23 The last stand

Seated on his throne, Gold relaxed there with his eyes closed. He was resting before the calamity that he knew was approaching, arrived. He had two options before him, leave and risk being found by others that he knew existed in the multiverse, or face the overpowered leviathan. He was more afraid of the possibilities that awaited him if he were to leave. At the very least, he wanted to put up a fight before being forced to leave.

The entire space that contained his cloud district was his real workshop. Everything within this world was powered by the Eye of Magnus. It was in this world that he was undoubtedly at his strongest. Thousands of atronachs and other beasts roamed the ground. hundreds of dragons watched the skies. In this world, others would not be able to exert their power without his permission, he was the sole ruler. Yet despite all this, he didn't feel very confident.

He didn't have a good idea of how strong Serafall actually was at the moment. He didn't even know how strong a Satan actually was, let alone one that was 5x more powerful in every way.

*TEAR sfx* His eyes snapped open as they registered a tear in space near the ground. Gold narrowed his eyes at the fact that she was strong enough to even force her way into his world, despite the barrier being powered by the Eye of Magnus.

"So You've come, Serafall Leviathan!" His voice resounded throughout every corner of the world. Of course it also reached the intruding Serafall as she looked up to him with her signature smile.

"Yes~ You know it's rude to leave a girl like that. You hurt my feelings you know, but it's okay. I forgive you~" She said as she shot a kiss his direction.

"Serafall, think very carefully about this. I am human, even if we got together I would be dead within a few decades." Gold still tried to reason, hoping for an alternative solution.

"Don't worry! I still have seven pawn pieces! Now come down from there BeFOrE I BReAk All YoUR bOnES aND dRaG yOu DOwN ThERe MYsElF." Her voice distorted at the end, yet Gold didn't bother to comment on it.

He rose up from his grand throne and directed his gaze down from the edge of his floating island. His eyes exuded golden rays for all to see. His scaled armor made him look more intimidating as he gripped a staff that only the people of Skyrim would recognize as the Staff of the Evil Lord Aversis. In reality it was just the Staff of Magnus, it strengthened the connection between him and the Eye of Magnus.

"You leave me no choice. Serafall Leviathan, you are tresspassing on my Kingdom. The Cloud District does not welcome you." Gold's voice was calm, as if just stating a fact.

"Kingdom?" Serafall placed a finger below her lips in thought until she smiled. "If you're the King, then doesn't that make me the Queen then?!" She seemed to be infatuated with the idea as she blew over his serious decree.

"Woman I am a single independent baddass who don't need nobody tying me down!" He retorted as he was into casual relationships, possibly even sex friends.

"Well maybe we could take turns tying eachother down~?" She responded keeping her smile as he rolled his eyes.

"Just... ATTACK DAMN IT!" He finally lost his composure as he roared his command for his atronachs to engage the intruder.

*HOWL sfx*

In front of the army of atronachs, I watched Vordt lead the charge with a bestial howl. Yeah, I still kept him around after catching him in Dark Souls.

Not gonna lie, I'm actually sweating a little. Judging from the fact that she's not immediately flying up to me, it probably means that her demonic power is suppressed. Excellent, but the thousands of atronachs won't be enough to take her down even if they are constantly being re-summoned.

She isn't intimidated at all from the approaching horde despite being powerless. My pupils constrict at the sight of Vordt's head getting ripped off his body. What the hell?! I didn't even see her move, how fast is this girl!?

"DRAGONS!" I called out to the flocks, commanding them to rain down breaths from a distance.

By R.O.B. she's tearing through hundreds of them like paper. How strong is her physical body!? She's literally bathing in fire from the dragons and still killing my atronachs with those deceptively slim arms. I watched her massacre the atronachs with pure physical strength for at least 30 minutes and she doesn't even look like she's broken a sweat.

"Wait..." I muttered narrowing my eyes at the one sided slaughter. She should know by now that even if she keeps killing them, they would just respawn infinitely. If that's the case.... "Shit!" Raising my staff, I directed most of the magical energy towards the barrier around the island. The once invisible barrier became resplendent as more magical energy was pumped into it.

"It's too late~" I never took my eyes off her, the way she smiled as she took joy in pulling one over me. She raised a hand as an immense demonic power erupted from her small body like a flooding dam. "Celsius Cross Trigger!" The last thing I saw before it was released, was her infuriating wink.

