroyed, just how strong was that attack? the thought alone raised Vali's hairs.
"Then how are you alive nya?" Kuroka inquired.
"Because despite her growth in strength, she's still naive and decided to evacuate everyone from the island secretly. We thought it was suspicious and evacuated as well... only to see how a pillar of golden flames obliterated the island from the horizon. If she hadn't evacuated... perhaps there were even more civilians in there, but she didn't care at all".
"How do you know that was Yasaka?"
"Because we saw her true form concealed in the clouds. She looked way bigger and more intimidating. Since then, every time she's known or heard even about our location she would indiscriminately destroy everything in her path".
"That's as if-"
*BANG!*
Cao Cao's fist crashed against the marble table, shattering it like it was glass with apparent wrath flashing in his eyes.
"That bitch is doing that deliberately, trying to draw me into a one-on-one duel".
"I never knew that Cao Cao was a coward that concealed himself from an honourable duel"
This time it wasn't Vali who threw the jab, it was Arthur with his characteristic disdain. Instead of feeling offended, Cao Cao laughed it off.
"Did you ever think the legendary Cao Cao was a fool who would willingly go to a fight he knew he'd lose? I'm not stupid, Yasaka is stronger than me... her power should have reached the realm of a minor deity".
"And that's not all... there is also that Egyptian Goddess" Jeanne added with crossed arms.
"I have heard of her, the one from the incident three years ago? is she working with Yasaka?"
"We don't know yet but they should still be in Japan and they haven't gotten in contact with us, it is only fair to assume she and the boy have contacted Yasaka instead, they wouldn't just let them. Of course, there is also the possibility they have already left Japan, we haven't heard anything about them since... Anubis and Osiris".
"I was even thinking of calling the Old Satan Faction... but considering how much of a weakling they are, I thought they wouldn't be of much help anyway" Cao Cao shrugged in disdain.
"Sounds interesting. I'll help but I want something in exchange" Vali smirked.
"What is it?"
"I want to fight Yasaka one-on-one~"
"As expected of you battle maniac, do whatever you want but don't blame me if you die".
"A dragon against a legendary ten-tailed fox. If I remember correctly, the last one of such was the fallen Japanese Goddess Inari... don't you think that would be quite an interesting fight?"
"Do whatever you want, we will be ready to finish her once she's done with you. The plan is the following: a month from now Yasaka should be making her advance towards Tokyo to take down Nurarihyon, when both of them are fighting each other that will be our moment to strike".
"What a cowardly plan" Vali huffed.
"Or you can go to her shrine in Kyoto through the front gate and get massacred by the West Youkai Faction, Yasaka and the Onmyouji all working together. Your call Vali Lucifer, you serve as a distraction works for me anyway".
"As if, we will stick to your plan... bring the food, I'm hungry" Bikou licked his lips only to notice a small detail.
"And where are we supposed to eat nya? this barbarian destroyed the table nya!~"
