3 Settling in with The Monkeys

' What in the world!? How can a human child live among these beasts! This is bullshit ' thought the man observing a human kid playing with some small monkeys.

He was having a hard time believing what he was seeing. Ofcourse there are some spirit beasts raised as pets by humans but a human raised by spirit beasts is unbelievable. He was right about that as most if not all of the spirit beasts are hostile towards humans.

He continued to monitor the kid for a week and got to know more insights about this place. The human kid was adopted by a golden-red female monkey. She is so strong that even the monkey king of the tribe fears her.

' Even though she is strong I can beat her if I use all my trump card ' He continued to monitor them with his spirit abilities that make his smell and presence disappear.

After investigating a lot about the kid, he understood that the kid is stronger, faster, and intelligent than an average human. The potential of the kid is unparalleled. He decided to make the kid his disciple or even better adopt him.

' Ok now, How should I approach this. I can't just go in and take him, the monkeys will hunt me. Even though I'm strong I can't stand against such a horde. I don't want to kidnap him that's against my beliefs. Ah! what should I do then! ' Thought the man scratching his head.

As he was brainstorming he saw a small monkey got struck by a stray stone and his head burst open. The monkey passed out from the pain, other monkeys and the human kid tried to stop the bleeding.

' That wound looks serious he'll die if not treated correctly. It's my chance! if I helped the small monkey maybe they'll be less hostile with me ' The man moved toward the monkey crowd.

As he was approaching them, Some monkey started shouting at him. He raised his hand to show that he was not hostile and continued to approach them slowly. As he was getting near some monkey became restless and we're about to attack but the human kid stopped them.

The kid looked at the man that looks so much like him. The man bent near the injured monkey and took out a tiny purple ball from his bag. He fed the tiny purple ball to the small monkey. The kid was curious about what the man fed to the monkey but didn't interrupt him.

All the monkeys became silent to see what would happen. Many were ready to strike the human if he did something wrong. They saw the small monkey stopped bleeding and slowly opened his eyes. He stood up rubbed his head.

The human kid sighed in relief and stared at the human male. He took out fruit from his makeshift leaves pouch and gave it to the man. The man took it and gave it a bite. the kid smiled seeing that.

The nearby monkeys also calmed down a little but we're still vigilant. The man played with small monkeys and gave them some pills that improved their strength a little. The small monkeys liked it and played with the man by climbing his shoulders and head.

After some time of playing, The man sensed a strong presence nearing them. He looked around to see the monkey king and the female tyrant approaching him. He stood up and faced them, the atmosphere intensified. They looked at each other for some time and the female tyrant motioned him to come with them.

He went along with them, they climbed up the big tree and soon reached the female tyrant's nest. The King talked something with the female and went on his way. The female monkey looked at the man and went near a pile of leaves and slept. Leaving the human man and a kid alone.

They stared at each other and the kid went near a small pile of leaves and slept. The man was speechless seeing this. ' You brought me up here and went to sleep! ' He looked at the dark sky and sighed. He took out a blanket and pillow from his storage ring and slept near the opening from where he could escape if needed.

Soon the night passed and the man felt something heavy on his chests and limbs. he opened his eyes to see the small monkeys sitting on him. Some were pulling his clothes and one monkey was combing through his to find something. he smiled wryly and slowly sat up. The small monkeys panicked and retreated.

He got up and saw the female tyrant and the human kid missing. he dropped down from the tree and went towards the pond and washed his face. He felt a tug on his clothes and turned to see the small monkey that he saved brought him some fruits. The man smiled and patted the monkey.

After eating the fruits, the man roamed about the tribe helping some monkeys and playing with small monkeys. He also gave some pills to them. Soon the day passed and the night came. He retreated to the nest and found the kid and the female tyrant returned.

The female tyrant threw some things at the man which includes some exotic plants and fruits. He was very happy seeing the things he got. They slept soon after.

The next day the man tried to teach the kid how to speak. He slowly trained the vocals of the kid by making him speak vowel sounds. The kid was intelligent and got every sound right on the second try.

The days passed and the kid began to speak some basic words. During this time the man started to live freely and jumped along with the monkeys. He was very happy with his routine. There was no stress at all.

After a few months, it was about time the kid turns 6. He needed to perform the ceremony to awaken his spirit. The kid was now able to conserve easily but still need the experience to refine his speech.

The day came and the human was ready to perform the ceremony. Many monkeys including the female tyrant and the king were present at the site. The man took out a transparent ball.

" Now come here and pour some spirit energy into this ball," The kid was nervous for some reason and breathed heavily to calm down a little.

" Yes, master! " The kid approached the ball and put his hand on top of it. He poured his spirit energy and the ball shined blinding everyone.
