10 Chapter 10: Too special
"Nothing…" Ajuka said softly his blue eyes filled with confusion and fascination near him stood the Gremory family.
Lady Venelana Lord Zeoticus Lord Sirzech Lucifer and Lady Grayfia along with Aureolus and another devil presumably Ajuka's assistant.
A mystical black crystal orb glows with eerie power, pulsing with a vibrant, dark energy. The orb is a swirling, twisting mass of pure darkness.
It seems to contain thousands of years of history and knowledge, a vast repository of secrets, both mundane and magical, that have been locked away for countless lifetimes.
Aureolus's hand was atop it but it continued functioning as normal with no reaction to him or his demonic power.
The orb was called the Acheron's black ball, it was created by Ajuka a couple of decades ago to sense the young devil's demonic power to conjure evil pieces best suited for their demonic power.
If demonic power were to be set on a scale of 1-10 decibels then this item could sense demonic power at .00001 decibels.
Even the tiniest of fragments of demonic energy could be detected by it and create the best-suited evil pieces for it.
"I-I…" Aureolus opened and closed his mouth in shock Sirzechs frowned his eyes filled with remorse and self-blame.
"Little brother it's okay though I need to have a word with your uncle Ajuka." Sirzechs ruffled his hair gently with a smile that barely held up "Why don't you go to bed?" He said gently to which Aureolus nodded.
He had already known of this outcome from Heracles's words though was still shocked but he wasn't too sad about it, He still had his big brother and parents to rely on and they'd surely figure something out.
A teleportation circle appeared beneath his feet as he appeared in a private sector of Ajuka's lab he needed to stay here for a couple of days for testing.
His parents said every young devil went through this process.
His mother and father had practically instantly taken him to Ajuka's lab right after he'd come back from Olympus he was truly depleted.
"….I still don't agree with this.." Sirzechs particularly growled out his eyes glowing with a violet hue from his power.
"Sirzechs it doesn't matter if you do or not, You can't interfere with the Gremory household and we've decided this is the best for Aureolus," Zeoticus replied sternly meeting Sirzechs's eyes.
"I can adopt him! I can take care of him?!" He answered back with rage.
"That would be showing clear favoritism towards the Gremory clan Lord Sirzechs, As lucifer you can't interfere," Grayfia said coldly to her It was a matter of course whatever Lord and Lady Gremory wanted was what would happen in the Gremory household.
"You'll regret this Father and Mother, I guarantee you'll regret this." Sirzechs sneered angrily not even saying goodbye as he teleported out of the room.
"Ajuka about your spell?…" Venelana said hesitantly.
"Don't worry Lady Venelana I'm a billion sure that Aureolus will feel no pain during the process and I've arranged the best Orphanage for him he'll soon have a loving home for himself," Ajuka said without missing a beat, He gestured towards his assistant.
His assistant was a tall, Long black-haired devil with pure blood red eyes with pale brown to olive skin tone, and thin smooth white glasses with a peaceful smile playing across his lips for as long as he stood.
"Yamato here will take care of Aureolus's needs you do not have to worry even a single bit I promise," Ajuka said respectfully as the gremory couple and Grayfia nodded.
They all teleported out of the room not having the heart to witness the rest of the process, Venelana in particular was sure if she stayed any longer she'd stop this.
"Yamato be gentle with the boy okay? Don't wake him and make it painless." Ajuka said offhandedly he had full confidence in Yamato his right-hand man for decades now.
Yamato nodded earnestly he too seemed to be very concerned about this taking it extraordinarily seriously.
"I promise boss I'll be done quickly and easily." Yamato saluted playfully to which Ajuka chuckled.
Ajuka himself wasn't all too surprised by the Gremory couple's decision, it was expected especially since they were such powerful devils and to have another child on the way.
Yamato teleported out of the room as Ajuka turned around to start working on another project of his, Yamato's gentle smile turned into a sinister grin.
He appeared in the sleeping Aureoles's room, humming a tune his hand glowing a white glow resting it atop Aureoles's skull, Ten seconds later he retracted his outstretched hand.
Yamato hummed he had completely erased most of Aureolus's memories, his memories of his family his brother his training in Olympus, Everything but basic functions that he needed such as speech-language and how to walk, etc.
