37 First night of the war

"You dare to use my treasures without permission!?"

"I mean it technically wasn't yours anymore after death." Gold pointed out

"Fool, all the treasures in the world are mine to begin with!" Gilgamesh declared with assurance.

"Please, your stuff isn't even that great. I've seen better." Gold said with a wave of his hand as if he wasn't that impressed. He had seen better in his days working as an Isekai Truck Driver.

"You dare to insult my treasury!?"

"There wasn't even anything in there that could get me high. I tried smoking that little immortal herb of yours, it barely got me buzzed." He remembered finding that herb of immortality. He thought that Gilgamesh failed to get it in lore but apparently Gilgamesh had collected it as well.

"Of course it didn't! That herb was never even meant for such a thing!" The blonde king said in disbelief that someone would attempt to smoke it.

"Wait, so does that mean you actually have a stash of the good stuff somewhere in the gate?!" Gold asked a little excited. To this day he had only searched about 1/4 of the gate. He still hadn't been able to find Gilgamesh's stash of narcotics and drugs.

"Hmph! Your doubt is laughable. Remember this, I have experienced all the forms of pleasure in the world. It is only natural that I would have a variety of the best within my treasury. You were simply so incapable, that you weren't able to locate it." Gilgamesh declared haughtily with his arms crossed.

"Well don't just leave me hanging! Tell me where it is!"

"And why should I do that? So you can continue to perverse my treasures with your greedy hands?" The blonde king gave him a bland look.

"Tsk, fine be that way. I bet your stash doesn't match up to my own stuff." Gold rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue.

"Watch your words thief, lest your claim fall flat." he warned

"Then I'll prove it! Behold!" Gold took out two rolled up blunts and an Elder Scroll. Magical formation lit up as he began chanting demonically.

"Hoh?" Gilgamesh became intrigued as he gazed at the sea of indecipherable words gush out from the scroll and into the blunts.

"Done!" Gold declared, holding out a blunt to the blonde servant. "I even added some things to it that I haven't even tested yet!" Even Gold wasn't sure what the effects would be after smoking the Elder Blunt 2.0.

Gilgamesh narrowed his eyes as he rubbed his chin in thought, while staring at the magically pulsing blunt being handed out to him. Curiousity won out in the end as he reached out to take the blunt.

30 minutes later.

"KUAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!" Hovering above the clouds above Fuyuki City, a floating island could be seen by everyone who looked up.

Two blondes were currently laughing maniacally while standing over the edge of the floating island. Their laughter could be heard all over the city as they stared down at the world.

"Oh no..." Risei Kotomine muttered out as he stared at the floating island above. It was only the first night of the war, he knew the grail war could get out of hand but who could expect someone to pull out a floating island on the first day!?

Currently every Master and Servant in the city had eyes on the overbearing display in the sky. They were unsure of whether or not they should do something about it or not.

"Hoh?" Archer Gilgamesh looked towards the sky in interest.

"What's going on!? How are we going to cover something this big up?!" Tokiomi asked out incredulously with confusion marred on his face as he stood by Gilgamesh.

"This farce of a war has become more interesting than I had initially thought it would be." his servant spoke as he had a thoughtful expression.

SOMEWHERE ELSE

"Kiritsugu! Do you see it!?" The Magus Killer heard his wife's anxious voice over the phone.

"I do." he stated as he continued to stare through the scope of his gun at the two blondes in the sky. For a moment the two blondes seemed to glance in his direction as if they felt his gaze, but he wasn't sure as they seemed to dismiss his presence.

"What should we do?"

Kiritsugu was silent for a moment. "For now, we will observe. I don't like this situation. Keep Saber next to you at all times." He had decided to play it safe for now.

SOMEWHERE ELSE

"Is he crazy!? At this rate the existence of magecraft will be revealed!" Waver panicked as he was afraid the Clocktower was going to get involved at this rate.

"Hahahaha! I like them! This is how a war should be! Boy, we must respond with equal showing!" Iskander declared as he raised his sword with sparkling eyes.

"Would you shut up already! We can't fight that!"

