Chapter 18: Talk with a Dragon

I mentioned earlier in a paragraph comment, but I'll say it again here just in case. Issei is in no way going to be a main part of this story, important character, but not the focus. At most he will be a side character providing the occasional comedy relief in the future. Although I have some plans for future Issei's development as a character, it doesn't mean that the focus of this story will shift to him.

Just wanted to make that clear incase there is some confusion later down the line :)

Enjoy

—————————————————————————————————————

I bow in respect to the Welsh Dragon and speak.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Red one. My name is Zell Agares, nephew of the current lord of the Agares clan. It may be hard to believe, but I come in peace.

Your host this time around, Hyoudou Issei, is a strange young man. If you don't believe me, dwell into his most recent memories and you'll see why I say so. I'll continue my explanation after."

I need to earn some trust from the sealed dragon and the only way to do that is by being respectful. I can probably get him on my side and help in Issei's improvement of character.

Ddraig is silent for a few moments, probably simply observing me or actually looking at Issei's memories.

Finally after a few minutes of silence, I hear a long sigh.

Ddraig: "What the fuck. This new host of mine, I have no doubt, is and will be, probably the weakest and stupidist Red Dragon in history and in the future to ever live. I mean, seriously? This, is what I'm stuck with? Remind me to give the Norse Chief a beating when I'm able to.

So, now that I have a decent understanding on my current shame and despair inducing reality, explain. What did you do to my host?"

I chuckle awkwardly at the casual diss at Issei before I recompose myself and give my excuse.

"I have no wish to bring harm to this generation's Sekiryuutei, in fact, I wish to help him. Believe it if you want, or take it with a huge grain of salt, but I've had visions of the future popping into my head since a year ago. Probably a mutation of my Agares clan Time trait ability.

Although I didn't believe in them either, it wasn't until a few events I saw actually came to pass that I began to believe in my visions. Of course, I also take them with a grain of salt.

I've seen what the future brings to a certain extent and in all my visions, the Sekiryuutei has been at the forefront of it all, doing more good than anything. Problem is, what you said is far too true. He is physically and emotionaly weak, extremely so.

That being the case, I have taken the liberty to cast a few hypnotic suggestions to change him for the better and to alter the course of history a little in the kid's favor. Your awakening right now is completely unexpected on my part and if you are well and truly awake after this, then it will alter the entire course of the future, whether for better or worse, I do not know.

That, and I'm trying to save you from a lifetime of despair induced therapy sessions due to the utter stupidity that the brat causes in the future. Even the white one felt bad for you, and that's saying something."

Ddraig took a bit of time to digest my bullshit future vision story. This should ease most of his suspicions but I highly doubt he'll believe it all, which is fine. I did say to take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully he just accepts this future vision ability of mine since it is partially true, afterall I've seen and read what happens in the future.

After a few minutes of silence, Ddraig finally seems to digest everything he's just been told.

Ddraig: "Dragons don't need therapy, you're nothing but a joke. Though seeing as how my current host is like, I fear for my future mental state. My potential therapy aside, even if what you say is true, why would you bother trying to alter the course of history. You do realize you are going against the Fate weavers, correct? Depending on your actions, they will get someone to kill you, getting rid of an inconvenience to them is easier than breathing to them."

Oh yeah, forgot about those. Fate manipulators can go suck a dick, pretentious fucks.

"If they truly try to kill me, I wouldn't mind retaliating. Although not too strong, I am already at the peak of High class and am just waiting to transition naturally into the Ultimate class. I'm 6, turning 7 in 2 months. At my age, I believe that is more than enough to show my future potential and I have ways to run and hide if my enemy is too strong. Whether they be the Greek fate sisters or someone else, I wouldn't mind chucking them into an artificial black hole."

Ddraig was silent for a moment before he burst out in ridiculing laughter.

Ddraig: "HAHAHA, kid you truly don't know what your messing with. You will die a dog's death at their hands. You can't kill them, much less hurt them. Besides, what can possibly be so bad in those future visions of yours? Probably just my host being beaten up for some perverted antics or something by the supernaturals."

I was a little annoyed and was tempted to just leave since I can't really touch Ddraig at the moment besides killing Issei. But I let it slide. There are seriously some world ending, catastrophic enemies in the future, and ROB probably added some more to inconvenience me but I'm pretty sure 1 is enough to shut him up.

"Trihexa"

And it was. Ddraig instantly shut up and I could feel that he shuddered a bit upon hearing that name. I continued before he could talk back.

"Trihexa will be unsealed by the fucktard descended from Lucifer and the Qlippoth group who believe they can control it. And with it's revival, absolute chaos would ensue for both the human and supernatural worlds.

In the visions that I saw, it takes the combined effort of the current Maou Lucifer, the chief Norse God Odin, Destruction God Shiva, and more to DEFEND AGAINST and even more to SEAL him again and it will take a couple thousand years with them inside the seal themselves to take him down.

Ophis and Great Red could get involved, but a clash between the 3 of them could literally and physically end the world as we know it which is why I probably didn't see them in any of the visions I had of the future.

