14 One Day/One Year

The siblings and a little cute silkie went inside a room.

"This practice room will be for Miss Lilia. There is a memory crystal recorded with various alchemical knowledge. The masters commanded me to teach their young daughter alchemy." The silkie pointed at a huge crystal located at the right of the room. "You should not worry. I arranged that you will learn the basics first. Aside from alchemy you will also learn some defensive skills and some general knowledge that can be found in the dimension that I came from."

Cya then pointed at another crystal which was located at the left.

"That crystal is a storage crystal. You can get the materials you need whenever you practice your alchemy. Just use whatever you need. There is plenty of them. Old master stocked a lot of materials during his travels. I also forgot to mention that this place has a garden to replenish our stock in case we run out of it."

They gang went out of the room and proceeded to the next.

"This room is your practice room young master. I think you already know what those crystals are for."

Dark nodded. Cya then flew near a door.

"This door leads to a dimension room where you can practice your battle skills. There is also a simulation system installed for you to practice different situations."

Dark was about to open the door when Cya stopped him.

"Don't go inside yet. We still need to go to your bedrooms."

After listening to the silkie the siblings went outside Dark's practice room and went to their respective bedrooms. Cya told them to rest since their training will start the moment they revitalize their energy.

"Quickly! Sound the Class S Alarm!" The head operator commanded his subordinates.

Winged humanoids wearing knight armor are flying around the world. Together with them are different kinds of monsters destroying everything that stands in their way.

The skyscrapers fall.

The houses turn into fire.

The soldiers firing their guns.

Exceeds defending the cities.

The police evacuating the civilians.

The government trying to control the situation.

But even though they were spreading havoc, not a single human was neither critically injured nor dead.

All of this stopped as the twenty-fourth hour ticked. A huge loud noise of a bell ringing sounded in the ears of every creature in Earth. The 'invaders' suddenly ceased their movement and went back. The authorities immediately started to salvage the situation. They sent their scouting teams to follow the invaders.

The leaders of the 5 major powers immediately held an emergency meeting via internet.

Just outside one of the towers, was a mysterious person covered in black cloak.

"This dimension is just below average." He said a few words and vanished into thin air.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

An old man was walking back and forth while waiting for someone to answer his call.

"Can you contact them?" A worried old woman asked.

"They didn't answer the call." He replied and tried to call them again.

The old Scarlet couple were safe inside their mansion. They were able to hold their defense thanks to the exceeds that they hired. Also because of their abilities as high ranked exceeds.

One year has passed inside the artifact.

In a starry night inside a forest, a silver wolf roared as it attacked a young man wielding two blades. But when the wolf slashes its claws the man vanished. He appeared behind the wolf. He raised his right blade and ignites it with red flames. Then a second later the wolf was split into to. The moment the flames of the blade were gone the wolf was burnt into ashes.

SIMULATION COMPLETE!

The forest slowly changed into a huge empty room. The man kept his blades inside the sheaths.

"That marks the end of your basic training."

A small silkie appeared before the young man.

"Time flies so fast." The young man, Dark clenched his fist wearing a very determined face. "Time to go out of this place. Is Lilia done with her training?"

"She is not done yet. I think that a year is not enough for her." Cya told him the truth. She flew and sat on Dark's shoulder. "Let's go to her training room."

A girl was wearing protective glasses as she carefully mixed some liquids. She took the flask using a holder and heated it. Sweat dropped down her sweat as she continued the process for five minutes. Then she placed the flask on flask stand.

"Phew"

She placed the holder down and wiped the sweat on her forehead with her hand.

"Are you done Lilia?"

Dark was observing his sister as she processed the liquid. She was too focused that she did not notice Dark and Cya go inside.

"Yes. But I was only able to finish an advance level potion."

Dark saw his sister with a disappointed face. He patted her head.

"It's fine just take your time to learn."

He smiled and comforted her.

"Cya, can I leave her here to train? I'll go out first. She is safe inside this artifact anyway." He turned to the silkie and asked.

"Of course! Leave her to me." The silkie patted her chest with confidence. "Wait, you guys can just come back again. It is not good to train straightly. We can just go outside. And you can just go back here when you want to." She suggested after realizing her mistake.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that." Dark turned his head to his sister, "Let's go?"

Lilia nodded, "It is finally time to go outside."

"Remember not to reveal information regarding this place. It might get a weird feeling when you go outside since you are used being inside here." Cya reminded them. "By the time we go outside, the calamity would be done. The first thing you should do is to go inside the nearest tower take the trial so that you can proceed to conquer the floors. Do you understand?"

"Yes, we know already." Lilia pouted to Cya's long reminders.

The door opened and only three silhouettes can be seen walking towards it.
