1 Chapter 1

I died in the most cliche way possible way. That's right you guess it, Truck-kun. I have been reborn into one of the anime I hate, Highschool DxD as the wielder of the True Longinus and arrogant hypocrite Cao-Cao. How do I know this? Before I found myself in my new mother's womb I was in an endless void with an ever-changing color sky with a giant red dragon doing tricks along with holy light surrounding me in my mother's womb.

Though I was glad I was given a chance to live again, even an anime like Highschool DxD spending 9 months in the womb in total darkness was freaking scary. The only thing that kept me sane was the light from the True Longinus to comfort me.

Once I was 'born' I started planning ahead. As much as Highschool DxD is portrayed as an anime with the good guys always winning and with little to no bad things ever happen. Which is total bullshit this universe might be scarier than the Nasuverse because the Age of Gods is still here. I need to grow strong enough before I determine my own fate in this world. First I need to have a good base then find a teacher in both martial arts and magic since I don't like the idea of using my spear as a crutch.

Since I was a baby I had to endure many embarrassing moments such as sucking breast milk from my mother. Any way other than those my infant years was not really exciting since I could do very little as a baby but what I could do was start on my magic and sacred gear training.

After a few months after I was reborn I tried summoning my spear at night and succeeded. The True Longinus was the size of a stick so I theorized it was proportional to my size which was good to know. My spear has a passive ability which is to coat things in holy light which I practice at night trying to coat my entire body at night. Other than experimenting with the True Longinus I try recreating spells from other anime and sources. Which was freaking hard since I had to do manual calculations. 'Devil's have it so easy.' But I was able to create the 3 basic spells of the Nasuverse structural analysis, reinforcement and projection.

How was I able to use magic? Well I open my magic core. Magic cores are kinda like an invisible organ in a human's body that allows mana or magical energy to flow through our bodies and allow us to perform magic along with highly advanced calculations. It took me a total of 6 months to open my magic core and another an entire year to perform the 3 spells I recreated. Thank God...no thank Michael that I got curious about how human's in DxD could use magic and checked the official wiki before I died.

These spells might not look like much in the eyes of the supernatural but Shirou Emiya was able to take these 3 basic spells and refine them into sorcery which would allow him to fight Dead Apostle and Servants on equal footing. And you damn well bet I will do the same.

Once I was able to crawl I immediately used structural analysis on myself and everything I could get my hands on. Then at night I projected the items then strengthened them at night and did it over and over every day.

Another I did was training my reflexes. I was still in a baby body so physical training was impossible but training my reflexes was another thing. My new house was basically a dump. There were holes all over the roof, there was a small hole in the corner of my room and when it rained I tried sweeping my hand in the rain without getting my hand wet.

Once I was 5 I was allowed to leave the house since my 'parents' deem me mature enough to leave without any supervision. Yeah like I believed that crap. They are hoping I would get lost and never return. Not that I blame them, they are heavily in debt and I was just another person to take care of. I'm more of a burden to them.

Anyway since I now could leave with no one watching me I went to the small forest south of the town to start my actual training. I began doing the old Saitama's routine 100 set-ups, 100 push-ups, a 10 kilometer run and 100 squats everyday for the past month while using reinforcement to strengthen my body.

The only reason why I was training my body at my current age with no worry about muscle deterioration is because of the mana in the air. Mana passively increase the physical capabilities of every living thing on the planet even when they are just normal civilians. Just look at Vasco Strada even as an old man in his 80s could defeat Issei and Vali in their upgrade juggernaut drives without tiring.

After a month of training nonstop I had the strength to put a small dent in a tree. Nothing special in supernatural standards but for someone like me after a month of training. While I know humans will never reach the level of natural strength as most supernaturals but for a normal human it's an enormous achievement.

Yet as I marvel at my own achievement it was also a reminder to why I hate 'Highschool DxD'. The character and how they choose to fight and how the main cast gain their power. During the anime and the bits of the light novel I read and watched I learned there were at least a few different categories.

First are the badasses irregularities. Such as Vasco Strada, Sairarorg Bael and Crom Cruach. They each defied expectations of their races. Vasco could fight and defeat Kokabiel, a survivor of the great war and one of the strongest Archangels. Sairaorg who was considered a failure by his entire race yet he poured in sweat and blood to reach Satan class with just his body and became the first and only pure-blooded devil to wield a sacred gear and a Longinus to boot. Finally Crom who ignored his instinct as an evil dragon and trained deep in the mountains in isolation and reached his peak. Each of them surpass what was thought possible by their respectable races.

Second are the arrogant type of fighters. Examples are Diodara and my canon counterpart. They believed they were superior towards their opponents when in actuality they were weaker than their opponents. Like seriously cannon Cao-Cao didn't even train his body to it's almost limit to awaken touki. Hell none of the members of the Hero Faction actually awaken touki as far as I know. As for Diodara we all know he was a weakling the moment we laid eyes on him.

