2 Chapter 2 - If I Made It, It's Mine and Therefore Real

Standing up from my tumb- ...Superhero landing I was a bit disoriented. Looking around I found myself in a forest clearing cased in by trees that covered the sky casting a shadow onto the ground with the sun just barely peeking through the leaves. Slightly to the side was a small pond, looking a bit like it was sparkling thanks to the sun. Feeling a bit like I just woke up for some reason, I took a deep breath which cleared my mind.

Now then, Outer God Bro or OGB didn't really tell me where it would send me, I sort of figured I would end up somewhere a bit weirder I mean don't get me wrong, I prefer something familiar but, you know, OGB didn't really strike me as someone who would take a relaxing stroll through the forest. I didn't really see anything I would associate with higher beings either, the only thing that struck me as odd was that everything was pretty big compared to what I was used to.

Oh well, time to set off. Taking my first step in my new world I kicked the back of my other foot and stumbled, faceplanting into the ground with a 'peh'.

"..."

After just laying there for a few moments I push myself onto my knees which are much smaller now that I look at them, and not just my knees, my whole body feels like it just shrunk. Blinking in confusion at my newest conundrum I start sort of flailing my whole body to get a feel for it and yep, I shrunk. Well, I already have a solution ready for just this situation, to the pond!

Standing up again, slowly this time, I make my way over. I wasn't going to be winning any golden medals but I got there eventually.

---

Stood at the bank of the pond staring back at me was a lightly tanned little girl that I'd guesstimate to be around 11 years old. She had wild red hair that was sort of flaring out to the sides and the back. Her piercing eyes were a fiery red and slightly slanted, combined with angular red eyebrows she looked very menacing, although that was slightly offset by her chubby cheeks. She was wearing a white muscle-shirt and what looked to be a pair of very sturdy dark brown suspender pants with alot of pockets that looked to be a cross between something I imagine a blacksmith would wear and military cargo pants. On her hands she had black fingerless gloves stopping at her wrists and on her feet she had a pair of robust boots with steel toes.

"You know OGB I know you're not big on genders and stuff but I thought you were supposed to be all-knowing or something."

Turning on the spot I looked over my new appearance. To be honest I never really cared much about the whole gender situation in my old world, it's not like my gender was gonna determine how much money I could snatch in a day, right? Although I did know that girls had some advantages, but men did too, it evened out in my eyes. Eventually I just shrugged. Time to get out of here, my control over my body had already reached the point where it felt natural.

"Well, new world, new life and all that. Actually, maybe OGB sent me to a world that only had females and had to change my gender to blend in? Or maybe Outer Gods liked pranks as well, it could also be bec-"

---

A few hours later, I stood on a hill overlooking what looked like to be medium sized city, there wasn't really alot I could glean just from standing here but it didn't have any eldritch constructions or spawn pools so... I guess I landed in a world somewhat similar to my previous one. Though before I go looking for my paradise, I should probably take a look at what OGB gave me.

Rooting through my many pockets I eventually found what I was looking for, it looked sort of like a white organic energy construct in an oval shape containing something that resembled... Um... I don't really know. The closest comparison I could give was that it looked like what I think a slime's nucleus would look like, just yellow and sort of ethereal looking, like it wasn't really there, but there at the same time.

In other words it looked like the funkiest egg in the world.

Following the instructions OGB left in it's last message I slowly clenched my hand around the egg until it started giving way and a slit opened on it's side like it was cut. After squeezing it a bit more the slime nucleus looking core kind of just oozed out and zoomed into my body. Waiting for a few seconds for anything to happen I was a bit disappointed when nothing changed.

"Well, I guess hoping to see my super awesome aura of awesomeness to generate around me and start flaring like I was going Super Saiyan was a bit of a stretch, but come on~"

Going back to comb through the information packet on Sunat's OGB sent me through talking, I learned a bit more of how they worked. Some were just like receiving the instinctive knowledge of 'You can now do this' while others had to be activated manually, guess this is one of the latter ones.

Feeling around a bit I could somewhat trace back the connection with my Sunat to where the [Lord of Metal and All it's Creations] resided. So... this is what my soul feels like, huh? It's kinda boring to be honest. It's like feeling something that was always there with the familiarity that came with it having always been a part of me, it's kinda comfy actually, like my body was always covered in a soft blanket of immaterial warmth.

Now, let's see here~

Hmm~

There you are!

Poking my new Sunat into wakeness, I also told it how I would like to receive the information on what it could do, I decided that I wanted it in the form similar to my mental blueprints, since it was something I was familiar with.

A few minutes later, a new information packet arrived into my mental library of blueprints, opening it brought up another mental window with the information.

[If I Made It, It's Mine and Therefore Real - (Workshop)]

Effect: All crafters have a space they prefer, no? Unfortunately most can't bring it with them everywhere. Well this is the solution to your problem. With this ability you can enter a virtual Workshop which you can style as you want. Anything created in this Workshop you can store in a separate Warehouse Space, creations stored in the Warehouse Space can be superimposed unto reality as a solid energy construct and controlled at will.

Drawback: A real crafter creates everything they use, your Workshop starts with nothing but traditional tools no more complicated than a hammer.

"..."

"That! Is! So! Awesome!"

I did not spend the next few minutes celebrating my new power, and definitely did not jump and shout on the spot... That would be childish...

I didn't dance either...
