6 Part_6 His assistant

Mr. Blake asked me to bring him his coffee but what kind of coffee he preferred and most important where the fuck is the coffee machine? May be on cafeteria but where the hell is cafeteria? From lift I made my way towards the reception there was a lady in her 40s doing paperwork.

''Hello ma'am I am Mr. Blake's personal assistant. He asked me to bring his morning coffee ,do you know where is the coffee machine?''

''Hello dear, Xavier has his own coffee machine in his Personal assistance's office considering you as his PA it will be in your office.''

I rushed to lift after thanking her. It was a bit rude of me for not asking her name I hope she don't mind. Once I got on the 56th floor I saw there was a door just beside Xavier's office. The office was beautiful, it was well managed from his previous assistant. Now it was mine.....well temporarily I saw a coffee machine at the corner I made my way towards there , there was all the ingredient present. I didn't know how Xavier likes his coffee so I made it my way....decorated it with a beautiful plant leaf from chocolate syrup. It looked awesome. Completing my task I made my way towards his office. Before getting in I checked my reflection I looked...constipated....inhale....exhale...inhale.....exhale.....even the Yoga trick was not working

knocking the door twice a voice came,

''Come in''

He was typing furiously with professional typer speed,

'' I didn't how did you like it coffee and there in addition no one knew about your taste so I made it my way"

I did not want our finger brush it will make things uncomfortable for both of us. I carefully put that coffee mug on his desk and just stood there. he kept his key board killing session on. As He picked up the mug and was about to drink it I realised something

but before I could say anything he drank it with no expression at all, the coffee was...smoking.....hot, didn't his mouth got burned?

(Fredrico : Good for you at least he will not be able to talk to you for a single day.)

" Miss. Williams what are you looking at go and do your work"

'' I don't know what to do...It's just that I don't know what to do because this isn't my field"

He turned towards me as his eyes followed mine,

" as being my personal assistant first in the morning you have to come on time, I don't like tardiness otherwise from the pay check amount will be cut accordingly, you have to bring me coffee whenever I say. You will schedule my personal and professional meetings and have to check some E-mails and phones then after if you got free time you can do your fashion design work here.''

'' What I have to do now ?''

'' I have a meeting with Mr. Smith at 8: 30a.m I need your assistance there to take a notes of important topics until than you can check all the files or put them on order according to you It's messy there and yes you can change the office according to your own liking, do you we any questions now?''

'' umm...no sir, Do you want anything before I go?''

''yes. bring me a cup of coffee"

After giving him a cup of coffee. When I went in the room where all the files were kept I realised that I was going to get drained because there wasn't a whole room around 30 feet long square room with a 15 ft long cabinet.

'' Feels like I have made a deal with a devil....more like devil made me do the deal with him''

'' Let's begin shall we?''

I began to collect files according to alphabetical order from every shelf, who would be this careless about their files? And how the hell did they managed to find a required documents from here some of them were really high in the shelf.

'' Really does Xavier thinks that low of me? I mean look at them any person can do this shit even his servants can do this not that I am disrespecting them for that but I have far more important thing to do"

Fredrico : He trusts you after his files what else go you need?

" I mean ya.....he might be....these are very important files that kind of makes me feel go I am not that trashy for him after all ''

that's when I heard noise of door being opened,

A handsome man around in hid 20s came in, he looked friendly, when he saw me he was surprised

'' Hello, I am Pearl Mr.Blake's temporary assistant?'' I said offering my hand for handshake

he looked at my hand like I had some deadly virus on my hand, as I was about to pull my hand back feeling embarrassed he shook it smiling sheepishly , '' I am sorry I haven't seen a beautiful lady like you in this room before it just took me some time to calculate " Was he flirting?

'' You haven't seen a girl beautiful like me or you haven't seen a girl here before?'' I said teasingly,

'' It's just that...both.....ha.....ha....ha...What are you doing here by the way"

'' Nothing just arranging files according to alphabetical order so it will be easy to get required thing fast and accurately''

''Why are you doing it ? I mean you are ''the PA'' ''said signing Quotation mark by his fingers,

'' I think he trusts me by his company files'' I said happily.

He was tall like 6'2''feet tall an idea popped in my mind

''I need your favour if you don't mind. I want that files with alphabet A , I can't reach up to that even with the chair'' I gave him task before he could say anything, '' Please?''

That was a British weakness once you ask them a thing with 'please' they will do it, it doesn't matter what or which thing is it..

He got up on revolving chair. Even if he was that tall he couldn't reach up to that file but he was not from quitters he jumped and took the file from the shelf which made the chair to turn and he lost his balance that way that he fell when I saw up I prevented him from falling but when I saw further up , It wasn't just me but he had gripped that shelf to not to fall on me. I was about to help him when the door burst open and I turned towards that door that made me pull him Into me and we fell together, he was on top of me.