Third are the lazy fighters such as Kiba and Akeno. They did nothing to improve their current skills or find creative ways to use their powers. Kiba was basically a far weaker and less edgier Sasuke Uchiha's never really trained to the extreme which I hated especially since he had an actual reason to grow stronger! As for Akeno, 'my cousins and grandparents killed my mother while daddy wasn't here. So that means he abandoned us! So I won't use his holy lighting that I inherited from him!' I really hate her reason for why she didn't use her lightning especially since she could have one shot Riser!

Fourth are the spoil fighters such as Issei and Rias. Now this category can be divided into 2 categories. First the ones who receive power-ups without any harsh trials such as Issei in season 4 of the anime. During his fight with cannon Cao-Cao he gained 'Crimson Cardinal' mode when the previous 'Red Dragon Emperors' gave up their hatred of their white counterparts and gave Issei their power because of boobs! Like seriously there was no fight, no epic speech, no test to do to see if he was worthy for their power! No they gave Issei their power because he somehow convinced them that boobs trump hatred! Bullshit! Naruto had to fight Kuruma in a life and death situation and then fight Obito along with the 7 biju under his control to gain Kuruma's trust and power! Then there is Rias who is in the category where the people in this category waits for an answer to their problems to land on their laps instead of doing something about it!

Like seriously a human like me who spent 1 month of training could make a dent in a large tree just imagine what Rias could have done if she spent the time she found out about her engagement with Riser and cannon to train alongside her peerage. They could have curb stomped Riser and his peerage.

Instead she wasted her time with anime and manga. As a fellow otuka I can understand being sucked into a good anime or manga yet she took it too far! During my previous life I never got too soaked in anime or manga to where I ignored an important test to study for. Yet she spent all her years wasting time where she could have been training.

Yets not forgot how she managed her peerage. Akeno has daddy issues, Kiba has avenger syndrome, Gasper has low self-esteem issues and Koneko has big sister issues. Each one of her servants have some sort of psychological issue and you want to know what Rias does to help them. Nothing! That's not even the worst part in my opinion. What I have a problem with is how she acquired her peerage. After hearing how they all became a part of Rias peerages just screams of set-ups either by her or her family.

I sighed out loud. No use crying over spilt milk at this point. I went back to training.

I am now 6 years old and my training has progressed nicely. I could now knock down a full fledged tree with a punch. Though I would have to use reinforcement to do so. Great progress for someone who's in a child's body!

So after my year long physical training I decided to get started on learning martial arts because without a fighting style I will just throw my weight around. Though there was a small problem with that plan. I could not afford to learn martial arts due to my parents money problems. So in order to get around the problem I created my own original spell 'Imprint'.

My imprint spell took inspiration from Shirou Emiya's ability to copy the styles of heroic spirit just by looking at their weapons. It took me around 7 months to perfect the spell. I used the spell on the instructor of the local kung-fu dojo.

Using the imprint spell allows my body to learn the muscle movement of the stances and techniques of the master. The only drawback with this spell is that even though I know how to throw a punch I still need to practice the techniques to commit it to my muscle memory. So at best I could be considered a prodigy.

Another thing I was able to learn through the local kung-fu teacher was that he was quite good with a bow staff which I used his techniques with my spear and exercise to strengthen my lungs. At first I was confused as to why a martial arts master would need to strengthen their lungs and how was it useful in a fight?

Then I remembered something. I read an article about kung-fu after watching 'Kung-Fu Panda'. The breathing exercises are used to strengthen our muscles.

'I'm an Idiot!' I yelled in my mind. I remember one of my favorite anime/manga from my past life. Demon Slayer, it was a short shounen that was around 200 chapters long but I loved it for it's realistic fights and themes.

So I trained my ass off with the breathing exercises along with my kung-fu techniques. It took me a year and a half to become proficient in kung-fu.

I was now 7 and after spending 3 years training my body I figure it was time to train with my sacred gear. The reason why I waited 3 years before even touching it again when I started my training was simple. I didn't want to get drunk with its power. During my time as a baby using the spear was 100 times easier than recreating the 3 basic nasuverse spells. I didn't want to be tempted to walk down the easy path to attaining power like my canon counterpart did.

I was right to do so. Training with the [True Longinus: The Spear of Destiny] was way easier than training my body. Unlike the [Boosted Gear] or [Divine Dividing] it didn't have any physical or magic restrictions that is caused by the user like having a weak body will limit the number of times you can [Boost] or [Divide].

