10 Chapter 9

I took Prometheus, Medusa and Atlas back with me to the moon. I gave Prometheus his first task as my subordinate to help me in the creation of the moon mortals.

"Lord, to create humans I gave shape to mud, while Metis gave them the wind of life. It was all a scheme, we made in other to replicate the miracle of mortals' creation done by that weird patheon lord Yahweh. We adapt it to work with the mythical world of our pantheon. Only a woman like Athena could give life, while I could only give.

Those were the basic differences between the conditions to make humans here and in Eden."

"You will help me give the moon people shape. No need to create a new one, it can be human-like. And about the breath of life, I hope Medusa can help me with this."

"Sure, sir," Medusa said, while Prometheus noted.

I guided Prometheus to a large mud pool in the swamp around me.

"I want to give a special touch of mine to these mortals." I said dropping a bit of my sap on the mud."Please mix it until you form a homogeneous mixture." Prometheus complied.

He made one hundred and twenty-eight humanoid figures, half were male, while the rest were female.

I took a leaf out of my body, which was very painful. Medusa chewed the leaf, in her dragon form, and with dragon breath that was filled with my air essence gave the life energy for the moon humans to be born. The mix of my leaf with her breath created a blueish cloud that encircled the human models. This special ingredient would give an interesting result in the creation of the moon humans.

They were similar to humans, but also different. Even if the moon's gravity was weaker than Earth's, their bodies would be much stronger than a normal human. So they have both super strength and speed.

Their nails were transparent blueish, their blood was literally blue, their bones had a natural light blue tone, instead of the pink tone common in humans; their muscles were blue and their brains were blue as well. Of course, I did not open any of them to know. Their skin color came in several tones just like humans, having little to no difference with them.

Prometheus gave these pieces of information to me after using his human divinity to analyze this new variation of humans we created. He also informed me that they could harness the sun's energy by bathing in it and using it to become stronger, just like me.

I basically was able to make a nerfed version of Kryptonians, the advance was that they would not have the weakness against red sun, which would probably just give them a weaker boost, and against Kryptonite, after all, they were not Kryptonians.

With just their vitality alone, they may be able to live for a thousand years, ignoring the boosting effect the sun has on them.

They have divine energy in them making them similar to demigods, although they were not exactly one. They were more like a demigod species. I was sort of their progenitor, but not exactly their father my characteristics were what defined them as a species, not a changing phenotype, they may pass or not. So basically, their bloodline would not become weaker as time passed.

They were able to fly, not because of some magnetic field bias, but because they were connected to me, the sky. They also gained a certain level of air kineses because of this. There was still a dragonish aura remaining in them, so they could release a certain cold breath like a Kryptonian.

They did not have the lesser vision, but I believe that after they are capable of controlling the sun energy they absorb, they could, in theory, do it. Like humans, however, their eyes are one of their weakest organs, so they were not exactly the best place to release a laser attack, for this they may end up in some more practical place like their hands.

"My lord, they are incredible. All of them are at the peak of Ultimate class." Prometheus said.

"Ultimate class?"

"It's a power level in the devil's ranking system. As a convention, we used this system, because it's quite universal in relationship to other species ranking systems. After all, the devil pillars have artificially crafted bloodlines powers that replicate powers from other species." Prometheus explained. "The ranking goals are something like this: Low, Middle, High, Ultimate, Satan, and Super Devil... Very weak minor gods are classified inside the Ultimate rank."

"Got it. They are strong in relationship to other mortals, but that's not surprising considering the quality of the materials we used. They still have a lot to improve, I hope you can help me give upon them the light of civilization."

Medusa was not a normal dragoness, as instead of being made of pure mana, there was divine energy mixed up in her being, but in no way she could be called a dragon god, she was still far too weak for it, she was more of a dragon demigod hybrid. Helping the creation of the moon humans strengthened the divinity inside her. She gained a deeper divine symbolism, as the one who gave the breath of life, she became 'the mother of the moon humans'.

This also happened with Prometheus, who became the 'architect of the moon humans', but this aspect of him was quickly assimilated into his human architecture one because the symbolical significance of earth humans was still larger due to their longer history.

I gained an aspect of 'moon human progenitor', but it was much weaker than all my other divinities. I could freely suppress the bloodline of the moon humans as their progenitor, but I would not use this carelessly. Trying to rule only by fear, seems like long-term foolishness, as if the fear is overused he becomes hatred.
