Chapter 01: Transmigration to DxD World

This was the beginning of my story.

My name is Ronald. I don't originally come from this world, DxD. Instead, I was transmigrated to here. I don't remember the event correctly. The only thing that I knew was I suddenly dragged into this world when I played a High School DxD game on my smartphone.

Firstly, there was nothing wrong happened. Then, my smartphone screen suddenly went all-black. All of the characters suddenly disappear, being replaced by some questions that were typed in red font color. Honestly, I felt a bit frightened at that time. I thought that I had installed and played a kind of cursed games that were told on creepypasta.

Being hesitant at first to reply on that question, I decided to press on 'Yes' question. I thought that nothing was wrong with that. I bought this game on an official game store, so it might be impossible if it was cursed. It wasn't like I got the game from a psychopath hacker. Probably, this was some kind of survey that was arranged by the developer of the game.

[What is your favorite faction in High School DxD? Type your answer!]

I typed 'Devil' as my answer, then I tapped 'Done.' In my thought, the devil faction was the coolest faction in the DxD world. They consisted of 72 different clans with the different bloodline abilities for each of them. Of course the other factions were also strong. But, I was more interested to Devil Faction. Maybe because it was the faction which was frequently put on the scene.

I tried to think clearly about the last words that appear on my smartphone screen. However, a crimson light suddenly shone out from my smartphone, making me disappeared gradually. Within the short time, I was already on the DxD world. I remembered that I would become a devil once I was here. So, I intentionally called god's name. As the result, I got a quite severe headache.

'It's so painful! So, it's true that I am turned to be a devil.' I thought after the headache became relieved. 'But wait. If I am a devil, which clan I am belong to?'

[Hello, Ronald. Test…test….Can you hear me?]

A sound appear inside my head. It must be the system that was promised to me before. I had ever read several DxD fanfictions. Some of them include main characters who came from the other world and was given a system to accompany their journeys.

'You…You must be the system that was told on the game.'

[You right, Ronald. Anyway, I am the Empire System. I am assigned to guide you in doing your mission. You aren't transmigrated to here without doing anything. Instead, there is a main quest that you should finish. It's uniting the DxD world under your rules.]

'Uniting the world under my rule? Is it possible for me? I even didn't know about my power and my clan yet?'

There were many devils that didn't have bloodline abilities, yet they could prove themselves to be skillful devils. Sairaorg Bael, as an example, didn't master the Power of Destruction. But, he was recognized to be one of the most powerful young devils of the Underworld. The another example was Rizevim Livan Lucifer, who didn't have many set of skills, but could prove himself to be one of top 3 most powerful devils aside from Ajuka Astaroth and Sirzech Gremory.

'I musn't waste the chance that I have received. Thus, I should prove the world as a powerful creature.'

'Alright then. I guess, the available abilities and equipments are more than enough for me. The next thing that I need to do is training hard and maximizing my power and abilities.'

Now, I had been transmigrated to the DxD World as Vali's cousin. My soul entered the body of a Devil/Human Hybrid who had the same name with me, Ronald. My father was Abraxas Lucifer, the older son of Rizevim Livan Lucifer, making him became the older brother of Razevan Lucifer. Meanwhile, my mother was Sima Yue, a female human who was a descendant of the infamous Chinese Strategist during Chinese Three Kingdoms era, Sima Yi/Zhongda.

My family was quite strict. Since I was kid, my mother would pushed me to only play puzzle toys because she believed that they were good for my brain's development. On the other side, my father also trained me to develop my demonic power. Not only that, he would also make me doing a series of physical exercises. He believed that they could be useful to help me growing powerful like the other Lucifer devil.

When I was eight, my uncle, Razevan had a child from his marriage with a female human magician named Ur Milkovich. Like me, their son was a devil/human hybrid. At the moment I firstly saw his face, I felt that I liked him as a sibling. He looked like my younger brother from my previous life, except his white hair.

"What's his name, Aunty?" I asked my aunt who hugged her newborn child happily.

"Ronald, this is your cousin. Even though my husband isn't here yet, I have decided to named my child as Vali Lucifer," said Vali's Mother as she introduced her son to me.

"Vali…It's such a wonderful name since it means governor. I believe he would become a great person in the future."

"I believe he can. You too, Ronald. I have the faith that both of you would emerge to become two stars who will end this chaos."

Suddenly, Rizevim, Abraxas, and Razevan entered the room. They then looked to Vali with the unhappy expression. After that, my father threw his sharp gaze to me.

"So, that is the baby who make you to refuse training your demonic power, My Son."

"I just want to briefly visit my cousin. He was just born to this world." I tried to defend myself from my father's insult.

"Now, you even dare to argue your own father. What a disgrace!" My father's face seemed to be very angry. The caring yet strict traits that I usually found at him now replaced with grumpy personality. He then looked at Razevan and said, "Look how you managed to make my son turned against me! It's all your mistake for making that child!"

Being blinded with hatred towards Vali, my father quickly took him away from Aunty Ur and then threw him to the outside from the window. Such a ruthless action couldn't be stopped since Razevan's response was to slow, while Aunty Ur was still weak after she gave birth to him.

Watching such situation, I couldn't keep quiet. I rushed to the window and jump from it. Being driven with the desire to save Vali, I unintentionally unlocked a new technique which allowed me to kick the air rapidly and move faster to reach my cousin before he fell down to the ground. After I caught him, I flied by using my wings and went back to his room.

I could see my father smirked after he saw me succefully saving Vali. "Heh…It seemed that you have just shown me a new ability. Good job, My Son. As always, you are really my pride."

Ignoring what my father said, I approached Aunty Ur and gave her son back to her. "Aunty, here is Vali. He is safe now. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

Aunty Ur directly hugged tightly her precious son. She ignored the fatique that she felt after she gave birth to him. She thought that herself wasn't important compared to her son's safety. She then looked to me and showed me a grateful expression.

"Thank you, Ronald. Thank you for saving my son," cried Aunty Ur in joy.

"Your welcome, Aunty." I replied to her words. After that, I looked into my father and said, "I've done an unforgivable mistake for standing against you. I've saved Vali, whereas you want to kill him. Therefore, I declared that I am ready to receive any kinds of punishment from you."

I could see my father grinned after I finished my words. Then, I heard him saying, "Oh my, you recently become braver than before, My Son. You even showed me a new technique. I have no reason to give punishment on you. Still, I need to give you a lesson, so you will become more obedient to me."

"A lesson? In terms of what?"

I acted calm since it was the original trait from the Original Ronald Lucifer. However, I felt so nervous inside my heart. I hoped that it wasn't a severe punishment or harsh lesson that my father was going to give to me.

I just came to this world and I didn't even enjoy living here yet. I didn't want to die quickly. However, all of the hope were gone when my father declared what he was going to do to me.

"I will put you in a duel against Manticore, a pet that I tame years ago."
