4 :Prologue 3
since it was the end of the semester, Jon woke up at eleven thirty in the morning. After Waking up John did his normal routine. He got dressed, went to the washroom to brush his teeth and wash his face.
After finishing his routine he grabbed his car keys but before he left he looked at himself in the mirror.
John wore black jeans, a grey hoodie, and nice black Vans.
As he was in the elevator he was thinking of how to ask Alyssa out. 'I can't pussy out. But if she says no it's gonna be awkward. Shit, what ever I'll just risk it' John thought before the elevator doors opened.
After the doors opened he walked to his car and started it up. While waiting for the car to heat up a bit, he plugged his phone into the aux and started playing music to wake him up and to get him ready for the day.

Getting to the arcade was a hassle as the traffic was terrible. It took him an extra forty minutes to get to the arcade.
When he arrived he got out of his car and walked to the entrance of the arcade.
When he walked into the arcade Dave and Patrick greeted him. John seeing them smiled and greeted them back.
"You ready to leave your single life behind bro" Dave said in a cheerful tone.
"You better not pussy out" Patrick said with a glare.
"I wont trust me guys. Anyways where are the others" John asked.
"There in the washroom right now, probably talking about you" Patrick teased.
"Cool. I'm gonna go exchange some money for tokens" John said walking away form the the two and going to exchange money for tokens.
While he was walking away Patrick sighed and said "John really doesn't get embarrassed does he".
Dave laughed and said "He probably doesn't want to show it".
This was true because as soon as John was away form them his heart started pounding even faster.
'Talking about me. What are they saying. Did Samantha say something she shouldn't have. Did she tell her I'm going to ask her out' John thought while walking to the machine to exchange his money.
After doing that he came back with a bucket of coins.
When he went back to them he saw Samantha and Alyssa along with the other two. He then walked up to them and greeted them with hugs.
They then walked around and played various games, and like that two hours passed.
During the two hours John and Alyssa were talking a lot and laughing along with the group. After finishing the car racing game Dave, Patrick and Samantha looked at each other and nodded.
"I have to go to the washroom" Dave said.
"Let me come with you I need to go to" Patrick said with a smile.
"Oh what a coincidence I need to go to" Samantha said as they all left leaving only John and Alyssa alone.
John realizing they did this for them made a note to thank them after they were finished with the arcade.
John looked at Alyssa and said "well wanna play the claw game".
Alyssa nodded and they left to play the game. John put in a token and started playing it. While he was doing this he was talking to Alyssa.
Eventually after five tries he finally got what he wanted, a teddy bear. Taking the bear out of the slot he turned to his right and looked at Alyssa.
"Alyssa" He said.
"Ya, what's up" Alyssa asked somewhat blushing.
"You know when I first met you, I thought you would be annoying" John said with a chuckle.
"He-" Alyssa was cut off by what john said next.
"But I was completely wrong. We had a common interest in anime and to be honest with you, that made me really happy. I finally had someone who I could talk to who had the same interest. I really didn't think you would end up being my closest friend and I definitely didn't think I would end up liking you this much. Alyssa, getting to know you is one of the best things that have happened to me and because of that so many things happened. I found new friends I cherish, I tried new things, and most importantly I fell in love. Alyssa would you be my girlfriend" John said handing her the teddy bear.
Alyssa hearing this teared up. "Of course you moron I was waiting for this for a while" Alyssa said with tears coming out of her eyes and a smile on her face.
Hearing this John sighed of relief and went in to hug her. He then wiped her tears for her and looked into her eyes.
They made eye contact for a couple seconds before they closed their eyes and let their lips meet each others.
After a good 2 seconds they separated and that when they heard cheering to the side of them.
"Yessss" Dave screamed quietly.
"Wooooo, finally" Patrick said cheering for them with a smile
"Good job" Samantha said with her thumbs up.
Noticing them there John smiled at them while Alyssa blushed a little. "Thanks guys, if it wasn't for you I don't know how much longer it would've taken" John said with a bright smile.
Alyssa looked at John and flashed him a bright smile.
"Well then Alyssa why don't we have a first date today, its only three after all" John said grabbing her hand.
"ya lets go. Sorry guys lets do something next time" Alyssa said to the others.
"Ya, ya hurry up and leave already" Patrick said making them all laugh.

After walking out of the arcade Alyssa looked at John and asked "Where you wanna go".
John looked at her and said "Lets go eat something, there's a nice burger place around here".
"I'll leave it up to you, by the way I know I didn't say it back there but I hope you knw I love you too" Alyssa said with a slight blush.
John looked at her and smiled.
They then reached the car and when they got in Alyssa asked "Mind if I have the aux".
"Sure, here" John said handing her the aux.
John then started the car and along the way they started singing along.

After arriving at the burger place they ordered what they wanted. While waiting for their food they talked about how the new episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen were and many other tv shows, and K dramas they watched.
When they got their food and finished eating they left and went to the movies.
When they got there they searched for a movie they would both enjoy and eventually they narrowed it down to two.
The new spider man movie and a new insidious. Eventually they decided on the Spider man movie.

By the time they finished the movie it was already seven meaning it was dark out. Since It was dark outside they thought it would be a good idea to end the date there and continue another time.
After they left the movie John drove Alyssa home. Arriving at her house John walked her to the door and gave her a kiss before he went back to his car and went back home.
After getting back home he told his friends that him and Alyssa got together to which they congratulated him and told him "It took long enough".
He then took a shower and changed into his pajamas before laying down on his bed. He then pulled out his phone and before he could start watching any anime he got a Face Time call from Alyssa.
He answered the phone and all he heard was …
"Get on, Dave, Samantha, Patrick and I are on Valorant. Todays the day we get to Radiant" Alyssa said.
John sighed and went on Valorant. By the time they stopped playing it was already six in the morning, but it was worth it as, they finally reached Radiant.
Everyone but Alyssa and John got off saying goodnight, and when John was about to leave Alyssa said "I had a lot of fun today. Lets go out do something soon. Bye love you".
John said then smiled and said "Ya I had a blast, see you soon. Love you too" before Alyssa left and then leaving himself.

Time passed by quickly and before the new couple knew it, they had been dating for a year. They had gotten a lot closer and have experienced a lot of first times together.
They've also met each others parents during the year they have been dating.
That's not all, during the year John and the rest of the group also gotten alot closer, to where John can easily call them his best friends.
John himself also changed. After Alyssa and him started dating he started working out even harder and got himself contact lenses.
Though he knew Alyssa didn't care about looks, he wanted to get more attractive and stronger to make sure he could protect Alyssa and even his friends if they were in any trouble, and he did.
Constantly working out and doing cardio made John lose even more weight and make his muscles more defined.
He was now incredibly fit and him eating healthier made his skin even clearer than it was.
John meeting Alyssa was truly fate and after he started dating her he knew that she was the one he wanted to get married to and even grow old with, but fate is not always so nice. John, Alyssa's and rest of the groups life would change in the coming future.
What does fate have in store for them and would it be as tragic as they would later think?