'' What is happening here ?'' I know that voice the same voice that put me in an embarrassing situation

like this.

His eyes were on legs where my skirt pulled up to my upper thigh. The guy stood up by lightning striking speed. I was struggling to get up in my heels when Mr. Blake pulled me up harshly from my upper arm his grip was really hard that made me flinch. Not just his grip but also from the impact my back and feet were hurting. I adjusted my high ponytail and clothes.

He let go of me after pulling me up and turned to the guy,'' Who are you and why are you here?''

''I am Tom from the marketing department. I was here to just take a file'' Tom said in very low frightened voice and ran away

'' Ms. Williams it is highly unprofessional of you to seduce my employee" He said looking at my chest wait!....Was I the one who was looking at my boss' boobs?

'' Excuse me he was the one who fell on me , I mean....not that way....it was just an accident he was helping me with my work. These shelves are really long I couldn't reach there that's why he was helping and he fell because it was a revolving chair and it turned"

" The condition in which I found you two was neither convincing nor your statements''

'' You saw us fall down I know you were there when we fell down''

'' How smart of you to climb on a fu...revolving chair and...'' he seemed to control his anger by closing his eyes after sometime when he opened them his eyes had a so much anger in it.

'' Why are you here?'' my mouth asked without assuming the consequences

'' It's already 8:45 and you were not in my meeting, I had told you I had a meeting with Mr, Smith and it's your duty to inform me about the meeting even before 10 minutes so that I can get ready for the meeting but here I am informing my assistant that ma'am I need your assistance in my meeting would you like to assist me?'' he said pressing each word that much that If he were a mother giving birth she would have her baby 10 minutes before already.

I mentally laughed my comment.

(Fredrico: Girl, you have learnt so much from me....(wiping his non existent tears) My baby girl... I am so proud of you.

'' I am sorry, I forgot the track of time"

He started walking making me follow him like a lost puppy,

'' You better be, I will not tolerate this next time''

He was walking so fast with a long strides made him look like a king whereas I looked like 'dameto co citaa' alien but seriously my feet were hurting so much It felt like the wound opened when I fell not having enough time to inspect it I just followed him winching in pain,

When we reached to the meeting room everybody were ready for the meeting. Mr. Black sat on the main chair just before the projector screen there was an empty chair just beside Mr. Black I mean Mr. Ian Blake who was sitting on exact opposite direction from my boss. I went for that seat I can feel everyone 's eyes on my move,

'' What happened?'' When I saw up Mr. Ian was looking at my eyes, then his eye fell on my ankle.

As I followed his eyes I saw my wound open and my nude heels had a blood on it. That's why it hurt so much.

'' Xavier she was hurt and you were making her walk in her heels? She needs a proper care'' Mr. Ian said,

'' I am fine, Mr. Blake''

'' No get up, you need to clean that wound otherwise it will catch some infection. Nowadays an open wound like this is very risky''

'' I am fine Sir, besides I need to take some notes from the meeting''

before Mr. Ian could say anything Mr. Xavier spoke in his demanding voice

'' Ian she said SHE...IS...FINE... and we have waited these gentleman long enough ''He said angrily at the same time professionally

'' No Xavier I can't let my employee treated that way'' He didn't waited for Xavier's reply. He made me stand up by putting his hand gently on my upper back just to guide me out of the door.

He guided me to his office on 55th floor then he made me sit on the sofa. After cleaning my wound he applied a spiderman band aid on it.

'' It's cute ''he smiled at my comment

''I was actually about to give you a barbie doll band aid but looks like I ran out of it a long time ago'' he said smiling sheepishly

'' I like it more, I am a fan of Marvel movies''

'' Really we can watch it together'' he sounded surprized "I am sorry on behalf of my brother ''

''It's nothing really you shouldn't have dragged me out of there Mr. Blake was really angry.''

'' he was just being himself don't worry about him''

''Thank you Mr. Blake now I should be going''

'' Call me Ian'' he almost said it as a command

'' okay.....Mr. Bl..... I mean Ian''

''Now I should be going.....Bye...''

After completing my work until E's (files) it was already 12:00p.m. I went in Mr. Blake's office to ask him if he needed anything before I go

'' Sir, Do you need anything before I go?'' He kept typing furiously

''Sir?''

'' I heard you Miss. Williams....just.....'' he kept typing

After finishing his torture on key board '' No, I don't need anything, looks like you've been treated well by my brother'' he said gazing at my spiderman band aid.

'' Yes, he is a good man'' his expressions changed from my comment but not for that long that I might have understand the expressions behind that stormy blue eyes.

'' Tomorrow be ready on time before that bring me a coffee''

Thant man is addicted to coffee.
