After escaping the place he was locked in, he ran into the forest. At first he wanted to take the other serums Jean made but God told him that he would not be able to as he is not yet strong enough to face off against multiple people who can use magic.

That is when he put it in the back of his head and focused on his main goal, fully escaping.

As John was walking as silently as he could in the forest God was talking to him in his astral for.

[You know kid, your names kind of boring. You should change it to something cool like the heaven defying talent Dragnar] God said with a smile.

"You have terrible naming sense and I'm not a dragon" John stated.

[Tsk, whatever you say kid] God said after kissing his teeth.

After walking for around two hours God suddenly stopped him.

[Stay still and don't make a sound. Someone is coming and they have low-class level mana. Hide behind a tree] God instructed.

John did just that. He found a tree and quickly hid behind it, but as he was new to hiding from a dangerous threat he was obviously breathing heavier and sweating in fear.

[I'm here with you, do not be afraid. Calm your breathing and start meditating like how I taught you. Sync your breathing to the sound of you blood flowing through your veins] God said.

John did that and he immediately felt calmer.

"Thanks" John said before God talked again.

[The man is close. 80 meters, 40 meters, 15 meters. The man is right in front of the tree, do not try and take a look] God said.

John followed his instructions and didn't peak or make any sounds. Five minutes later God spoke again.

[Another man is coming. This must be their meeting spot] God said making John nod.

"Apparently Jean has created an angel serum" The man in front of the tree spoke.

"Yeah apparently he already has a successful test subject. What do you want to do though, Jeans stronger than us we cant just steal the serum or the test subject" The other man said.

"I overheard the higher ups talking about how them and Jean will pick up the test subject in the morning. That means we can go now and disappear by sun rise. Just imagine the power we can get if we use the serum on our selves. Plus if we cant get the serum the test subject is there. We can always study his blood and try to remake the serum" He responded to the man.

"I don't know man, it seems too risky" the other guy said making the one he was talking to sigh.

"We wont ever get an opportunity like this again. I already have five other people willing to join us in this operation" The man said trying to convince the other guy.

As they were talking John couldn't be more thankful he left earlier. "God am I able to kill them" John suddenly asked making God smile and say [With my help you can].

"What do you mean" John whispered under his breath.

[I've been in many battles so I can instruct you as you deal with them. Plus it doesn't seem like one of the men wants to risk it. In a battle against one man, you would do just fine with my help] God explained.

"Still I don't think I should go, I don't want to risk it. If the higher ups find out, death would be the best thing that would happen. The worst being experimented on by that sicko Jean" He xplained.

The other man shook his head and sighed "Fine do as you wish. I'll be heading back to the base and gathering the men" he said as he grabbed a paper form his pocket and teleported away.

[There's only one left go and kill him before he leaves] God said.

John did as God instructed and came form behind the tree. 'Time for some acting' John thought as he approached the man.

"Mr, I'm lost and scared" John said in a scared and worried tone.

Hearing the little boy the man turned around and looked at john.

What he saw was a short, malnourished boy with long green hair and green eyes wearing a tattered shirt and run down shorts.

"What happened little guy" the man asked in a worried tone.

'Don't tell me this is the test subject. If I can bring him with me, I can figure out the serum without being caught. If anything I can blame him and the rest of the guys at the base for colluding to steal Jeans 'material' the man thought.

The man put a small smile on his fame as he said "Don't wprry little guy, I'll bring you with me".

John seeing this smile couldn't help but slightly shiver. He then smiled at the guy and said "Please sir, anything. I'm cold and hungry" John said.

The man nodded as they walked to the west of the forest(The church is north).

After walking for five minutes John asked the man something.

"Can you pick me up sir. My legs are frozen and it's hard to walk" John said raising his arms asking to be picked up.

The man kissed his teeth and picked him up.

As John was getting a piggy back ride he made an excuse to reach for his pockets. "My bum is itchy wait a sec Mr.".

John then took out his Scalpel from his pocket and said "I'm done".

Before the man could start walking again John sliced his neck. Blood gushed out and before the man knew it he fell on the ground. The last thing he saw was looking into Johns eyes before taking his last breath.

John then stabbed him once again and made sure he died and not even a second later he saw black smoke coming out form the mans body and going into his.

A new wave of strength flowed through him and he let out a comfortable sigh.

[Congrats kid you got a pretty big boost in strength. You now have low high levels of low-class mana, High stage low-class strength, middle stage low-class speed and high stage low-class stamina. You can definitely take on at least two low-class level priests] God informed John.

"That felt pretty good" John said as he remember the feeling of getting stronger. 'Thankfully I made that skill or I would be puking right now' John thought.(Skill about being comfortable with killing people)

AN: As you can see John kills if he has too. He lied to man and quickly and efficiently killed him. John will not be a good guy especially not in this world where devils roam around and kill a bunch of humans.

- He didn't use magic cause it would've made a scene and it wasn't a better choice than assassinating him.

-the magic increase wasn't that much since the man he killed wasn't a mage. He was more of a physical attacker so that why his strength boosted up a lot more that the other categories like mana.