It was a weapon to kill, the Church(true believers) and Heaven would probably gasp at me calling God's most holy relic a weapon. The spear allows me to control the holy light it produces so I tried coating my fist with holy light while not having the spear and I did. The coat of light was weak but it was understandable that I still needed to train with the technique.

Another way I could use my passive control over light was light beams. I took inspiration from Medea from 'Fate Stay Night' and Shizuri Mugino from the 'A Certain' series. I create a sphere of light in mid-air and shoot beams out of them, my current limit is 3.

My progress during these last few months trying to master my Longinus was probably the easiest training since I started. Though I still train my body the most since I don't need to spend too much time training with my spear.

During the past couple of months I started planning on my future plans. I know the future of this world and the people who will be big players in it. I have already decided what my plans are. Humans will never be free of the supernatural because of the sacred gears given by the 'God of the Bible'. That much I can agree with canon me. So I will create an organization to protect humans along with half-breeds and anyone who wishes to live in peace from the supernatural. That's my goal.

How am I going to make my goal into reality, you ask? Simply, I create alliances with the Factions of the supernatural world. Thanks to my knowledge about the faction leaders personality and goals I could help them in return to them owing me. I can use my favors by implanting laws to protect humans not involved with the moonlit world and to give me land to which I can build a city for the outcasts that only want to live peacefully.

Though that's easier said than done. In order for me to do that, I must gain a reputation for them to take me seriously. I must first gain a reputation in the moonlit world to get people behind my idea. I'm not going to be like my canon counterpart wield my spear like an idiot to gain yes-man. No thank you.

The easiest way for me to gain support is to go to a faction to sponsor me. The easiest way to gain a reputation is to join the [Biblical Faction]. Specify the [Heaven Faction] since I wield the

[True Longinus] it's basically a free pass but I have to deal with that religious brainwashing bullshit. Another faction would be the Grigori, Azazel is by far the most flexible leader out of the Biblical faction and I could easily gain favor with him. The last and least the Devil faction, yeah fuck those guys! With their slavery system stealing humanity pontentials and all the lives they indavertly kill.

I was now 8 and I was preparing to leave my village. For the past couple of weeks my parents have been giving me strange looks. From what I remember the original Cao-Cao was sold into slavery when he was 8. My last birthday was a couple of weeks ago so yeah I'm getting the hell out of here.

I packed what little belongings I have and jumped out of the window. I run through the village thinking about the last 8 years here. I couldn't say I love this place but I could safely say some part of me will miss it.

I was running deep into the forest. Despite what you might think I have no idea what I was going. I'm hoping that I will be able to get to another village before what little food I have runs out.

"Bsssh" It was a tail cover in scales that came crashing down where I was standing. It thanks to my quick reflexes that I was able to dodge. I looked to see who was my attack and saw, 'Killer Croc from the DC universe?' No seriously my attacker looks just like Killer Croc.

'How did a giant crocodile appear in the middle of China?' I thought to myself

"Don't move kid or else I might not give you a quick death." The fake Killer Croc says

'Well I have done training for the past 8 years might as well see how far I have come.' I thought

"Well lizard face I have no attention on dieing to someone who tries to kill a child like a coward." I taunted which seemed to be effective if the vein on his head is any indication.

"You dare insult me!! Ravager the stray devil who kills his King and his entire peerage, who has been on the run from the Devil Government and the Church for the past 10 years!" Ravager all but yelled.

"Are you an idiot? You are boasting about being a coward who has been hiding for the past 10 years lizard-face." I said

"I'm going to kill you, you fucking brat!" Ravager yelled

Ravager launched me at high-speeds. He might be stronger than me but I was faster than him. Ravager was just swiping his claws wildly while I was studying him. His attacks were wild and sluggish, Ravager was probably someone who fought with brute strength to destroy his enemies. Which was not something to be proud of if you ask me.

After I got his pattern down I began my counter-attack. I pump my lungs with air and strengthen my body with reinforcement. As Ravager slashed with his claws I moved to the right and jumped into the air. I round-kicked Ravager's face which made him stumble a bit then I threw a right hook onto his nose which made him fall onto the ground on his back.

"Bssh" Ravager hitted the ground hard while I was looking at him somewhat disappointed. I knew I was far stronger than a normal human but am I really that strong? No I shaked my head despite what I wish to think this guy was weak.

"You damn brat! I will kill you!" Ravager yelled

"Do you have to yell all the time because it makes you sound like a giant baby to me." I said with a little smirk on my face.

"DIE!! Earth Spikes" Ravager yelled out a spell and something told me to move to my left. I was glad that I listened to it because I narrowly escaped a spike made of earth. 'So this guy could use magic. Not unsurprising but a little more challenging.' I thought to myself.

"Huh you thought I was just a mindless beast of a Rook but I didn't kill my master and the rest of that useless peerage with strength alone! I was quite proficient in Earth magic." Ravager said as he began using more Earth Spikes trying to skewer me alive. Which I kept dodging happily thanks to my new-found sixth sense.

