3 Chapter ~ 3: Gift From The Nasuverse

--

" Well... This sucks." Looking at my new room, I sighed.

After a very and I mean very long scolding session from 'Daddy dearest', he told me I was to be grounded for two days.

...Who fucking grounds a four-year-old?! What kind of family am I in?!

' A Magi one.' A laid-back voice said, sounding high as hell. His voice was soothing to the ear.

" Right..." I dragged out my words. He was right. My family is a family of Magi. Magi from the Nasuverse. And we live in Germany. If my new memories serve me right - we live in a mansion that looks just like the Einzbern Castle surrounded by the Einzbern Forest.

" What do I do now?" Noticing a rather tall black wooden bookshelf, filled to the brim with all kinds of books, I raised an eyebrow," Read?"

Scanning the room and seeing nothing as inviting as the books, I let my eyebrow rest," Reading It is."

Right as I sat up, my body was forcefully pushed down.

With widened eyes - a Kaleidoscope portal appeared in front of me.

" Use this well my Apprentice~!" An aged yet youthful voice said. His voice possessing an endless amount of entertainment that sent cold shivers down my spine.

" You trolling-" My voice was cut off as the portal disappeared and a small wooden box was thrown at me, hitting me square right in the forehead.

*Bam!*

" Asshole!" I yelled out, holding my forehead in pain. That really fucking hurts y'know? That damn box was going like 60 mph!

' If it was going 60 mph, you would have been knocked it.' A smart venison of my voice pointed out. His smug smart voice making you wanna punch him.

' Fuck you!' All the other voices yelled as I heard begs of mercy in the background.

' What do you think is in it, vato?'

' Gold I hope!'

' NYET! We need some Vodka comrades!'

' Nein! We need beer and wurst!'

Drowning out the voices, I looked at the rather simple Brown wooden small hand-size box.

Placing the box in front of me - I[W̸̤̆ȅ̷̫̀] slowly opened it up.

" Rings?" My eyebrows shot up. Neatly placed inside the box are plain sparkling golden rings for each of my fingers.

*" Wph al ej...Wph al ej...Wph al ej..."*

' Put me on...' All the voices translated to me. All having a grim tone.

And yet... Why don't I care?

" I, 2,3,4,5," Looking at the rings on my left hand, a wide smile appeared on my face," 6,7,8,9..."

Glancing at the final ring, I slowly it on," 10."

*BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!*

Like a nuke went off in my mind - waves after waves information poured itself into my mind without stopping.

*" Please God Help My Son."

*" Please God help me. I need your assistance."

*" God, why do Mama and Daddy hate me?"*

*" God... Why do people pick on me because I pray to you?"*

*" Oh great Father In Heaven, kill these evildoers!"*

*" Smite these Heretics, MY Lord!"*

*" Please... Please Father come back to us... Please."*

' Voices... Not ours!' In a swift motion, all the new voices that weren't of mine - disappeared.

" What... What are these Rings?"

*Whoosh~*

Hearing something, I looked up. Above me, is a single piece of paper floating to me.

*Whoosh...*

When the paper landed in my hand, new information flooded my mind.

[ Rings Of Solomon(-Soul Bound Item): These aren't actually the rings Solomon created to bind and control demons. Rather, it was created in the image of such an item. These rings also known as the Rings of Binding Spirits, grant the power to force contracts on Spiritual and Supernatural beings.

-In theory, so long as the will of the user is greater than their target's, a contract can be forced on the target. In reality, there's several other factors. If the target has Magic Resistance, then the rings will be less effective. If the target has much larger mana reserves than you, you'll need a truly overwhelming willpower in order to force a contract on them. Or if they have a greater will than you, you can resort to using overwhelming magical energy to force a contract on them in spite of their superior will. Failing to impose a contract on a target can cause spiritual damage to the user of the rings, with the damage being dependent on how badly outmatched they were.

-A clever Spirit or a being of Supernatural that realizes they're outmatched can alter the terms of the deal. Essentially, they can accept that a deal will be imposed on them and focus on making the terms of that deal more favorable to them. This is much easier for the target to do, as opposed to trying to prevent the formation of the contract entirely. But most Spirits and Supernatural beings won't have the time or perspective to think of this option.

- Lastly, The user of these rings can hear and answer prayers to God, due to them being the closest to "GOD" than anyone and anything else ]

' On boy. These Rings are overpowered! Especially in a setting like DXD with Supernatural beings in the open!'

In marvel at the rings, ideas flooded my mind, and an overwhelming "sense" connected itself to me. Themselves to me.

Very soon, I broke out in a fit of laughter as an endless amount prayers assaulted my mind.

" Fuhahahaha!"
