Lu Chen looked at the notification with a smile. He had won the fight in just 10 minutes.
His tactic was simple. He first positioned all the shadows to face forward, except for the main monster which was facing backwards.
Then he positioned himself at the right distance where his shadows could make contact with the enemy shadows.
Without hesitation, he swung his shadow, hitting the first enemy shadow, and immediately moved back to avoid the enemy's attack. Then he rushed forward again, with his shadows attacking simultaneously.
As soon as the attack landed, he jumped back, minimizing the damage received while dealing with the enemies effectively.
Looking deeper into the eerily dark and quiet hallway, he continued moving forward.
He entered the next room he came across and smiled as he saw the shadows materialize.
Two hours later...
Lu Chen had defeated 38 rooms. Just as the last shadow dissolved, a notification appeared before him.

"Alright, let's go!" He pumped his fist, feeling more eager to conquer the dungeon. The feeling of leveling up was addictive.
After another 3 hours, he completed the first floor, defeating a total of 50 rooms and 200 shadows in the hallway.
He leveled up once again.

After examining the hologram, he felt satisfied. He once again walked down the hallway, checking each room to ensure there were no rooms left unconquered.
Once he was certain, he glanced at the stairs.

A normal worker like himself never thought he would have the chance to obtain a skill. It felt like a dream come true.
"I can't wait to defeat the boss!" His confidence soared.

He couldn't wait to level up again.
He didn't allocate any points to strength because he was the type of guy who didn't like danger. He wanted to ensure he had enough stamina and speed to escape danger, as well as a good amount of mana to cast magic. Strength would come later, as it wasn't currently important since he wouldn't be the main force in battles. He would be a commander, leading from behind.
He waited for at least an hour or two, sitting on the ground and dozing off.
Finally, after that time, all his shadows—around 500 of them—appeared in a line in the corridor.
"Let's go!"
As he moved forward, another notification appeared.

"So, the entire 50-floor apartment is squeezed into 2 floors..."
He climbed the stairs. After 100 steps, he reached the second floor.
There were no turns, no left or right. There was only one way to move forward from the stairs.
The corridor was narrow, only allowing two people to walk side by side.
At the end of the hallway, there was a metal door. As he reached it and touched the door, it opened.
Inside was a huge space, around 2 kilometers long and wide. In the center of the room stood a massive shadow monster.
It looked similar to a normal shadow monster, but its size was three times bigger and it held a large shadow blade.
"...It looks extremely tough... Can I go back?" He stepped back and gulped as he saw the shadow monster.
Not only was it bigger than a normal shadow monster, but its color was twice as dark.
"Well... I was thinking if this would work or not... And I don't think my shadows will pass through the door... So let's see." He moved to the corner of the room.
Fortunately, the shadow monster was slower than a normal shadow monster, so it would take an extremely long time for it to reach him.
"So... how do I activate skills?" He opened his menu and clicked on the skill.
As he did, a huge magic circle instantly appeared on the ground. His shadows surrounded him.
"Hell yeah! Go and attack! Climb its body and attack from all directions!" He shouted at the top of his lungs.
The shadow monsters, moving at their sluggish pace, swarmed towards the massive shadow monster.
Of course, both sides moved so slowly that it might take around 10 minutes just for them to meet each other.
He grabbed a shadow monster and... "Go!" He threw them at the big shadow monster.
Due to his increased speed, his hands moved incredibly fast. In just ten seconds, he threw 15 shadow monsters at the boss monster.
They all landed on the boss monster's head and chest, grabbing onto its body. With one hand securing the monster, they used the other hand to attack.
The boss monster stood its ground and swiped its hand at its chest, causing all the shadow monsters to dissolve.
However, those that landed on the monster's head moved to its back, out of reach of its hands.
After two minutes, the boss shadow monster attempted to shake off the shadow monsters, but it proved difficult.
Lu Chen's shadow monsters finished their movements and were either advancing towards the boss shadow monster or already on its body.
"Now, it's time for the skill!" He prepared to scream, "Astral Blade!"
He felt the energy depleting from his body as five golden swords materialized behind him. They floated above his head, emitting a radiant golden light.
"Go!" He stretched out his hand, and all the swords zoomed towards the boss monster's face.
Stab!
They all stabbed the face, and right after the stabs, the monster disappeared.
"Go!" He continued to cast Astral Blade, but this time, he didn't shout the name of the skill. Instead, he chanted it silently in his heart. And it worked!
The boss monster was swatting its hand on its body, trying to remove the monsters, but it only managed to get rid of the ones in front. It couldn't touch the ones on its back. Not to mention, the golden swords continued to stab its face, dealing even more damage.
Suddenly, it opened its mouth and let out a soundless scream. Fiery air blew fiercely, destroying all the advancing shadow monsters.
It stomped its feet, and its body dissolved into the ground like liquid.
Afterward, it reappeared 10 meters away from the monsters, opening its mouth for another scream.
The remaining monsters also dissolved, leaving only Lu Chen.
"This..." Maybe he was far enough, as he didn't feel the effects of the harsh air.
He continued to throw Astral Blade.
The boss shadow monster threw its blade at Lu Chen. The blade moved incredibly fast, and in just a blink of an eye, it was only two seconds away from Lu Chen.
"Shut!" He rushed to the side, his legs moving so fast that he couldn't control the speed.
Just as he moved, the blade passed by his hair, giving him quite a scare.
He fell to the ground and slipped, his heart pounding and cold sweat dripping from his face.
"Phew. I almost died." He commented as he composed himself and continued to spam Astral Blade.
After the 30th cast, the monster finally dissolved into the ground.
