33 I tried asking in dogeza

Mike wondered about how to meet the leader of the Yokai faction in Kyoto. If Mike went as an official church member, it would be a problem. If he went in the disguise as a suspicious guy, the lord might not accept his request. If Mike just went as a child, he will just be sent back.

So, Mike concluded that the only way is to meet the leader in secret and explain the truth to the leader hoping that they would accept it. Mike chose Kyoto because he heard good things about the leader here. To be honest, he couldn't gather much though. He only knows that she is a good person and a nine-tailed fox.

Mike sneakily went to the place of Yokai in his disguise. Well, because of his plot armor, Mike is excellent at hiding his presence. So, nobody sensed his presence.

Finally, he reached the place where the leader stays. Mike made use of the trees in the place to hide. Since the front side is more guarded. Mike decided to go through the back. Except for the front side, the place is surrounded by a huge wall which makes security less on the backside.

So, Mike went through the backside and came across a shocking scene. There's also another reason the security is less in the backside. It has hot springs and it's a bathing area. Mike found a pregnant woman with heavenly boobs and blond hair bathing in the hot spring.

Well, but because Mike was a little bit pure, he simply closed his eyes to not look at those boobs and thought 'Hmm... Shouldn't pregnant women avoid hot springs? I should probably advise her or it might harm her and the baby.'

So, because of his kindness, Mike removed his mask and immediately appeared in front of the woman in a dogeza position with his eyes still closed.

"Ma'am, I am sorry for appearing out of nowhere but please don't call the guards. I am just here with a request and would like you to hear me out. But before that, I apologize for seeing you naked accidentally. And also, hot springs are better avoided by pregnant women. I would advise you not to bathe in here until you give birth." Mike maintained his dogeza position and said.

The blond-haired woman and the leader of the Yokai faction in Kyoto, Yasaka, is shocked by the sudden appearance of a child and how she couldn't feel his presence. But even more, she was shocked by his words. But started laughing the next moment. "Fufufu..."

Yasaka decided to hear him out. The reason for this is Mike apologized and advised about the baby and if Mike wanted to hurt her, he could have used a sneak attack when her guard is down. And also, Mike even did a dogeza which has the power to make women show their boobs and panties.

"Ara ara, such a cute boy. I wonder who made a young kid this good at sneaking at a naked woman." Yasaka teased Mike.

"I once again apologize and I am closing my eyes right now. I had to do it because I need our meeting to be a secret. Please hear me out." Mike requested again.

"Fufufu... Alright, we will talk in my room if you could sneak into it. Pregnant women shouldn't stay in hot springs for long after all." The moment Yasaka said it, Mike disappeared from there.

Yasaka put on her clothes and went to her room. Mike was already waiting in the room in a seiza position.

"Ara~ It seems you are well trained to sneak into a woman's room." Mike apologized again. Yasaka smiled and poured the already prepared tea for Mike and took a seiza position in front of him.

"So, what do you want, child?" Yasaka asked.

"Ahem, My name is Michaelangelo Strada, Cardinal Bishop from the church. Please call me Mike. I do things secretly and I recently came across a devils' secret research facility. I took care of the devils but the facility is used to do experiments on Nekoshou. So, I saved them but they don't have a place to return to. I can't handle all of them. So, I am here to request you to take them under your care." Mike bowed and presented his request.

Yasaka was shocked after hearing his request. She stopped smiling and thought seriously. She understood that it would make sense if this person is the recently famous child prodigy from the church. But his request was a lot weird.

"Can I know where this secret facility is?"

"I am sorry but I can't answer that." Mike apologized again. He lost count of how many times he apologized.

"You said it's a secret facility, right? So, if the Nekoshou used in that facility are found in my territory, the ones who were running the facility might create problems for us, right?"

"I destroyed their database and made sure they won't track the Nekoshou but yeah, Nekoshou is a rare breed of Nekomata. So, if they found out that you are having Nekoshou in here, they might connect you to the incident. They can't directly make a move since what they did was illegal even among the devils. But indirectly, they might try to cause you trouble. So, if you took them in, it would be better to keep the fact that they are Nekoshou a secret and just call them normal Nekomata." Mike accepted the risks that come from accepting his request.

So, Mike retook a dogeza position and requested Yasaka "Please accept my request! I will try my best to make sure they won't find out and even if they found out, I will stop them from doing anything to your territory. So please! Take those Nekoshou in your care!"

"Raise your head, Mike-chan," Yasaka said. Mike went into seiza position again.

Yasaka stood up and bowed in front of Mike. "I am sorry, Mike-chan, but I can't accept your request."

And so, Dogeza failed.

(Author's Note: Some of you are confused that Kunou might not be born right now. Well, I have an explanation for that. The age difference between Issei and Kunou is about 6 years. But the events here happen about 5 years after Mike was found. So, shouldn't there be a year till Kunou is born? The explanation is simple. Issei's birthday is on April 16 and Kunou's birthday is on September 9 but the day Mike was found is on November 14. In terms of Issei's birthday, six years are already completed but the day Mike was found comes after September 9, so it's still five years for Mike. I guess this clears it up.

By the way, Mike doesn't go to school and looks older compared to his age. So, he can easily skip a year or join the same year. So, I won't have problems in making it coincide with canon.)
