Flood Dragon Zylrast (1)

The Next day Adrian woke up and checked his dungeon stats first thing in the morning to see how he was doing.

Dungeon: The Verdant Depths

His DP was back up to over 10000 thanks to the flood dragon, so he started to browse through the DP shop to outfit his Inn for his guests.

As he was looking through the shop though he was interrupted by one of the goblins who came to let him know that the flood dragon had just started hunting.

Adrian quickly arrived at the lake and purchased another Relay Scroll with the same message as before and had another fish send it over.

The fish swam with the scroll in its mouth as Adrian guided it over using the map.

The flood dragon that had just finished eating was laying on the bed of the lake as it was about to fall back asleep. The scroll popped into its vision as the words began to appear in front of its face.

"Greeting Zylrast, I am curious as to what your intentions are for coming to my territory?"

"A scroll? Who is speaking to me?" Zylrast said, looking at the fish.

The fish quickly swam away with the scroll in tow as Adrian picked it up and wrote another message on it.

The flood dragon which was again going to sleep ignoring the scroll it had seen earlier.

"I am the owner of this Territory you have intruded upon! State your reasoning for being here or face the consequences!" Adrian started to take a more firm approach as he couldn't let this flood dragon just sit here forever.

"Heh, consequences? You can't even face me yet you speak of consequences. A mighty flood dragon like myself bends to no one. If you have the balls then make me face these consequences you speak of" the flood dragon snorted eating both the fish and the scroll once more.

Adrian was mad that his scroll got eaten yet again, and he purchased another one and sent it down with a new fish.

"Very well, Zylrast. Enjoy your slumber then" the scroll said upon which it was eaten once more.

The flood dragon went to sleep again and Adrian searched inside of the DP shop for something he could use against this flood dragon.

He searched for a while before he found an [Ultrasonic Elodea] which was a sort of plant that grew at the bottom of lakes and rivers, and emitted Ultrasonic sound waves when triggered.

Adrian bought it and placed it inside of the tunnel he had made previously so the flood dragon would not be able to reach it. He then used [Bestow Intellect] on it, and ordered it to continuously emit its ultrasonic waves.

Adrian knew this might infuriate the flood dragon, but he had no other choice. He did not know its reason for being here, and he did not feel safe as long as it was still inside of the lake.

He ordered all the goblins to retreat into the dungeon as he followed them, leaving the flood dragon with no place to vent its anger in case it decided to show its fangs.

Adrian watched on his CCTV as the flood dragon slept at the bottom of the lake, the ultrasonic waves continuously hitting against its ears. The flood dragon stirred as it turned its head away trying to block the noise.

The soundwaves however reached the entirety of the lake so there was nowhere it could hide, the flood dragon even attempted to drill its head into the dirt at the bottom of the lake in order to stop the noise but it was all for naught.

Although these sound waves also affected the fish in the lake, and Adrian felt slightly bad about it, for the greater good of his dungeon he decided to continue with his plan.

The flood dragon quickly swam towards the surface of the lake and hissed as its head broke the surface of the water. Trashing its body it looked back and forth for whoever was disturbing its sleep finding no one.

It saw a building though, which was not far from the lake which it promptly slithered over to before trashing venting its anger. This was something Adrian had overlooked, not thinking the flood dragon would destroy his inn that he had just built.

He had just lost 5000 DP because of that! This flood dragon was pissing him off! He purchased a handful of Boom Shroom's bestowed them with intellect before tossing them into the lake.

He ordered them to blow up when they arrived next to the flood dragon. Adrian too had to vent his anger on this flood dragon! He can't simply let it destroy its things for no reason! Although Zylrast indeed had a reason Adrian didn't care, he wanted his DP back!

The boom shrooms were clumped in the lake wading towards the position of the flood dragon who was slithering back into the lake after it had vented its anger. The flood dragon who was passing by them quickly turned as it sensed danger.

BOOM

A large explosion was heard as water rocketed out of the lake, the flood dragon being caught right in the center of it all.

A hiss of fury was heard as the flood dragon raged "WHO DARES!", the boom shrooms had not done much damage to the flood dragon at all but they still injured it and thoroughly infuriated it!

"COME FACE ME!" Zylrast raged as water began to shoot everywhere from its gigantic body.

Adrian smiled at this, as now he was not the only one who had been slighted. Zylrast raged for a full two hours before he sunk back into the depths of the lake, the water stilling once more.
