8 Chapter 8
A/N: What the MC meant the previous chapter by saying that humanity has the least natural weaknesses is that humans don't have an elemental weakness like the other races. For example, if a human had the same specs as Great Red, he would have no weakness, NOTHING, no Dragon Slaying tool would be able to hurt him at all, while Great Red has been shown to still be hurt by them even while being so strong.
Also the thing with a human lifespan… why would you assume that the MC won't raise his own lifespan? There are literally so many ways in mythology on how people become immortal.
Don't assume that the MC will just be your normal human that just uses his Sacred Gear, and just because his Sacred Gear is good physically, it doesn't mean that he can't be better at magic. His Sacred Gear doesn't define him… unlike most other characters who are strong because they have their Sacred Gear. The MC doesn't need to be born special or with a strong Sacred Gear to be able to grow strong…
Also in the end, the MC isn't hellbent in staying human no matter what. He will change race if it suits him, and if he sees that it's not working as human anymore. That would be dumb if the MC was so hell bent in that. He is human because he sees something that could be useful to him. If it isn't, he will change.

Chapter 8

And so like this, six years pass… many things come to be and many changes happen...

-General POV-
As Issei was walking back to school, he can't help but think about his date with Yuma. He will ask his friends about Yuma later, after all… what happened yesterday… it stills feels surreal to him.
...
But as Issei is thinking this, he doesn't know that some eyes are looking at him from the school student council building. Inside it, there are the Kuoh High School student council members doing paperwork and the beautiful red-haired Rias who is just looking at him.
Sona just gets up from her desk and goes next to Rias, she calmly looks at the suspected Red Dragon Emperor.
"Are you sure you will be able to keep him in line? You know that if he gets out of control like some of his previous holders of that Sacred Gear. Even your brother wouldn't be able to protect you from the fall that would come after it." Reminded Sona, trying to explain to her friend that power has its own downsides.
Rias just smiles confidently as she looks at Issei from the window.
"Wouldn't that be quite the fall? But don't worry I am sure that I can control him." Muses Rias, she is a devil and can incite people if she wants. After all, Issei is still a high school student, whether he is the Boosted Gears holder doesn't matter. Sona seems to think that just because one has a lot of power they have to be smart. But Rias is different… she knows that even the most powerful of people do not necessarily have to be smart to get power.
"I will pack him with so much love that he won't even think of something like that." Says Rias with confidence.
Sona just frowned slightly. She then just looked at Rias with a wary look. "You Gremory, are truly too confident and think that love can solve everything. What if that isn't enough, what if he has some secret deep-rooted hatred or something like that, what if he goes rogue. You should have been more careful with him. He could destroy your family if something unexpected happens."
Then Tsubaki, the Student Council Vice President and the Queen of Sona's peerage comes forward towards Sona. She just looks at Sona and says.
"Excuse me... Sona but it seems like I won't be able to complete contracts. I have been asked to go for a karaoke night" Tsubaki had a small blush on her face when she was asked this.
Sona just narrowed her eyes a little and sighed in disappointment. "Is it Haruto Shimura…"
Tsubaki just meekly nodded. "Y -Yeah…"
Rias just smiled at the display. "It seems like you also have a situation on your hands Sona."
Sona's face went back to her calm looks. Then she just pushed her glasses up slightly. "Haruto Shimura is OUR problem. He definitely has a connection with the supernatural. The higher-ups know something but have decided to keep us in the dark. Even if I only learned of this when Onee -sama slipped and said Haru -tan… I suspect that he isn't a human or is probably a secret member of my sister's peerage and she sent him here to look after me."
Rias just took a thinking position with her hand clasping her chin. Though Sona knows that isn't a habit of hers or anything like that but her friend instead does it because she thinks it makes her look smarter.
"But doesn't that seem like a little bit of a stretch? I mean he is most likely really eighteen, he still has a family, and the documents that show he is a true eighteen-year-old. Plus he was Issei's childhood friend, even though they don't hang out too much now due to… well you know… Issei's hobbies. So because of his age, I don't think he is your sister's peerage member." Concluded Rias, already having done her own investigation on the matter.
When Sona hears this she was about to say something when suddenly she hears a couple of knocks and the door is opened.
*knock*
*knock*
The one who entered is a handsome young man with a swimmer's built, he has black hair and grey eyes. He is... Haruto Shimura. He looks at them and smiles.
"Sorry if I was interrupting something. But I wanted to know if Tsubaki is free?" Asks Haruto, with a gentle smile on his face.
Sona just narrows her eyes and Rias smiles. The other council members just looked at Haruto, with Saji even having an envious look on his face. He is about to say something but Sona just gives him a scolding look and the words just get stuck on his throat.
Then Sona just looks at Haru. "Yes she is free. But as her friend, I would like to ask you… why would you want to go on a date with Tsubaki? And what are your intentions?"
"Well obviously she is my friend and we are just going to have some fun. I even invited some of my other friends. If you want, you too can come to karaoke, Sona." Offers Haruto with a smile still on his face.
"No thank you. And you can't take any more of the student council members or we wouldn't be able to do our job." Sona courtly refused the invitation. This classmate of hers is truly perverted in his own way. He is too much of a playboy and he even has a handsome face to go with his playboy personality. Truly a deadly combination. Even her queen had fallen for his charm.
But Haruto just turned towards Rias and aked. "What about you Rias, do you want to come with us? Don't worry everything is on me."
Rias just smiled a little and said. "Yes, I don't see why not."
Sona just looked at Rias with wide eyes. She was a little shocked at what her friend just said. Contrary to her looks Rias wasn't just some party dumb girl or anything like that.
Haruto just smiled at Rias and said. "Welcome then, I am sure that you will lighten up that party Rias. Anyway, we will be meeting at Ryujo Street. That is close to the karaoke place we were planning to go."
Haruto then just waived and went away. When he did that Sona just looked at Rias with a questioning look and asked. "Why would you do that? I know that you don't have some type of silly crush on him like most of the other girls."
Rias just smirked while she said. "Well, I am going to get some information out of him."
Sona just smirked. "Are you sure you even know how to do that? I mean you aren't exactly the sharpest tool in the box."
Rias huffs. "What is that supposed to mean?"

