[𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫]

"Ugh. Couldn't you take it easier on me? It's definitely going to bruise."

Rubbing her sore arm a girl with raven black hair complained to the man at her side as they walked through the Gremory estate. With a figure screaming elegance despite being no less absurd than Rias' own, she was a beauty like few the man had seen.

"You wanted to grow quickly."

Bluntly responding to the girl with a smirk Noel Purson was every bit as irritating as he was two years ago. Over the last two years, Noel's reputation had somewhat died down as he didn't engage in nearly as many notable activities.

Some may claim his crass attitude toward certain devils and the numerous Phenex assassins he had publicly humiliated over the years was notable enough but he digressed. The point was that he spent two years calmly and lazily.

If there was anything worth mentioning it was that Rias got herself a queen in the form of the girl he was personally tutoring for the time being. Akeno Himejima was growing quickly and would soon reach the level of the average high class devil despite only training under him for just under two years.

She had received training from Baraqiel—her overly doting father—but for the most part she was a blank slate. Of course, that blank slate was also given the first coat known as talent, and the second known as holy lightning by her parents but that wasn't anything special really.

"How's the old fart?"

Perhaps the biggest difference between this reality and the story of Highschool Dxd—ignoring Gasper's death—was that Akeno's mother had survived the attack of her family and Baraqiel wasn't hated by his daughter.

"He's as overprotective as ever. Mother wants to see you again but I don't think you should come."

Sighing in a mix of exasperation and affection Akeno was very bad at hiding the joy she felt at having such a wonderful family. It was a thing almost impossible to imagine at this point in time but it was certainly abundant in this reality.

"Well, fathers tend to be that way."

Lazily replying to her Noel's words were a sort of half truth. In devil society, there seemed to be an odd split born of their general lack of regard toward humanity's social norms. There were many types of people but parents—fathers specifically—seemed to fall into one of two categories. The overprotective doting type and the cold and detached type.

It was far from absolute since Nicholas didn't fit the mold but a general trend was no less credible even if there were a few outliers. Baraqiel fell into the former much like Sirzechs and the Phenex patriarch while people like the Naberius head fell into the latter.

"So I've heard."

Nodding her head lightly Akeno didn't bother continuing the conversation and instead just enjoyed the silence while it lasted. Things were rarely quiet around Noel, not with the adorable orca that followed him like the cutest puppy.

'Fate is weird.'

Briefly taking a look at the sky above Noel once more had the same thought plagued him in recent times. He had gone out of his way to help Akeno as a kind of test. He quite liked Akeno but he wished to see how far fate would bend before something happened.

Yet, despite his wishes, fate never bent very far. Akeno who had both her parents had somehow found her way into Rias' peerage regardless. It was a bit worrying but Noel was confident in himself and those close to him. At the very least, they won't die even if the sky falls on them.

A combination of that confidence, his worries, and his fear led to him making a somewhat stupid decision. However, Noel was a professional stupid decision maker so he was well versed in the field. He had taken the necessary precautions already.

"Noel~!"

Jumping onto his back and hanging on like a koala Morgan had no shame in rubbing her face up against him like a cat would. Smiling at the orca princess Noel raised his hand with his fingers spread wide in the universal symbol of a head pat, an eager glint appearing in her eyes.

"Ow!"

"You're late again."

Holding her forehead Morgan glared at his retreating fingers with only the indignation of a person who deserved it but didn't want to admit anything. She had grown up well over the years but her size was the exception. She very quickly seemed to plateau at just slightly under five feet, a fact she was very annoyed about.

"Hm? You two have plans?"

Curiously interrupting the lover's spat Akeno was extremely interested in what their specific plans were. Although Morgan was a major source of it Noel was a magnet for trouble by choice so she couldn't help but be interested.

"Yeah, a few things."

Lazily replying to his student Noel ignored the orca dangling from his shoulders and manifested a magic circle beneath the two of them before they vanished. Their matter wasn't time sensitive but Noel didn't feel like wasting time.

"How'd it go?"

Not even bothering to look up from her desk full of paperwork Amari tiredly greeted the two. Despite being the Queen—the person the job usually fell onto—Morgan couldn't do paperwork and Noel could but actively chose not to. Hence, it fell into Amaris' hands.

"She's a monster as always."

Taking a seat on the couch Noel didn't mind the grunt of Morgan who was still on his back and reclined deep into his chair. Deaf to the shouts of his queen, Noel couldn't help but laugh at the growth of Akeno. She wasn't far off somebody in his group and that was plenty impressive.

