Farewell

(A few days later)

"I have an announcement."

Mike stated in front of both Shidou and Hyoudou families when they are having a get-together session. Touji already knows about this, so his expression became serious.

"What is it, Mike-chan?" Miki asked him curiously.

"Ah, well... I am going back tomorrow. I mean, Gramps' work here is completed. So, we are going to another country tomorrow."

The atmosphere became heavy after that. The was complete silence for a while. It was Miki who broke the silence with a dry laugh.

"Haha... Of course... Mike-chan isn't from here. I almost forgot about that since he stays with us every day. Your departure is also going to come someday." Anyone can clearly sense the sadness in her words even though she's trying to lighten the mood.

"So, you must be going to another place for the next trip. Where will it be?" She changed the topic.

"It's a snow area this time. There won't be a signal in that place. So, we might not be able to communicate even on phones for a few days. I will contact you once I am out of there though." Mike can't communicate with Earth from the underworld. So, Mike gave them the answer he made up.

"Ah, I see... You are going to come back to Kuoh after some time, right?"

"...." Mike became silent at her question. They found out the answer in that silence.

Gorou also followed his wife and gave out a fake laugh "Ah, I see... So the day has come huh... You should have said this a little time before, Mike! We could have arranged a big farewell party. Hahaha!"

"I don't like it!!" Nozomi shouted and banged the table hard. Everyone was surprised by her sudden outburst. She turned to her parents "You are faking your smiles again!! I don't like it when you do that!!"

Tears were clearly visible in Nozomi's eyes "How could you even try to smile when Hubby said he will be leaving us?!"

They couldn't look her in the eyes. Nozomi instantly hugged Mike "Hubby, don't leave!! I don't want you to go!!"

"I don't want you to go too!" Irina hugged Mike from the other side. Mike expected that this would happen. He feels guilty for making them cry.

"Please don't go, hubby!! I will do whatever you want. I will be a good girl and won't annoy you. I will even stop calling you Hubby if you want! So, please... please don't go..."

"Me too. I will even wear girl's clothes if you want! You can even push me down and have your way with me like the last time if you want!! So, don't go, Mike, please!!"

While Nozomi seriously pleaded with tears, you could say that Irina destroyed the serious mood even though she said that seriously. Mike reminded Gabriel from Irina's statement. Gabriel would also say that she would let him suck her breasts when she is seriously pleading Mike for something.

But Mike finally answered the girls with the only thing he could say with a sad expression "I am sorry..."

The girls started crying even louder. Mike just looked at them with a sad expression. The parents separated the girls from Mike.

"Now now, Nozomi and Shidou-chan, you should stop crying. Farewells like these will be often in life. You are also making Mike sad when you are crying."

But after that, Miki asked Mike one more time "Mike, is there no way for you to stay?"

Mike shifted his gaze downwards and shook his head sidewards...

"Ah, I see... Make sure you contact us once you could."

Mike nodded to Miki's words. The girls cried for a while. But after that, Nozomi opened her mouth once again. But this time, with stern determination in her eyes.

"I have decided. If Hubby can't come to me, I just have to go to him when I grow up!" Mike was surprised at how fast her comeback was.

Nozomi pointed her finger to Mike and shouted "Mark my words, Hubby! After I grow up, wherever in the world you are, I will find you and I will f*ck you!"

There was a moment of silence after that declaration. It was again Nozomi who broke the silence.

"Of course, I will f*ck you only after I make you fall hard for me!" She said with a thumbs up.

"Me too!" It was Irina who shouted this time.

"You might have pushed me down and had your way with me once. But after I become strong, I will be the one to push you down and have my way with you!" The tomboy said with a huge blush on her face.

Mike turned to the parents of these girls and said "You should really teach them to use the right words..."

But both Moms said the same thing " "*sniff* Our daughters are growing... I am so proud of them..." "

"Don't be proud of that!! They are growing in a weird way!!" They didn't care about Mike's retort though.

And then, Gorou caught Mike's shoulders "Mike, wherever you go, don't forget the legacy I passed onto you."

Mike thought this farewell would be dramatic but it took a weird direction. He was amazed at how these people always succeed in surpassing his expectations. But then again, that is one of the things Mike likes about these people.

The next day, they said farewell to him with teary eyes. Touji went along with Mike saying that he would drop him.

And on the way, Touji asked Mike "I know that you have an important mission. But can't you come back after it is over?"

Mike shook his head sideways. "The path I am walking on is really dangerous. I put all of you in enough danger till now. I can't bring myself to involve with you more and put you in more danger."

Touji smiled at the answer he expected "Of course. That would be the real reason..."

Touji looked at the sky and said "I wonder why... When you used me as bait and put me in danger, I didn't really get angry. But now, when you are trying to not put us in danger, it makes me really angry."

"Maybe it's because you are a masochist?"

"For God's sake, don't ruin my monologues every single time, Mike!!"

Mike gave a dry laugh at Touji's complaints to which Touji sighed "Anyway, it looks like you won't change your mind any time now but all of us want you to come back, Mike. So, come back whenever you want. We will be waiting for you. Well, I can't say that about our daughters though..."

Mike gave one last smile to Touji and disappeared from the spot. Touji sighed again and went back home.