Ddraig, crazy shit is going to happen in the world soon, and your host is somehow at the forefront of it all. But he is weak.

I plans to change a shit ton of turning point events that happen though my success in doing so is still to be seen. I've already changed the fate of 2 people relevant to the future and they are now living happily with me.

Anyway, I have yet to see anything beyond that point but I know something else is bound to happen."

Ddraig takes it all in silence. I don't know what could possibly be going on in that dragon head of his but hopefully he is willing to cooperate and not hold a grudge against me for hypnotizing Issei. Though I doubt he will.

Finally after moments of silence, his deep gutteral voice sounds once again, sighing, deflated, amd this time lacking any of the previous pride.

Ddraig: "Damn. Even if what you say is mostly lies, too much of what you said lines up with what the idiots of Qlilppoth and the Lucifer brat would do. My only question is how they managed that. No one but the Biblical God himself knows where Trihexa is sealed. Answer that and I will do my best to get this kid ready for that time."

It looks like I managed to convince him. I think Ddraig might have mellowed out a bit throughout the years he's been sealed and his earlier tone was just a facade. Although not planned, this meeting with Ddraig worked out better than I ever thought it would.

"The Sephiroth Grail possesor of this generation, according to what I know, posseses a sub species of the the gear in its base form. Using one of the goblets, Rizevim Lucifer somehow managed to track down Trihexa somewhere and unseal him. I don't know how he did it, but he did. Sociopathic fucker."

Ddraig: "Fair enough. You have already begun to tamper with the future and fate, might as well do it again. Find and retrieve the Sephiroth Grail possesor and eliminate or control it. This should be enough to completely subvert the timeline of events. I'll do what I can on my end to help the boy grow into a proper Sekiryuutei."

Ddraig huffs out. Looks like he is onboard with my plan to toughen up and striaghten up Issei.

"About that, to reach his full potential, the kid might need a race change. In the visions I've had, it's only through meeting a certain devil heiress and dieing to a fallen angel that he begins his journey to the top. With your help now, he will only be stronger and reach heights farther than what I've seen.

Becoming a devil is probably one of the crucual turning points in the future that kick start the kid's journey to the top. Though I don't know what would happen if he stayed human, it's up to you to advise him on his future. Take care of the kid, I'll also cast a spell so that he evades any other supernatural's radar but it will only last a decade at most.

This is the only help I will provide for him, there is a lot more in this world for me to do and I don't plan on babying him until he grows to power. I have better things to do like forming my peerage and seducing some milfs. Especially the milfs.

Later Ddraig, I'm off."

I nod to the sealed dragon one final time and jump out of the room. I never expected to meet Ddraig this early or that I'd manage to convince him with my bullshit.

Honestly, I'm just relieved that he agreed so easily. Thought I would have to have a couple hour long debate with the sealed douche. Whatevs, I've been gone too long and I need to get back to the neko sisters. We leave to Kyoto soon but before that, I want to make a quick stop to a certain clan.

They have something that I want and I will stop at nothing to obtain. An innocent will have to die but it's not really my problem. I'll throw the blame at someone else, probably one of the other clans and get them to go to war. Maybe the Himejima clan, help out little Akeno or something.

That should also help the youkai and the Shinto Gods regain some control over them of the situation devolves into a war.

I can only hope that I'm able to do what I think I can do. I should probably test it first though, but I don't know the possible consequences that it may bring so I'm a little reluctant to do so. Messing with souls isn't my thing, more Hades thing if anything.

My thoughts come to a grinding halt the moment I feel some killing intent directed straight at me.

I jump down from the house roof I was running accross and make a quick landing on the open street. My senses are going off quite a bit despite my assailant being weaker than me. Whoever it is, they're someone who can jump classes to fight those above them.

Scanning my surroundings, I pinpoint the source of the malice amd when I turn to it, my eyes widen and I'm forced to jump away from my position.

*BANG*

A loud gunshot echoes through the area and a large crater is made in the spot I was just standing on. I look at the crater in shock.

That bullet is strong enough to blow off my arm even with my body strengthening magic running at full power.

I jump away again as another gunshot echoes and another crater booms into existence. I look over to where they're coming from and dash towards the assailant, ziggzagging through the gunfire.

I can say with confidence that whatever gun is shooting at me is most likely a sacred gear. A gun type sacred gear is something I've never heard of and whoever is shooting is an excellent marksman.

As I approach closer, I see my assailant stand up from their crouched position and the large sniper held in their hands slowly dematerializes and turns into a pair of white and golden flintlock pistols in both of her hands.

As my assailant fully comes into view, I stop. Her dark purple hair is tied in large single braid that goes down her back and she has a large pair of round glasses. She wears a black full body combat suit that tightly hugs her voluptious figure, with plenty of knives and different gadgets lining her belt and black combat boots.

She lools familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. As I stand 10 meters away from her, she finally speaks.

???: "I didn't expect to be hunting a child, but that makes no difference. Don't blame me, blame the guy who hated you enough to put a price on your head."

Her words over, she points her pistols at me and opens fire, releasing a barrage of bullets on me.