"Noel~! Get up!"

Desperately pushing against him Morgan didn't make any progress not because she was weak but because despite seeming limp and relaxed Noel was putting quite a bit of force into holding her back. She might not look the part but she had the physical strength to crush boulders with ease and throw mountains if she found a way to balance them.

"Don't bully her too much."

Sitting beside the two of them Amaris didn't shy away from laying her head atop Noel's thighs and forcing his hand into her hair. Leaning into his comforting touch she almost started purring when he massaged her scalp.

Stopping her rebellion in fear of disturbing her comrade Morgan just embraced her husband from behind. Amaris didn't often take the time to relax and wind down like this so the least Morgan could do as a cause of that stress was make sure she could enjoy it.

"Wanna raid the Naberius estate with me?"

Unfortunately for them, Noel didn't quite have the same level of care. Shooting open Amaris' eyes locked onto him like a hunter catching prey, a mixture of worry and exasperation in her eyes as she grabbed his cheeks.

"No! How many times do we have to go over this?! We can't just destroy clans because it's funny!"

Pulling on his cheeks Noel's excited eyes didn't change—an interesting sight with his wide cheeks—but Amaris didn't pay it any mind. Over the past two years, Noel had frequent bouts of boredom and his main solution to that was causing trouble in the Underworld.

Amaris had managed to stop most of it—the only real damage being a few destroyed Phenex mansions—but he kept coming up with more. This time, even the solitary Naberius clan couldn't escape his evil eyes.

"It's not because it's funny."

"Then why do you want to destroy it?"

"Because they're torturing children."

Immediately standing up at that Amaris had no more hesitations. She knew what it was like to have an undesirable childhood and if she could help people in a similar boat she definitely would. It may cause a bit of trouble but Nicholas could handle it.

Her Longinus was a concern as it was still a secret to the wider world but that was fine. Sirzechs' ability to conceal it was weakening and Amaris didn't wish to hide it much longer either. If she could save children at such a low cost she wouldn't dream of hesitating.

"Let's go!"

"Hold your horses."

Grabbing hold of Morgan by the tail Noel didn't pay her or her moan any mind and instead summoned a pile of papers in his hand. It was a list of all crimes by devil law that Naberius was breaking, proof of that claim, and so on and so forth.

"Skim through it. It'll help when we get arrested."

Tossing a pile into Amaris' hands Noel didn't even bother to give her one, more confident than ever before that she'd just forget it by the time they actually needed it. With their status, it was unlikely they'd get in permanent trouble anyway but a bit of precaution was necessary anyway.

The Naberius clan was made up of three main members and as a mainly researched focused clan, they weren't particularly strong. Noel hadn't met any of them in person but he could assume they were all around the upper half of the high class at best.

The issue was that they were the invaders. It was common knowledge that you don't fight a mage in their territory and that was not unfounded. While many mages such as Noel did not have particular workshops to call their own most did and they were a powerful boon.

Ajuka was the best example of why not to fight a mage in their home. Within the Reverse World, the Emerald Satan was God. He could create anything he pleased which, while most mages couldn't quite manage that much, wasn't too far off what most mages could do.

"I'll take Alvis, Morgan will handle Dargan, and I'd like you to beat Minerva while trapping us inside the mirror realm."

It was a fairly rudimentary plan but there wasn't really anything else to take care of. At least, not when it came to battle at least. Issues may arise and the political backlash was going to be a bitch but Noel didn't feel like taking it to the higher ups.

It was a bit of selfishness on his part really. He wanted to have the job of dealing with it as a bit of relaxation but if he told Ajuka, Sirzechs, or—god forbid—Grayfia then the matter would be solved with barely any involvement on his part.

Of course, his two peerage members didn't have to know that. It was likely that they did know anyway but Noel wasn't about to put himself regardless. Either way, they were handling it themselves and no amount of political or familial trouble could stop him.

"Are we not involving Rias?"

Rias was something akin to an unofficial member of their little group of misfits. She would love to join them fully but her status as heir of the Gremory clan made that troublesome. Their engagement remained strong after both she and Noel pushed for it and they saw each other often but other than that they were slightly separated.

It was inevitable as the Gremory clan treasured family more than Leviathan desired other's belongings but it was a shame. In all likelihood it would continue until she was around fifteen—the Gremory clan's standards for when a bird must leave the nest—and then she could join them fully in all their adventures.

