6 An involuntary vegetarian who loves meat.

I love meat.

I have eaten meat ever since I was allowed to chew.

I have grown up eating meat.

I was a picky eater growing up, I mean...I am a picky eater so my parents and grandparents would always provide me with delicious, juicy, meat every meal.

I prefer land meat over other types like fish. I prefer pork over chicken. The greasier the meat, the better.

My stomach is growling at this moment as I write about meat.

I love bacon, char siu or Chinese BBQ pork, and the Korean BBQ samgypusals. I don't discriminate when it comes to pork, chicken, and beef.

Omg..

My mouth is watering up.

Recently though my personal trainer switched me to a vegetarian diet.

I have suffered from insomnia ever since high school and recently it has gotten much worse. It has gotten to a point where it would take me at least 2 hours to fall asleep only to wake up every 2 hours.

So I would go to bed around 9 pm but all asleep around 11 pm. Then wake up at around 1 am, fall back asleep, wake up at 3 am, fall back asleep, wake up at 5 am, fall back asleep, then wake up at 7 am to start my day.

I would never feel rested.

My trainer thought that a drastic switch in my diet could help since those melatonin pills did pretty much nothing.

I tried all the herbal remedies like lavender oils, taking a bath, getting a massage, stretching before going to bed, listening to white noise, and even listening to one of those random monotone narration about politics and whatnot. I could not fall asleep.

So now I am an involuntary vegetarian that loves meat.

I love meat so much, my gaming ID is OnlyMeat.

I am incredibly sad.

And hungry.

It has been a month since I have been put on this diet and so far, my insomnia isn't getting better. But I am losing weight. Which was an unexpected side effect...

We will see how long I can last before I cave and stuff my face with short back ribs, buffalo wild wings, and some good ole Texas BBQ.