Standing above the frozen rubble, Gold ignored the scene of his world completely frozen. Serafall had destroyed his barrier and flash froze the Eye of Magnus long enough for the entire island to come falling down. By the time the eye had broken free of it's frozen prison, it was too late.

"You were never suppressed at all. You tricked me into thinking that as you slowly gathered enough power to bring me down in one move. Well played." Gold gave an honest praise as he was truly outsmarted.

"Aww~ You really know how to make a girl feel all tingly inside~" Serafall emoted expressively as she didn't move to quickly catch him as he was already forced to the ground. "Now why don't you just give up and come over here. I promise I'll love you FoREvER aND EvER!" She spread her arms as if waiting for him to run into her embrace. Gold remained passively in his position as he blankly stared at the girl before him.

"Unfortunately I'll have to decline because as an Aversis, I hate losing you know." He declined again despite the situation.

Serafall didn't change from her position as her arms were still held out. However her eyes seemed to lose their light, becoming hollow and dark. "You know, I've been really patient Gold." She didn't use the familiar -chan that she added to everyone's name.

"What's wrong with me? Why am I not enough? Is it because of those other bitches that hang around you? If so, then will you love me if I get rid of them all?" Her voice had lost it's usual cheerful tone. Gold could feel the temperature dropping below zero.

"You know, I wouldn't have minded keeping them as extra girls you know. Devil's usually have a harem of concubines anyway. But I just don't understand you. I've been trying really hard you know." She said with a hollow voice. She had never moved from her position, simply holding her arms out still waiting for him to move into her embrace.

"You would be wasting your time. That wouldn't change a thing." Gold's passive expression made his thoughts unreadable.

"Then why won't you love me?" She asked without changing her tone. It was a genuine question.

"I'm not looking for a committed relationship right now, sorry." He honestly replied. He didn't feel ready for anything serious. He was just a guy in retirement.

"Oh." Was all that left Serafall's mouth in response to his rejection. Time seemed to tick by as an awkward silence pervaded the area. Then finally, she broke the silence again.

"Well then I guess I'll just have to break all your bones and keep you with me until you're ready." Gold could feel the resolve that replaced the hollowness in her voice. He knew that she would definitely follow through with it. He watched her begin to take small steps towards him. She was done waiting.

"That's going to be difficult." He responded with a smirk. He raised up the last elder blunt that he rolled up and took a deep puff from it.

"Oh? And why is that? You have nowhere to run. Nothing you do can stop me. Even if you tried to leave in that truck of yours, I would stop you before you could even open the door." She stated as she continued to walk towards him. Of course she knew about his truck, she knew that was his only method of escaping. But he wouldn't be able to get in the truck in time with her speed.

"Serafall Leviathan, you made one mistake." Gold stated as he began to chuckle a bit darkly due to the slight insanity he gained from the elder blunt.

"And what mistake is that?" She asked, never stopping her steps. She was nearly right in front of him.

"You didn't destroy my source of power." His smirk turned into a feral grin.

*BOOM* Rising from the frozen rubble, the Eye of Magnus floated above Gold while it exuded it's boundless energy. Serafall gazed at the Eye as it opened up, revealing. "Is that Gasper-chan?" Contained within the eye was the genderbent Gasper Vladi who seemed to be chained up and gagged as she didn't understand what the hell was going on.

"Correct!" Gold clapped "You know of her sacred gear, Forbidden Balor View correct?" Of course she knew, being a Satan allowed her to be privy of a lot of information.

"Normally, the Forbidden Balor View wouldn't work on someone on the level of a Satan. However, what would happen if it was activated at a much higher level of power using something else as the medium?" Gold asked with confidence in his voice. Serafall didn't respond as she disappeared from sight at impossible speeds.

"IT'S TOO LATE! ZA WARUDO!" In that moment, time stopped. Gold stared as Serafall was frozen in mid-air. She was too late, time had stopped.

"KuhuhuhuhuhAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Gold laughed maniacally as his plan worked. Before leaving the school, he had captured his gaming buddy as a last resort.

"Victory comes to those who are prepared!" Gold spoke grandly as he closed the distance with normal steps. However when he got close to the Leviathan, his eyes widened at the sight of her hand twitching.

"WHAT!?" Gold jumped back in disbelief. In theory, with Gasper's sacred gear being powered by the power of the Eye of Magnus. Even something like a super powered up Satan would be helpless before it. But it seems he had miscalculated.

"Can you still see me Serafall?" He asked his question out loud. He didn't receive an answer.