"Not this time."

Lazily responding to queen Noel didn't even have to think about it. Rias would surely be angry at not being invited but her anger paled in comparison to her older brother. At most, she would pout for a few days but Sirzechs might blow off his arm during their training.

"Don't worry, I'll help you comfort her."

Patting his head with an understanding look Morgan happily agreed to throw herself into the jaws of the beast. Smirking in appreciation and ruffling her hair slightly Noel teleported them away, their destination being a mountain range near the Naberius clan.

All pillar estates and other important locations had various defensive spells, many of which made teleportation nearly impossible. Noel could teleport within in theory, but it would take more effort than it was worth and was a surefire way of alerting their enemies.

"Onward!"

Suddenly atop his shoulders, Morgan held her hand to the sky like a general signaling his army to charge. Unlike those generals though, she was thrust off her mount with a loud squeak escaping her lips as her butt forcefully met the earth.

"Not this time. Dargan is up in the northern sector while Alvis and Minerva are over in the eastern side. You've gotta go yourself."

The three main Naberius forces were quite separated because of the nature of their relationship. As a member of a branch family, Dargan wasn't held in high regard by Alvis who was the family head. As Alvis' Queen Minerva didn't care for Dargan either.

Their relationship was one of unequal business associates at best. Dargan was used as something akin to a pack mules shuttling test subjects over for Alvis while Minerva acted as Alvis' eyes and ears while he was too busy doing research.

"Awww~!"

Groaning in dissatisfaction was what Noel expected but he didn't expect the chaste peck on the cheek before she flew off. Morgan wasn't one to fear public acts of affection but she understood time and place fairly well and often left such things for more private times. Considering the look she sent Amaris right after Noel felt like he was trapped in a scheme he wasn't aware of.

"I didn't tell her where he was."

Sighing Noel couldn't help the grin that crossed his face. Morgan was always an entertaining one and her chaos was part of why he was so happy these days. But, she wasn't the only reason. Not anymore.

"I'm sure she'll find him. There aren't many inside that fit the energy requirements after all."

Comforting Noel with ease Amaris carefully placed the papers in her alternate space and almost lazily looked over their surroundings. Putting an entire state—one as unknown as a researcher's home at that—wasn't too troubling but she had to know where to stop to best conserve energy.

Normally such a thing would be a breeze. Most mages didn't exactly leave their territories in plain sight but the usage of magic to achieve that result would reveal them under enough scrutiny. The issue was what Morgan had done just before she left!

"In that case, I'll take you instead."

Squeaking in surprise much like Morgan had mere minutes prior, Amaris found herself carefully cradled in the arms of Noel. Amaris was well accustomed to this level of contact however that was when she was initiating it!

Floundering in his arms for a few moments her resistance ended when her desires won over her embarrassment. Holding her hands up to her face her fingers were ever so slightly split so she could see, her blush practically present on her long digits.

"So what are you and Morgan planning?"

Noel inquired casually as they flew through the air. Noel had a natural inclination toward wind based magic so the fierce winds were hardly a worry but Amaris wished they still existed just so she could act clueless.

"…I don't know what you mean."

It was such a shoddy attempt at deception that even a child wouldn't believe it and yet Noel simply nodded in response. She couldn't tell if he was acting this way out of consideration or amusement—either way, was just as likely with him—but she didn't really want to ask either.

"As long as you don't take it too far do whatever you want."

That was something of a moot worry with Amaris who worried over every little thing but with Morgan involved even the safest event became riddled with trials and tribulations. The worries were reasonable and yet Amaris couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Like you're one to talk."

"Guilty as charged."

Barking with the melodious laughter Amaris loved so much Noel wore the same infuriatingly smug and annoying yet attractive that he always did. Out of all the devils she had met, Noel was certainly the most devilish of them all.

Confidence that walked the delicate line of arrogance, insanity that just barely concealed itself as normalcy, a sense of mystery that drew anyone with even an ounce of curiosity in, and a possessiveness so strong that he wouldn't let anything go once it was his. He was, in many ways, the model devil.

Maybe that was why Amaris was such a fool when it came to him. That irrational sense of charm was what made her allow him so much freedom. It was that stupid sexy smirk of his that always melted her heart like that. It was his warm and free laughter that made her so docile. It was everything that made him Noel Purson that made her fall so hopelessly in love.