"Alright then… let's see… what's so special about you," Yamato whispered his voice like that of a venomous snake hunting its prey.
He teleported himself and Aureolus out of the room appearing in front of the "orphanage" with the unconscious boy in his arms.
A large, charming wooden building stands at the end of a long, winding road, nestled between two lush, green hills, it was isolated at the very deepest corner southeast of the underworld.
The building appears to be an orphanage, with dozens of windows and gables, decorated with flowers and vines.
The sun does not seem to shine quite as brightly over the orphanage as if the very air were darker here.
There was an illusion of joy in this building you could hear cries and joyful laughter from children but you couldn't see any, It was empty but full.
A powerful illusion and barrier magic combined with senjutsu, A seal below the building gathered the nearby nature energy powering the illusion and barrier making it completely undetectable to a non-Senjutsu master.
Yamato opened the door of the building walking in, It was empty no floors no furniture just pure dirt and grass on the floor, Walls a pure disgusting yellow, and the roof broken wood.
You could still hear the sound of childish laughter but no joy could be found in this place.
Yamoto went downstairs yes the front door lead to the upper floor, He walked what seemed like an infinite staircase of stairs that went on for what seemed to be infinity.
The darkness at the bottom was a terrifying thing that would make even the most powerful devils quiver.
Now you couldn't hear the children's joyful laughter all you could hear was the growls and bowels of what seemed to be massive monsters.
For what seemed like thirty minutes Yamoto continued to climb not even the slightest bit concerned that he'd be caught, Ajuka was far too trusting in him, And the Gremory household was none the wiser.
Sirzech Lucifer was also banned from visiting the boy by Lady Venelana, so for Yamoto this was a free game.
A towering aging ancient door appeared in his field of vision, Covered and wrapped in chains holding something powerful and dark back.
Opening it with a mere glance he strod in and what a terrifying sight he walked into, There was a low, oppressive hum in the air, as if something sinister was near.
The passage opens up into a large underground chamber, with rows of iron cages lining the walls, each containing a horrific, nightmarish creature.
These cages are locked with heavy chains, and the creatures seem to be shrieking and clawing at them in a desperate attempt to escape.
The air is thick with the smell of blood and decay, and a sense of pure, unbridled terror emanates from the creatures.
They seem to be a mix of beasts and demons, each more horrifying than the previous.
Some were humanoid, others were like dragons, some vaguely resembled foxes, others monkeys, some devils, some angels, some even toads, but each of them was terrifying in their own right.
They all roared in anger seeing Yamato but he just snorted in disdain.
'Bunch of failed experiments speaking out of line…' The barrier around this area was strong, incredibly so, unless a super devil or a powerful senjutsu master personally inspected this area they wouldn't find a single suspicious thing.
Sound barriers illusion barriers defense barriers are all powered by an endless supply of natural energy, But how?
Yamato was a staunch believer in senjutsu having studied it for decades now originally just an offshoot experiment of Ajuka, Now had become Yamato's full-time obsession.
Yamato had been stuck in his power remaining as a high-class devil for decades now, with not even an inch of progress till he stumbled upon Senjustu, He was sure if he was able to perfectly master nature's reserve for himself he'd transcend any previous limitations upon devils.
A class higher than the super-devil, Something more godlike a state in which his thoughts would affect the world around him, His very existence a natural disaster, Where only his pleasure and displeasure would exist.
This would be a new way of using senjutsu not something to merely multiply and increase his physical strength, but to be able to manipulate nature's energy and the universe's fundamental structure for himself.
Reaching the levels of the dragon gods or above them.
He'd built this Lab over decades secretly taking experimental items for himself experimenting with the perfect technology.
He'd learned all there was to learn about Senjustu that's why he was able to use it to hide this place, But now he wanted to not learn but create new ways of using Senjutsu.
"And you'll be…the perfect vessel for that…" He whispered darkly setting the unconscious boy down.

I took some inspiration from some other anime's but with more devilish DXD elements I think Senjutsu is really underutilized so I put some of my own headcanons into Senjutsu from DXD it's a bit similar to the nature energy in Say Naruto but a lot different.