As I got his pattern down I began making my way towards my opponent with my fist gloring with holy light while strengthening my body to the utmost limit with reinforcement and my total concentration breathing.

'This isn't good !' Ravager thought to himself in a panic.

"Earth Armour!"

I saw Ravager's body get coated in a layer of earth thinking it might protect him from my attack. Sadly didn't won't work as my holy fist went through his armour like it was paper.

"Aaah!!" My opponent screamed as he felt his flesh burn due to my holy light. I saw the area where I punched him was entirely covered in burn marks.

"Holy...Light? How?" Ravage all but weeze out.

"You are alive I'm impressed. I thought you were all talk but no game. Guess I underestimated you but playtime is over." I said as I brought out the True Longinus

"That spear...impossible...you are the…" my opponent gasped out in fear but it was too late I already grazed him with my spear which made him turn to dust.

"Just a single graze and it turned him to dust. I guess you were truly weak." I said

"Hoho, looks like I found something interesting. To think I would find the current wielder of the True Longinus in China. If the Church finds out about this they would probably throw a fit. Heheee." A strange voice said. I immediately looked above and saw a,

"Monkey,'' I said out loud. I saw an old wrinkly monkey on top of the tree branch. The monkey's eye-brow twitch and he jumped off the branch he was sitting on, did a back-flip and hit me on top of the head. "Argh." I cried in pain

"I'm no mere monkey, I'm The Monkey King!" The Monkey said

'Wait did he say Monkey King then that must mean..' I thought as regoniction began to show on my face.

"Hoh it seems that you do recognize me." Sun-Wukong satiated as he rubs his chin as if he had a beard.

"You are Sun-Wukong the Great Sage Equaling Heaven." I said in astonishment and in awe

"That's me but it's rude to not give me your name boy." Sun-Wukong said and I straighten my back and answered him

"My name is Cao-Cao, sir." I said as Sun-Wukong looked at me intently.

"Cao-Cao huh well I guess I was right. You are the descendent of the Hero of Chaos during the age of the 3 Kingdom. You do have the same aura as your ancestor." Sun-Wukong said as he looked at me intently as I stayed quiet and nervous wondering what he was thinking.

"Whelp time go." Sun-Wukong said

'What that's it?' I thought to myself

"Wait!" I yelled at him

"Mmh, what do you want boy?" Sun-Wukong asked curiously.

"Please take me as your student!" I said out loud as I got on all four as I asked him. This was a once in a life-time chance to train under one of the strongest beings alive. I will not waste this opportunity.

"Why?" He asked

"Eh?" Was the only intelligent thing to come out of my mouth.

"Why should I take you on as a student? I have my hands full with my descendent Bikou and it's too much work. And do you think being a Hero descendent and the current wielder of the True Longinus is all it takes to become one of my students then you are wrong." Sun-Wukong asked seriously for the first time in our conversation.

I thought for a moment before answering.

"I have a goal that I will one day make into a reality. I wish to create a safe-haven for people like me, who were forced into the supernatural world. Humans who are seen as slaves towards the supernatural. I wish to build a safe-haven for humans who wish to live a normal life and for the innocent strays who are forced on the run because they were accused wrongly. I wish to build a place where the outcast of the supernatural could live happy and peaceful lives! That is my dream but in order to do so I need to grow stronger to fight for and protect my dream!" I stated with conviction in my voice and in my eyes

Sun-Wukong finally opened his eyes looking at me for the first time. "This faction you wish to create for humans and outcasts of the supernatural. It's impossible you know." Sun-Wukong said

"Even so that is my goal nothing will stop me. I will make the impossible possible." I said as I stood clutching my fist in front of me and gave a confident smirk, "Besides aren't humans known for doing the impossible." I said

Sun-Wukong stared at me in silence before he bursted out laughing. Oi are you mocking my dream you old monkey!

"Haaahaaa, That's right I forgot that only humans could surprise me. Yeah it's been so long since I saw humanities unlimited potential. It's the only race to produce true heroes. It seems I forgot that aspect along with the rest of the supernatural world."Sun-Wukong said

"Very well brat. I shall take you on as my disciple." Sun-Wukong said

"Thank you master" I said

"Don't get too excited." Sun-Wukong said as he pointed to a yellow cloud coming our way.

"Is that nimbus from dragon ball!?" I asked in excitement until I felt a terrifying auror near. I looked and saw my new master who looked ready to kill.

"Don't you compare me to that thrice dam faker!" Master said

"Yes sir!" Straighten my back and saluted him

"Now get on, our destination, India!" My master said

And that's the beginning of my rise to be the greatest Hero this world has ever seen.