"This is the furthest point east and Morgan is pretty close to as far North as you can get, probably three miles or so past her. Twenty five miles west and forty south should be good enough too. I doubt they'll mind a bit of damage."

Laughing at his own jab Noel didn't care to explain how exactly he knew that. Magic to see far distances wasn't particularly rare nor difficult but the fact she hadn't even felt him use it was only one of his many surprises. He was so chock full of secrets that Amaris had given up counting them all.

Morgan and Rias still seemed plenty excited though so maybe she'll hear an answer in the next three centuries. Whether it be his inexplicable ability to see hundreds of miles away with ease or to make the most realistic illusions she had ever seen without a single magic circle or other clue Amaris had doubts that her two friends would find an answer.

"Put me down and I'll get started."

Burying her own regret Amaris had to stop herself from holding on tightly while Noel put her down, her feet landing on solid air as she floated without a single noticeable answer. It was a fairly complex magic and her wings would be much easier but this looked more elegant! It wasn't the usual pragmatic answer of Amaris Branwen but she was a young girl too!

Manifesting her eight mirrors she felt the familiar hum of power flooding her senses. She wasn't nearly as experienced in using her Longinus but she couldn't deny the power it granted her. An almost infinite amount of confidence flooded her mind and yet she knew it was an illusion.

She wasn't sure if it was because of the nature of the Longinus as a whole or just an oddity of her own but the Yata no Kagami had a bad habit of making her think too highly of herself. Ajuka assumed it was because it was originally a divine tool that its inborn consciousness was so arrogant that it somehow bled over to her.

But the firm, calloused hand that landed on her shoulder was more than enough to allow her to regain control of her mental facilities. She would never admit it—mostly because she didn't have to—but Amaris couldn't imagine a future where she could defeat Noel.

She had seen him fight plenty of times and each time he grew at such an absurd rate that she thought that even somebody a Longinus user like her, people famed for their ability to grow at the drop of a hat, couldn't dream of comparing. How could she be arrogant enough to think she was untouchable?

She could say the same for Morgan and Rias as well. The two cared for Noel just as much as she did—yet another thing she would never admit out loud—but they would happily agree with her. Noel was a monster. He took in everything like a sponge and made progress that would take others years in just a week or two. He was a bonafide genius.

Taking a moment to calm herself one last time Amaris pressed her palms together as one of the eight mirrors surrounding her flew into the air, its size growing until it spread wide enough to cover the entire estate.

Magical alarms awoke with a screech but none of them could alert anyone outside in time before her mirror shattered above them all, the glittering shards reflecting off one another endlessly until a realm of pure reflection where direction was meaningless surrounded them.

"And you say you aren't talented."

Whistling in pride Noel couldn't help but tease his bishop while she wiped the sweat off her brow and caught her breath. Two years ago it would be a miracle if she could make an area the size of a cardboard box and now she had grown this much. If she wasn't a genius nobody was.

"That's not what I said and you know it."

Even if Amaris couldn't compare to Noel she wouldn't deny the fact that she was more talented than the average devil. It was only once that she complained about Noel's absurd growth and yet he continued to hold it above her head for years.

"If you say so."

Raising his arms in mock surrender the stupid sexy grin on Noel's face made it clear he was not going to stop anytime soon. Sighing in resignation Amaris lazily turned her attention down to the dozens of magical canons that manifested from the ground aimed directly at them.

"Should I handle them?"

"Nah I've got it. It'll be a good warm up."

Looking down at the canons in undisguised excitement Noel pointed a single finger at the glowing barrels beneath them. The Evil Eyes of Paralyzation were powerful in combat but they would do nothing to stop inanimate objects like this so Noel had to do something for once.

"Explode."

Taking way too much joy at watching the extremely expensive magical canons explode like fireworks Noel didn't stay for much longer than that. He didn't say anything else and just left her with a small wave as a large woman soared up from the ground, literally.

Scrutinizing her opponent as she approached Amaris almost felt bad for the older woman. She was far from attractive and Amaris couldn't tell if that was because of too much effort or just bad luck. A mix of both probably.

The woman was pudgy and Amaris meant that in the best of ways. It wouldn't be a stretch to say the woman was pushing five hundred pounds and her makeup didn't help. It was well over the top, so much so that it had to be purposeful, with a face whiter than snow and makeup so thick it must have been at least a quarter of an inch in width.

"...Do you want makeup advice?"