"She's afraid of me leaving through my truck, which means she's waiting for me to get close enough to catch me at the last second." He muttered with narrowed eyes. The reason he hadn't left was due to the fact that he was truly confident in his victory. He had prepared specifically for this contingency.

"Hm, just in case I'll finish you from a distance." With a wave of his hand, hundreds of golden portals surrounded the Leviathan. Peerless weapons of all kinds were shot out from the gate at high speeds, stopping in mid air around the girl.

*CLANG sfx* Gold smiled evilly as he witnessed the girl smacking away a number of weapons that would have pierced her instead of stopping around her, time stopped once again. Unfortunately he couldn't keep this up, he knew Gasper's body wasn't capable of handling that much energy. Time would resume again, but this time he was truly confident.

Legendary weapons of all kinds that numbered in the thousands would fly towards her at high speeds. They ranged from holy weapons like caliburn to anti-magic weapons like Gae Dearg to immortal slaying weapons. There was no possible way for her to escape.

"Time moves again." Gold spoke as time resumed and the sound of weapons soaring filled the air.

"HAAAAH!" Serafall released a battlecry as she punched the weapons around her away at insane speeds.

"What!? No one can just deflect the Gate of Babylon!" Gold stated out loud in disbelief at the sight of the girl moving so fast that copies of her were filling the air.

In another reality, a certain wannabe Hero of Justice sneezed for some reason.

Weapons continued to fly off in all directions as they were all punched away by one girl. By the end, Serafall released a deep breath as some blood dripped down. She hadn't been able to deflect all of them, her clothes were tattered and cuts were revealed on her body.

"I win Gold... Gold?" She looked around not seeing the blonde anywhere.

*HOOOOOOONNNKKK!!* She snapped her head up at the sight of the familiar truck descending down on her with Gold at the wheel.

"ROAD ROLLERRRRRR!!!!" Gold shouted out as the truck accelerated down on her from above with rocket thrusters on the back.

"KKKH... HAAAAAAH!" Serafall roared as she attempted to force the rocket boosted truck back with pure strength. Out of all the items in Gold's posession, his truck was his greatest trump card. Nothing in the multiverse could destroy it besides a R.O.B. or another truck. It was made the same way as the weapons that the interdimensional FBI use. As long as it exists in the multiverse, it wouldn't be able to damage the truck. Even if a million gilgameshes were to use EA, it wouldn't scratch the truck. So Gold was confident Serafall wouldn't be able to freeze it.

"IT'S TOO LATE, YOU CAN'T ESCAPE! JACK!!!" A large muscular horse landed above the truck as it was attempting to smush the Satan into a pancake. The genetically screwed up horse raised it's muscular arms and rained down it's fists of fury.

"NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH NEIGH!" Of course it said that all in english.

"KkkkaAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Serafall screamed out as her body kept sinking more and more into the ground.

"GET CRUSHED!! *HOOONNNKKKKK!*" Gold hit the overdrive button as the orange rocket thrusters at the back of his truck expanded in size and became blue.

*BOOOM!* in a final explosion of power, the truck finally crushed the Satan into the ground.

The door to the truck opened as Gold fell out to the ground. He was panting heavily, but his eyes were more focused at the sight of the crash.

"I won.... KuhuhuhuHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I WON! TAKE THAT YOU SHITTY YANDERE CURSE! THIS PROVES THAT NOT EVEN A CURSE CAN TAKE DOWN GOLD AVERSIS! PUNY READERS! BOW DOWN BEFORE YOUR NEW PROTAGONIST!" Gold laughed maniacally in his victory

"Well then, I guess I should get ready for a war with the devils since I killed a Satan. Might as well check if I can get some interesting samples from the body, if there even is a body left." He smirked as he moved to search for the body.

"Guhh?" Gold grunted as he found it difficult to move his leg. "Wh-What? My body's movements a-are slowing down...." He was shocked to find the rest of his body becoming stagnant.

"N-No... I'm not slowing down.... I-I cannot move. I-Impossible! M-My b-body won't move at all!" Gold spoke out in confusion as he couldn't understand his situation.

"Gold!" his heart seemed to stop as the familiar voice sounded out from behind him. "You know I wasn't able to do this before, maybe it's just the power of my love for you that I became stronger?" Footsteps sounded out from behind him as he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"I froze time at the last second, that let me escape." She whispered into his ears with longing in her eyes.

"Now! Nothing will stop me from making you mine!" She declared with complete assurance.

"S-Serafall!!!!!" Gold growled out
