Purifying bloodline

After our talk, we went to the dining room. She tried keeping up a strong front at least in front of her family I think. Now she just looked a little tired but her hair was back to the shiny red she used to have and her eyes had more light in them. There I was told that everyone was waiting. Even Asia.

Around a giant table there were the members of the ORC , with Sizerchs, a little boy with red hair and red eyes, Grayfia always in her maid uniform, a middle-aged, handsome looking man with long crimson hair that was tied in a loose ponytail with a black hairband and blue eyes. The last one was his wife I guess. She was very similar to Rias shorter flaxen hair and violet eyes. The moment they saw Rias she was surrounded. I guess she was not joking when she said they were something a clan with a lot of love or something like that. While I was thinking that, I was crowded by the others too. Asia jumped in my chest, making me earn a glare from Akeno. Kiba and Koneko came too.

"Whoa. Careful there. I was told that you were hurt. Are you really okay?" While talking I analyzed her body with my ki and made my life energy flow in her body just to be sure. In that moment she glowed golden and everyone was looking her surprised.

"Haru-san? Did you just heal me? Thank you very much." And she started squeezing me again. I was going to get stabbed by Akeno if this kept going. I let her do it though. I owe it to her and to my friends too. My sudden disappearance must have worried them.

"I do not remember you being able to do that." While smiling Kiba inquired. "I did not know that you were that strong too. Did you gain a sudden power up or you were just hiding it?"

"I was recovering, not hiding. I am some sort of senjutsu user, as you could guess from the touki mastery I had." He nodded at my words." Some time before I encountered you guys my spiritual sense got hurt and I could not feel or manipulate ki anymore. I recovered just before I had to escape. I cannot say why, but believe me when I say that it was a good reason."

I did not say anything to them, since Sizerchs was trying to bury the accident. It would not help his friend Ajuka's reputation if a member of his family was discovered working with the terrorists. When he saw that I did not say anything, he nodded toward me. Just with that, they guessed it was somewhat a secret so they did not ask me anymore about that.

"I can do a lot with my ki. From healing body and spirit to manipulating space and flames. You too were stronger than before Kiba. What was that sword? I see a new member in the peerage too."

"Ah, that was my balance breaker. The evolution of my sacred gear. This is Xenovia Quarta, the user of the holy sword Durandal and our new knight."

"Nice to meet you, Quarta-san. I am Kurokawa Haru a human friend of the ORC 's member here."

"Oh. You don't need to call me Quarta, just Xenovia is fine. Nice to meet you too."

In the meantime Rias had ended her meeting with her family. She was red like a tomato.

"Nice to meet you Kurokawa Haru. I am Zeoticus Gremory. Welcome to the Gremory House." The middle aged red haired man said.

"Nice to meet you too, Gremory-sama. Thanks for having me over. " I bowed a little my body, trying to reproduce the nobility greetings from the movies.

"Ah, you don't need to bow. I am Venelana Gremory, Rias's mother, by the way. Thank you for bringing her outside her room." She said.

"Right. Thank you for bringing her outside. " The little boy thanked me too.

"Millicas!" Rias was at the apex of embarrassment, I think. She sure is loved.

"Nice to meet you. I am Millicas Gremory, son of Sizerchs Lucifer and Grayfia Lucifuge. " He said.

"Nice to meet you too. Thank for you hospitality everyone. "I thanked them again.

After some formality, we got to eat. After lunch I was in a room with Akeno and Rias. I was finally going to help them grow stronger. Thanks to my cultivation and Vali's body forging I did before, I was able to discover that the humans and devils body was pretty much similar apart for the difference in power and hardness of bone and muscle. The important similarity was on the meridians still clogged on the body. They had too 8 meridians like me to unclog. Judging by the analysis I did of Vali's body and my knowledge about western and chinese medicine I can say that just by unclogging the meridians I should be able to help them grow at least to a 8 winged devil and fallen angel.

"Now I am going to help you become stronger." I said. " But I need you to stay put. Even if your body hurts you need to maintain your concentration on the demonic power inside your body. You need to keep it from reacting to the energy I am about to make flow inside your body. Normally it would not react, but this time I am going to touch your meridians, so it's going to react involuntarily. Well then, let's start with you Rias."

"Okay." She said. But I could see she did not feel sure about this. I put my hands on her back and let my golden ki flow inside her body. Once I covered her body with my ki, I connected my vision to the ki inside her body to make a precise scan of her body. Once I found her first meridian I unclogged it immediately without resistance, the second one was resisting with much more vehemence. She managed barely to control her demonic power from clashing with my ki and so the second one was cleansed too. After that it was impossible to cleanse any other meridian without crippling her from the clash.

In that moment when I stopped purifying her 2 meridian, her body started releasing great quantities of black substance. Her skin was peeling, her bones seemed to crack and even the muscles seem to squirm under her body. From her back another pair of wings appeared too. She was a four winged devil now. Akeno seemed really worried about her friend, but she decided to believe me and wait. After one hour she had managed to complete her marrow washing. I guess it's a natural reaction since it's the first time she is doing this.

After that I scanned Akeno too, but I could only purify her fallen angel bloodline. It seems like reincarnated devils are a little different. Must be the influence of the evil piece, but I feel that if I try to tinker with that I may do more damage than help. I did not know how to say her this. She did not seem to like her fallen angel part.