It was probably the wrong thing to say, no it definitely was, but Amaris just didn't know what else to say. To begin with, it was impressive that Minerva had grown so much. Devils had an easier time staying fit than humanity did so it would have taken centuries to gain so much weight.

"Excuse me?"

The Queen of Devourance—a very cruel title Amaris now realized—was more bewildered than angered for a brief moment before unbelievable wrath took over. Her face twisted into the face that even the Hindu asuras would fear as her large gut shook violently.

Vile purple energy spread from her as Minerva screamed in a horrifying display of anger. For a moment Amaris almost wanted to switch with Morgan but she had already gone too far. She probably could have originally but after her makeup comment? That bridge was burned.

Resigning herself to the oncoming battle pale white energy—a shade lighter than the makeup Minerva wore—spread from Amaris. Its quantity was far below that of the older devil enhanced by the queen piece but the quality was incomparable.

Ruthlessly squashing Minerva's large but unrefined energy emissions Amaris hesitated for only a few seconds before shooting a beam of concentrated light into the woman's forehead. Falling backward the large woman fell like a meteor.

"Uh… sorry? Maybe prison will help your figure?"

Awkwardly trying to comfort the older devil Amaris completed her job with complete ease. Her opponent was on the weaker side of things but Minerva was still a high class devil who could have her own peerage should she desire one while Amaris was only fifteen years old.

Normally, it would be a miracle for Amaris to last even a few minutes against such an opponent even with Minerva's lack of any prowess. However, Amaris wasn't any normal reincarnated devil. She had, in recent months, been unofficially ranked as an ultimate class devil after all.

[𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞]

"...You smell gross."

Much like her sister in all but blood Morgan's first impression was far from desirable. The man in front of her—Dargan Naberius—seemed kind and scholarly at first glance but his smell was repulsive. It smelled like blood, a hint of decay, and way too much death to be normal.

"Sorry, but I didn't exactly have time to wash up."

Even with the shockingly amicable grin on his face Dargan didn't seem nearly as kind as his face would suggest. His eyes were cruel and horrific and saw Morgan as only another test subject or perhaps just a pile of flesh. They were the eyes that the orca hated above all else.

"Noel won't mind if I kill you right?"

Questioning herself more than anything else Morgan quickly nodded her head as she received a decision much quicker than she reasonably should have. Pointing her finger at Dargan he didn't know if he should feel amused or worried.

On one hand, his opponent was a young albeit famous child while on the other he and his family were trapped within a very powerful and unknown barrier technique. Winning this battle would be easy but there was no point if they lost the war.

"Morgan Forneus right? Children like you shouldn't be playing in such remote places. It would be such a shame if something bad happened while you were—"

Choking on his words Dargan stared at the ball of glowing black and white energy swirling just an inch in front of Morgan's fingertip. Morgan Forneus was often considered to be harmless with her sweet and gentle nature as well as her generally unassuming appearance.

In reality, however, she was one of the greatest monsters in history. Her clan trait—Ingurgitate—allowed her to stockpile essentially infinite energy for her to use however she pleased. That alone would be powerful but it was not the end.

With the ability to instantly transmit enough energy to make a nuclear bomb look like a firecracker, Morgan's true talent lied in her ability to move all her absurd energy reserves in an instant. Whereas Noel specialized in murder Morgan was more suited toward…

"Bye bye!"

Shooting forward the ball instantly grew to a size even mountains would seem small in comparison too as it destroyed everything in its path. Trees, rocks, mountains, lakes, and even the most advanced magical technology could stop her single attack.

"Finally that yucky smell is gone!"

Where Noel was a natural murderer Morgan was a natural destroyer, a tyrant that could destroy with a single thought. Holding her hands on her hips with her head held high she hardly seemed it but it was undeniable. After all, even Noel would struggle to beat her.

[𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐬'𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐛, 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞]

"Seems like Morgan's having fun."

The underground bunker of a researcher lab he was in shook and shivered from Morgan's single strike. Laughing with a clearly amused smile Noel glanced at the man by his side who didn't quite share his amusement.

"Yes, it seems so. I wish she'd curb her enthusiasm just slightly. I put a lot of effort into that garden."

Alvis Naberius, head of the Naberius clan and the piece of shit that tortured kids for his 'scientific development' spoke as calmly as he could manage. Like all pillar heads, he was pristine and elegant but there was obvious resignation in his eyes.

"What made you give up? I thought this would be more fun."