Later that day after classes and taking care of some stuff with the ORC. Rias and Tsubaki set off to go towards the meeting place, they were still wearing their school uniforms. As they were walking Rias decided to tease Tsubaki a bit by saying. "So do you like Haruto?"
Tsubaki is calm when she hears as she just glances at Rias. "Depending on how you interpret liking someone."
Rias just smiles and is about to say something. But they arrive at their destination so Tsubaki just says. "By the way, we are here now."
Rias and Tsubaki look at the meeting place and see something strange. It was Haruto wearing a suit.
As they got close to him Rias was the first one to ask. "Hi, Haruto… by the way were we supposed to wear something like that also or what."
Haruto just smiled. "Ah, no, not really, I just got out of my shift at the cafe nearby. I work as a waiter there and they have all of us wear butler suits."
Rias just smiles a little at this and she coily says. "Well then… I would like to go there sometime."
Tsubaki just gave Rias a sideways glance without saying anything. While Haruto seems to not notice what Rias meant by this, so he just said. "Oh yeah, the place is nice if I must say so myself. Anyway come with me I will show you the place."
…
As they were walking they just talked about things, what they liked and all that. When Haruto brought up anime… Rias was a little excited and started rambling on about the anime that she likes. Tsubaki also got roped in with them, even though she doesn't like anime, she does like old history and they talked about anime with that genre.
Without even noticing both Rias and Tsubaki became comfortable around Haruto. Rias was truly having fun, she had an excited look on her face like a kid on a sugar rush.
Tsubaki was also a little amused at Rias's antics, and she didn't even know that anime had a history genre. She couldn't help but think. 'Maybe I should start watching some anime during my free time.'
What they both didn't know was that they were getting very familiar with Haruto. They were being roped in by him without even noticing.

When they arrived at the Karaoke place, Rias and Tsubaki looked around and saw that the place looked fancy for a karaoke place. It was a building with several floors and it had lights all around it, also it didn't look like a sketchy place at all.
Also, they noticed that the place even had a guard at the front, he looked like your everyday bodybuilder, when the guard saw them he just smiled and said. "Hello there Haruto, seems like you brought some company today. Is one of them your girlfriend or something?"
Haruto just smiled. "I wish that was true but it sadly isn't Kira."
Then the guard just smiled and said. "Bahahaha… Even with that handsome face, you have terrible luck with women."
"C'mon now Kira, don't be an asśhole." Whines Haruto jokingly.
..
After a couple more jokes between Haruto and the guard, they enter the building and go to a room that Haruto had made reservations for.
When they enter, they see something nice…

Hehehehehe… bet ya didn't expect the time skip did ya? Unpredictable as always, now the MC is a mystery to everyone... (except me)... we will see what he has been up to.
