3 Opening the Gift.

<The Following Day, Zako's Pov>

As I returned to the Young lords camp, a black smog rushed out from his tent, the smog quickly covered the surrounding area, it began to rise, blocking out any source of light it could find. As Darkness fell, I moved towards the central camp to find both the Young Master and Methus staring at each other, Methus seemed a little ticked off as Micheal seemed calm, a little too calm.

"Young master are the troops in position?"

Micheal looked up from the map he was staring at, making eye contact with me before looking straight back down.

"The canyon to the north here is the likely route they will use to attack the keep, 500 stalkers are waiting for them there. The stalkers have been informed that they are to harass the enemy as they try to engage using bows, some will attempt to assassinate commanders as well.

This river here, a few hundred yards from the canyon exit will be used as our main attack point, 3000 juggernauts have taken a defensive position along our side of the bridge with orders to destroy it before the Devils can cross.

This will force them to attempt to fly over the water to attack us, this is where the other 500 stalkers come into play as well as the 1000 Scions, our magic specialists. Using a mix of the force and demonic power they will attempt to bring down as many enemies as they can. forcing the enemy to land at the feet of the Juggernauts.

With the enemy battered and defeated by this point is when we go on the offensive, I will lead the remaining elite troops in a counter-attack at the centre of the enemy line, slaying as many as I can. This is of course a rough plan as a Battle never plays out how you expect it to."

I smile at the thought process the young master has gone through," I agree with most of the plan young master, I believe we should gamble however, I suggest we position the elite troops behind the enemy once they have entered the field of battle, forcing them to choose between fighting the elites or juggernauts. "

To my surprise, the young master nodded his head, "Well Zakos, you take 500 of the elites and try to flank them as you suggest, I will take the other 500 and reinforce the Juggernaughts, if we are going to make them fight us, we must make sure the centre holds."

*Bang*

I instantly draw my sword and launch myself at the cloaked soldier as he appears at the side of the Young lord, to my surprise however the soldier sidesteps me and returns to the young lord's side. "Have you not met Matos, Zakos? He is the leader of the Stalkers, he can use the fog to temporally turn himself invisible, all of the stalkers can. "

Matos simply nods in my direction before he knelt towards the young lord, announcing "The enemy has entered the Canyon, the young Lord should make final preparations."

The young lord nodded his head before turning to us, a smile appeared on his face, one I have only seen on his father's face, one filled with extreme blood lust, "Today is the start of our domination of all realms, you have your orders and know-how to carry them out. I wish you all the best and I will see you on the other side."

<Micheal's Pov>

It's time, time to open father's gift, as I approach the box, I notice a small jade crystal, destroying it will turn the shroud on indefinitely. I never really understood the Shrouds, I know that they are something my father created to turn waste Demonic energy in the air into Force energy, I don't understand how though. He said it was based on some long lost technology but I know he is keeping its true origin a secret.

As well as creating a large amount of the Force energy, the shroud concentrates into those who can wield it, like a circuit of sorts. I asked my father how he came across these things and he simply said he was an alchemist long before he started up our House.

Placing my hands over the box, I gently lifted off the pristine Lid, what I saw made my eye bulge, inside the box was a sword. A sword covered in loads of runes of a language I do not understand. Alongside the sword was a piece of card, addressed to me.

'A gift for my Son, A Sith Sword, a sword designed to kill those who stand before its master, as both you and the sword develop a connection, you both will develop substantially. The Runes on the swords will give you major boosts in your combat ability, to claim the sword cut your hand with it, let it feast on your blood.

Take the sword and carve a victory for our House, I believe in you Micheal, prove me right.'

I grabbed the sword and the small Jade crystal, slicing my hand open with the blade, caused the sword to glow in a dark crimson colour as each rune on the sword light up one by one before fading once more.

The Sword itself reached out to me through the force, trying to make a connection to me, once it did a small snarl echoed through my mind, "Prove yourself to me."

(A/n it is said in Star wars that a great Dark side user can create a sort of conscious or sentience when they properly created a Sith sword. This sword and Micheal's Father's sword are not normal Sith Swords, more will be explained as the story goes on.)

Sword looks like this.
