Ravel looked to be in pain with tears going down her face. She was holding her arms tightly. She went on her knees and all of us were surprised when her devil wings ripped out of her back through her shirt.
They extended and went throughout the room causing us all to back up from her. The wings started changing color from their normal color of black to red before looking like they were falling off of her body.
They were soon replaced by Angel-like wings with a red color to them. Each feather on her wings was on fire and looked to be dropping embers that vanished before they hit the ground.
The transformation wasn't over though. Ravel was still showing pain and tears. Her wings wrapped around her body making a cacoon.
Wondering what was about to happen. Her wings seem to be set ablaze with a stronger fire than they were before and the cacoon set ablaze with bright red light causing us to all look away.
When the light died down we looked back and to see the cacoon to have crumbled and Ravel was still hunched over on her knees. However, she wasn't moving and her body looked like ash.
She wasn't screaming anymore either. The room was dead silent and we all looked hoping Ravel would move. We waited for five minutes and nothing happened. Eri and Asia both started crying thinking the worst. Eri was the first one whose tears turned to anger.
She looked at me and grabbed a hold of my shirt with tears streaming down her face.
"YOU SAY SHE WOULD BE OKAY! YOU KILLED HER! I THOUGHT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER THAN OVERHAUL! YOU ARE JUST LIKE HIM!" she screamed and started hitting my chest out of anger.
I couldn't say anything and still looked at Ravel in shock. It should have work. She is a part of the Pheonix bloodline. My system explicitly stated it would work.
"I HATE YOU!" Eri screamed, bringing me back out of my thoughts. The words Eri said shocked me and my heart seemed to shatter.
"I-I didn't know. It was supposed to work." I stuttered slightly.
Eri surprised me when she smacked me and then turned and ran out of the room.
I put my hand up to my cheek and just looked after her shocked.
"You killed her." I heard a whisper from Asia.
Looking over at her I saw tears in her eyes while she looked at me shocked.
"I thought she was supposed to be our family? How could you risk this if death was possible?" she asked.
"I didn't know death was possible. It didn't say." I answered her.
Asia didn't say anything else and ran out of the room after Eri. I walked toward Ravel and fell to my knees.
"You weren't supposed to die. I didn't know. I didn't know." I started saying.
"Always the same aren't you, Mavros?" I heard a female voice that sounded familiar. I looked up and tried finding the source.
"Who are you?" I asked not to find the source.
"I guess our last battle did more than I thought. You used to be more powerful than me. I barely won that fight with you. It did weaken me tremendously though. If that worthless Biblical GOD didn't find your soul, I would have been rid of you. Honestly, he didn't even know what he had with you. Just thought you were some normal soul. As if a normal soul could survive the Dimensional Gap. I'm surprised he was able to reincarnate you. Your soul was something that I couldn't even fathom in the past." the voice said.
"YOU DID THIS TO ME! WHAT DID I DO TO YOU!?" I screamed.
"I guess you could say you used me as an experiment. You were someone with tremendous power and was bored. You tried creating... an opposite. Which was me. Might as well call me your daughter. You took a soul that was barely able to stay alive and gave it power. Nothing like what the Biblical GOD gave you though. Just a tremendous amount of power." the voice told me.
"Wouldn't that be a good thing? I gave you another chance at life and power. Why do you want to get rid of me?" I was confused.
"You want to know why? YOU ABANDONED ME! I forgot to mention my soul was that of a baby's. I had no life before you. I had no family, no friends, no memories, nothing. The only thing I remember was always being alone. You couldn't even treat me like a daughter. You created me then kicked me into another world. You were nothing like you are now." She said with rage that went into annoyance.
"Did you try talking to me? I'm sure I would have listened." I told her.
"You laughed at me and sent me away. From that moment onwards I wanted to be rid of you. However, you had an ace in the hole. I couldn't deliver the final blow on you, it was something you did when creating me." she said before sighing out of annoyance. "Which I still haven't been able to break. I ended up sealing you in the dimensional gap after a long battle with you. Don't understand how your memories were sealed though. Knowing how you were was probably another safety measure you did."
"So, I did this to myself? Sealed my own memories?" I asked.
"Most likely. It actually probably was what allowed the Biblical GOD to reincarnate you." she answered. "I'm done answering your questions. I need to get stronger before you can regain your memories. Honestly, it was interesting to find out that some of the abilities you wished for were ones you copied from the worlds you used to play around in. I still can't believe you thought they were only anime and books to you."
"Wait! Who are you?" I asked.
