27 Chapter 26

Zadkiel flashed into appearance at the outskirts of the future Babylonian Gods abode. He then searched with his powers and saw that the Gods are busy fighting against the monsters created by Tiamat but Marduk is mowing them down and he knew that he had to work fast if he wishes to save the Primordial Goddess.

"This is a good chance for me to sneak in." Zadkiel said to himself as his body glowed.

Then his body became small and stopped glowing to reveal that he had turned into a white eagle. He then flew at mach speeds and due to his decreased size he had managed to go past the fighters undetected as he used their clash of power as a shield to block himself from view.

He had to maneuver a bit but he didn't use most of his powers and just used his physical abilities to go towards his goal. He managed to go past the monsters undetected and managed to reach the abode of Tiamat where he stopped to look at the large mother goddess of the Babylonian Gods.

He recognised the divinity in front of him as he gazed at the dragonic being in front of him. However compared to Abzu her form couldn't be called as Divine, but rather as Demonic in nature. Her large horns, sharp teeth, terrifying wings have her the appearance of a monster more than a goddess.

She has large wings with blades at the edges, clawed frontal limbs, with her legs being tentacle like instead of a dragonic one, with a large tail alongside her hair which is rising to the air. All the while standing in the middle of a very large pool or ocean of black mud which is spawning monster after monster which is attacking the Gods. (A/N: Basically, Fate Tiamat, Dragonic Corpus)

"She really is the mother of the Gods." Zadkiel said as he looked at the amount of monsters being formed one after the other.

'But Marduk and the other Gods are most likely to reach her so I must defeat her fast.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he glowed.

Then he returned to his original self as Tiamat noticed him alongside the monsters. She roared at him and the monsters, ranging from demonic birds to beasts attacked him, with the ground forces using ranged attacks.

"Alright, I'm on a time limit so I must do this fast." Zadkiel said to himself as he created chakrams.

Then he threw them at great speeds which sliced through the demonic birds and hit the beasts and causing destruction. But he wasn't done and created a great amount of light spears and attacked the ground. The spears hit the mud and Tiamat as she created to shield to protect herself as an explosion ensued due to the power behind his attack.

"Not enough." Zadkiel said before he created a light shield in front of him.

The next second an attack came from the smoke in the form of a very large black red beam of energy which hit the shield and sent Zadkiel a bit back. But his eyes widened when cracks started to appear on the shield.

'Yep, definitely stronger than Gaia.' Zadkiel thought to himself as the cracks grew.

The excess energy from the attack was falling all over the place destroying more of the mud and the monsters but Tiamat didn't seem to care as she kept up the attack. Zadkiel's shield was fully cracked by now but he didn't seem deterred as he held on and soon after the attack stopped.

Zadkiel looked at the Goddess to see her cross eyes looking straight at him as he smirked in anticipation.

'She's really strong.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he made the shield disappear.

Then he extended his arm forward and snapped his fingers and the next moment time stopped in its place and Tiamat was also stopped as he smiled. But that smile vanished when she started to slowly move before crying out again surprising him a bit.

'She isn't a Deity of Time yet she was able to ignore it. That means as a Primordial Goddess, the concept of time doesn't have much of a hold on her.' Zadkiel thought to himself as his eyes glowed.

He saw a kind of aura around the Goddess which seems to be protecting her as he saw it. Then he saw energy being gathered at her eyes, mouth, wing blades and horns as he realized what she is about to do.

'A full assault!' Zadkiel thought to himself as he got ready.

Then the attack came as he created twin blades made of Primordial Crystal, then the blades became segments and turned into Chain Sword which he imbued with his power before using them to attack. He used them to create a barrier of sorts around him as the attacks all converged there.

The same thing as before happened as the attack was sent around as it further destroyed the place as the last of the mud and monsters were done as the place was filled with explosions from the power of her attacks. But he stayed strong until she stopped as he also stopped his attacks as the two swords became normal swords again.

"Aaaaahhhhhh!" [Eneeemyyyy] Tiamat screamed as he narrowed his eyes.

'So she sees me as her enemy. Makes sense, it's a good thing that I can actually understand her due to my ability to understand any language.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he got ready.

But he was caught off-guard when she released a large amount of her power which enveloped the entire space and he watched as the space around him started to warp. He immediately created a shield around himself to protect from any unexpected attacks that she might use on him.

Tiamat roared as the place was filled with light again as he didn't close his eyes and his eyes widened when he saw the place change into what appeared to be a very turbulent sea. But the difference was that the sea seemed to contain some form of divinity.

'Did she create a pocket dimension and brought me here?' Zadkiel thought to himself as he looked at the place before looking at Tiamat.

She is standing in the middle of the water as she is looking at him and roared and then the water rose and came towards him. But he wasn't deterred in the slightest and when the water almost reached him he flapped his wings and created a great wind which sent the water back. Then he shot towards Tiamat as she roared as he sent a punch imbued with his power as she formed a shield in front of her.

The result was a violent shake of the place from the clash of both powers as the water was shaken and the sea became more turbulent while the shield made my Tiamat have a great amount of cracks. But to his surprise she gathered energy in her mouth and shot it at him destroying the shield and enveloped him as well.

But he came out of the beam smoking a bit but that didn't bother him much as he looked at the Primordial Goddess.

"Goddess Tiamat, I am sorry to say this but I must defeat you here and now." Zadkiel said as he raised his hand and thousands of chains made of holy imbued salt appeared and wrapped around the Goddess as she roared.

He narrowed his eyes as after a few seconds the chains started to crack and then she gathered her powers and sent a shockwave which greatly damaged the chains before she destroyed them.

Then she glared at Zadkiel as he also got ready. She roared as he shot towards her as he spun in the air and gathered his holy-light power in his right leg and sent a kick as she shot another beam of energy as both powers clashed and shook the place.