"Well I don't think they're planning to give us much choice." Iskander responded as he continued staring at something else besides the two blondes on the island.

"What are you talking about?" Waver asked with confusion as he turned to where his servant was looking at.

"Draw your arrows, I will permit it!" Gilgamesh's voice could be heard by every Master and Servant spread across Fuyuki.

On the edges of the Cloud DIstrict, golden structures could be seen moving and adjusting themselves. These 360 magical ballistas were built in the 30 minutes that the two blondes had been high.

"Witness the defense of Uruk! The greatest and richest of cities! The deluge of the land is my will!" With the king's declaration, the ballistas were aimed at the magical signature of every servant detected in the city. Golden magical energy coalesced on the tips.

"MELAMMU DINGIR!" With the King's roar, the magical energy was released towards 6 different locations in Fuyuki.

The Evil Wizard Aversis and the Wise King Gilgamesh had made their entrance to the war by bombing Fuyuki.

"KUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Their maniacal laughter could still be heard over the bombardment of destruction.

It was later covered up by saying that the whole event was for a movie being filmed by Americans. The mages of the Clock Tower were forced to put in the funds for the actual movie to be released next year.

Gold Aversis immediately received a sealing designation the moment his name had been found out.

Well, that was one hell of a trip. This time I kept recording spells active, so I know exactly what happened after I go through something like that. I ended up waking up alone in the Cloud District after I became sober again.

Where's Gilgamesh? Taking a moment to review the recording of last night, I started to sweat a little. Well shit, I may have gone a bit overboard. We didn't even take out any of the other servants!

Well I guess since Gilgamesh's noble phantasm had it's bombardment divided by 6, the other servants only had to deal with 60 each. We did kill some of the Assassins, but not all of them.

After the sun had come up, we moved the island back into my workshop dimension.

"No no no! Do it over again!" I heard Gilgamesh's voice over at the main temple.

"...What are you doing?" I asked blankly. Gilgamesh seemed to be commanding my atronachs to be building something ontop of the temple. He was holding some kind of blueprint in his hand as he barked out orders to the Atronachs. I guess I gave him command over the atronachs last night, normally they don't respond unless I give someone permission.

"There you are!" The Golden King yelled as he jumped down to me. "What is the meaning of this horrible design!?" He demanded the answer while pointing up towards the sky.

"What do you mean?" I raised a brow.

"There is no roof! What sort of building has no roof!?"

"I mean, when I made it I thought it'd be nice to see the clouds above." It seemed like an interesting design so all the buildings in the Cloud District didn't have a roof.

"Your tastes are more horrendous than I had feared! A building with no roof is just walls! Have you not heard of the saying 'A roof over one's head to keep out the rain'!?" He said as I just rolled my eyes.

"But it looks cool." I argued

"It isn't functional!"

"Fine, how about a barrier above to keep out rain then?" I tried to compromise.

"That wouldn't solve the horrendous display it presents if one were to attempt to appreciate it! We are to make a roof for every building on this land!" He declared

I gave him a bland look before sighing out. "Fine." I said giving up. I was never much of an architect to begin with.

"On another note, I have decided." He said changing the subject. "Your offering has been satisfactory, for now you will have my permission to access my treasury. However!" He exclaimed at the end, pointing at me. "You are to call me Master from now on!"

"But, I'm pretty sure that I'm the Master here." I raised a brow, raising my command seals.

"Fool! You have learned from my book correct!?"

"I guess I have?" I said a bit hesitantly

"Turn to the second page." He said as I took out the book. He pointed at a tiny line in the corner.

"Those that learn from 'The Greatest Guide of Magic' shall agree to be apprenticed under the great King Gilgamesh and refer to him as Master." I read it out loud slowly. Well shit.

"Well? I am waiting apprentice." He crossed his arms as one of my eyes were twitching in annoyance.

I eventually sighed in defeat "...Fine, this apprentice greets Teacher Gilgamesh." I tried to compromise

He looked at me for a moment with his red eyes narrowed "That will do for now. Come apprentice, I shall teach you true architecture!" He declared

We had spent the second day of the war redesigning the structures of the Cloud District.
