36 Returning to Heaven

A few days after Kunou's birth, Yasaka accepted the Nekoshou into her territory. Since Mike's job is done, Yasaka unwillingly bid farewell to Mike but made him promise that he would visit her now and then.

Unfortunately, the Nekoshou never got to see Mike's face. Mike thought it would be better if they didn't know because they are trying to get into his pants. Mike hoped that, since the Nekoshous are still young except Fujimai, they will forget about him when they grow up.

Yasaka is currently with Fujimai to discuss the future of Nekoshou. She is also giving milk to Kunou by the way.

"Thank you for taking us in, Yasaka-sama." Fujimai thanked her again.

"You should be grateful to your savior instead. He is my benefactor too. And I should thank you, people, too. I got to meet him because of you people after all." Yasaka said with a smile. "By the way, I want to ask you a question. Why does he call you a simp?"

And the word stabbed Fujimai again. She knows Mike is her savior but she wants to punch him once. Of course, she knows that she can't. Fujimai can't tell the details about Underworld completely to Yasaka due to her agreement with Mike. But she told Yasaka about her story.

"No wonder he calls you a simp..." Yasaka found it ironic that Mike killed Fujimai's husband without mercy but he avenged Yasaka's husband and also searched for the gift from her husband with kindness.

Yasaka realized that they are off-topic. "Oh right, we are here to discuss what the Nekoshou would do in the future, right?"

"Ah right, about that... It seems they already decided their future" Fujimai said while scratching her cheek with a complicated smile.

"What is that?" Yasaka didn't understand Fujimai's expression. Fujimai led Yasaka to where the remaining Nekoshous are present.

Mike didn't consider a few factors. The Nekoshou are all young and were about to be killed before Mike saved them. So, Mike is their prince charming or might even be a God. They also want Mike's child because he's strong. And to break their reason of 'having children with the strong', you need someone stronger than Mike which is not possible in this fanfic.

So, the result is...

"Alright, listen up, my fellow Nekoshou. Our God deems unworthy of even showing his appearance. Hence, we need to get stronger and prove him our worth so that we can get into his pants!" Kuroka clenched her fist and shouted.

"Yay!" Shirone and others raised their fist in acceptance.

Simply put, a Nekoshou cult is formed with the sole goal of getting pregnant with Mike's child with Kuroka as their leader.

Yasaka was so shocked at the scene that she couldn't utter words for a few moments and just stared with her mouth open.

"Hey, Fujimai..." Finally, she managed to speak.

Mike is finally free from the series of events that took place due to a letter that came to the church. So, the first thing he did is to go back to the church and teleported back to heaven.

"Onee-chan, I am back!!"

Vasco was depressed after hearing Mike's statement, "I know that you love Gabriel-sama and Michael-sama more than me but could you please not say that directly to my face? Grandpa will get depressed, you know."

"Hahaha... I missed you, Gramps..." Mike said with a laugh. Vasco also smiled looking at Mike's laugh.

"Anyway, It's been a long time since I took an exorcist request but let's see if there is an interesting this time too." Mike considers sloth as a sin. So, he immediately looks for his next mission. He went over the requests but didn't find anything worth his attention.

"Haa... This isn't fair. You got a request just yesterday. Why isn't there a special request today?" Mike complained.

"How about we slack off then?" Vasco suggested.

"Can't argue with that..." Mike didn't know what else to do. He took out his phone. Currently one of Mike's projects is related to that phone. Ajuka, Euclid, and Mike decided to make phones such that they allow them to communicate with each other even though Mike is on earth and they are in the underworld. For readers who might have forgotten because of the small hiatus, Mike is not just a hacker but also a researcher. So, this time his research topic is communication between the two realms.

While Mike is looking at his phone, he went over the pictures on his phone and stopped at a certain picture. It was the picture he took with Hyoudou and Shidou families at the time of his farewell. Mike looked at it for a moment with a sad expression and decided to put the phone away. Vasco noticed this.

"Mike, if you have nothing to do, can we go to the training grounds?" Vasco asked. Mike agreed and they went to an open place.

"That photo... Is that the family that looked after you in Kuoh? You miss them, don't you?" Vasco asked.

"Yes... I miss them. In the past, I used to miss only three people... But now, these weirdos also got into the list..." Mike admitted.

"Why don't you go see them then? It's obvious that you like them..." Vasco suggested.

"I made you get involved with that family to make you realize that your happiness matters too! Mike, I want peace too! Many of my comrades died because of this stupid war. But my grandson's happiness is more important to me than peace! You could say that I am selfish. That's right, I am greedy! Greed is a sin? That doesn't matter! Humans can sin! In fact, they are meant to sin!!" Said the Cardinal-Priest of the church.

Mike was surprised by Vasco's outburst. Vasco sighed and came near Mike and patted his head.

"Mike, you are making decisions for their sake but is this what they would really want? Your own happiness matters, Mike. Be a little selfish." Vasco said with a smile. "Think about it, Mike. I am sure you would make the right decision in the end."

Vasco started walking back to the church while shaking his hand due to the pain he got from punching Mike "Haa... Why is this grandson of mine physically this strong yet mentally so weak? Oh right, I keep forgetting that he is still a child and I am a bad Grandpa..."

Mike took Vasco's suggestion and started debating himself. He did not conclude by the end of the day and he went back to heaven.

"Mi-kun, you are sleeping with me!" Gabriel said the moment he went back. Mike sighed and complied. Mike was dragged into Gabriel's room before Michael could even say 'hi' to Mike.

And just like that, Mike became a body pillow to a half-naked Gabriel as usual. Mike is used to sleeping like this, but this time, he couldn't sleep. The reason isn't that Gabriel is suffocating him with her breasts but Mike still couldn't come to a conclusion about the Hyoudous.

"Mi-kun, are you thinking about that family right now?" Gabriel suddenly asked.

"Yes... I miss them but I think, in the end, it's better to not get them involved" Mike said.

'Angel' was the first thought that came to Mike's mind after looking at her face. He just kept staring into her eyes. Mike understood that Gabriel was worried about him the whole time.

Mike smiled. And suddenly, he closed the distance between their faces and sealed Gabriel's soft lips. Mike didn't go any further with the kiss. They stayed in that state for a while until Mike let go of her lips. He said, "I love you too, onee-chan!"

Gabriel was surprised by Mike's sudden action. Her thought process is completely broken. She kept staring at him for a while. Her face suddenly became bright red. "M... Mi... Mi... Miiiiiiii-kuuuuuuunnn!!!" She pushed Mike away and covered her face with her hands.

Once he said it, Gabriel stopped covering her face and stared into his eyes. "Mi-kun..."

Mike used this moment to touch their lips once again. "Got you!!" And went to sleep in her embrace just like that.

Gabriel's face became completely red with blush once again "H... How am I supposed to sleep now, Miiii-kuuuuunn?!!"

Well, Mike slept peacefully that night but Gabriel didn't.