"I'm no fool. I know best when my heart is grasped by death."

The Naberius clan trait was Alteration, the ability to alter the physical structure of anything the user was touching. However, it had been lost to the Civil War leaving the Naberius clan drowning in the difficult political battlefield of the time.

The only reason the Naberius clan retained their status was because of Alvis Naberius who birthed—or, more accurately, reawakened—a new clan trait for them. Sixth Sense, the ability to sense more than any other whether it be something as small as rain coming his way or his own death approaching.

"Why kids? You should have more than enough research subjects over at Inferno."

Glancing at the cages of malnourished, bruised and battered, or downright dead children Noel was glad he was the one who came down here. He wasn't the overly emotional type—especially for people he doesn't know—but even he wanted to kill somebody.

"They weren't enough. Children had the most potential growth whereas those criminals had all but reached their limits."

It was such a devil like answer that Noel almost didn't want to punch him in the face. Sadly, his fist had a mind of its own. Shooting through the air like a speeding bullet Alvis crashed into the wall with enough force to shatter both it and the devil's spine.

"The only reason you aren't dead is because I need you got it? Don't get any ideas just because I'm indulging you."

Lifting the older devil by his brown hair Noel couldn't stop his energy from tainting the surroundings. It was the same white as always and its snow like texture was undeniable but that wasn't something Noel cared for. If he didn't stop himself, Alvis would die.

Taking a deep breath Noel ran his hand through his hair in an attempt to calm himself. If Morgan were here she'd call him handsome and he'd calm down in a flash but she wasn't so he had to take care of it himself.

"Listen up dick head, I've got three things I want from you. I want your money, your contracts, and your evil pieces. Hand them over before I take them."

Money was obvious enough and the contracts were natural but the last one was a mystery even to Alvis. Contracts were essentially a pillar clan's ability to maintain their status and were thus their most important items.

The secret to the source of a pillar clan's wealth was more often than not a complete secret. It was to such an extent that even as the husband of the next heir of the Gremory he wasn't sure of where they got even a portion of their wealth.

The Phenex clan and other clans with similar products were easy enough but most clans—the Purson clan included—kept theirs a secret. Only the Four Satans would know all the ins and outs of how the clans made their money.

And the secret to that was the contracts. Both insuring a stable, unbreakable business partner and keeping it a complete secret these contracts all symbolized a clan's secret to wealth. With that and the Naberius clan's ocean of wealth, Noel would never struggle with money. Not that he would have in the first place.

"That's all of them. As you know my Queen piece has been used and my bishop piece was traded with my brother."

Holding the crystalline chess piece in his hand Noel didn't even try to hide the smirk on his face as he looked at his second set of evil pieces. They weren't quite his yet since he hadn't basked them in his demonic energy enough but they would be soon.

"If you don't mind my asking, what do you plan on doing with them?"

With those words from Alvis, Noel was reminded that what he was doing wasn't exactly common knowledge. Ajuka had told him just because of a sense of rivalry with Sirzechs but Noel wasn't sure even the other Satans knew about it.

"I'm telling you shit. I know how Inferno works."

"Shame. Then take me in Noel Purson. Claim your glory and make your name spread once again."

Holding his hands out obediently Alvis was surprisingly obedient. Like most devs though, Alvis' intentions were not pure. Even if it was only a footnote Alvis was glad to have made his name known in the history books.

Although this would be a big event for a few years due to their age ultimately Noel and his group would be forgotten. It may seem small and insignificant in a few centuries, something hardly worth remembering let alone spreading.

But this was just the start. Noel Purson would continue to grow, he'd grow and grow until nobody could rival him. That was what Alvis' instincts were telling him. When that time came, he would be recalled as the villain that began Noel's rise to glory.

"You don't have to tell me twice."

Slapping some magic nullifying artifact—a multi billion dollar artifact just lying around like garbage in the Naberius storehouse—on Alvis' wrist Noel teleported him up to Amaris for her to handle. He had something else to do.

"Wanna be my cat?"

Hey there, Express_007 here. Hope you liked the chapter.

If it wasn't already obvious, Noel will be getting two cats soon. Besides that, I think I did a pretty good job making it clear that the main cast have all grown substantially. Rias wasn't included here but she isn't behind them by any means so look forward to it.

As always, if you're interested in supporting the creation of this novel I made a patre*on. Just look up Express_007 and you should find it easily enough. You don't have to support but it'd be much appreciated.
