"Use skill [Dungeon Master Path] to teleport me to the lower dragonling"

[comand confirmed, creating gate]

After a few seconds, the teleportation gate appeared in front of Smaug. On the other side was the lower dragonling its eyes were red but unlike while in battle the lower dragonling was sitting at attention much like a well-trained service dog. Next to it was the lower dragonling who was loafing about much like a house cat.

Smaug seeing the dragonling sitting there almost as if it knew it was being rewarded quickly spoke.

"It appears little fellow you have earned a name. From now on you shall be known as Innis, the vanguard of the dungeon."

With that, the lower dragonling was enveloped in light as its form changed the light grew ever so slightly eventually what emerged was the same dragonling. Nothing major had changed, except now his scales were rough and well-defined. His horns were also fully formed and could pack a serious punch if they were to somehow be used in an attack.

[Congratualations, your lower dragonling has evolved into a brand new [dragonling] they have now been unlocked in the dungeon store]

"Next for you the wyvern, I have a different name for you. From this point forward you will be known as Lyanard, the aerial menace of the first floor."

Just like before the lower wyvern was then enveloped in light. As the lower wyvern went through the evolution process a few obvious changes were made first all of the wyverns limbs grew longer. Second, the tip of the dragon's tail grew four spikes. When the light disappeared the scales and horns weren't much more defined however it was obvious small sharp, spike-like structures had formed all over the body of the wyvern

[Congratualations, your lower wyvern has evolved into a brand new [wyvern] they have now been unlocked in the dungeon store]

"Great, I'll have to look into that later for now we have to be ready for the next attack. But now that I look at you guys you seem a lot more, calm. No… more like you aren't as enraged as before. Looking at your eyes you no longer have that red glow. There is still some red light but it's just a small glimmer, definitely not enough to affect you. Eh, whatever I'll look into it later for now stand guard same orders as last time except now you two will work together got it?"

Both of the draconic monsters nodded in unison. Then Smaug teleported back into his core room so no one would come in and find him.

"But system how many more monsters will I need to place to fully surge and invade the surrounding area?"

[this number can't be properly calculated with the number of variables present. From the space within your dungeon, you have total to what type of monsters you have all change what you need to surge. Even then I wouldn't be allowed to give you an answer as this information is secret. All players have to figure out when they can send monsters out all by themselves.]

"Okay, then buy ten wyverns and ten kobolds spawn them together, and give them orders, the kobolds are to fight while riding the wyverns."

[confirming your purchase and order.]

[-1,000]

Seeing such a large number instantly put a hole deep in Smaug's heart. But it'll be worth it, the potential for this could be grand if the wyvern and kobold learn to work together. With a gloomy face, Smaug just had to accept the price for his grandiose plan while still saving lots of DP for later

"A necessary sacrifice, I guess."

A few hours later and it was noon. The secondary group was preparing to enter when Giony made an announcement.

"Inside there was a warzone, so you should only stick to the entrance of the dungeon, I am sure they will eventually come to us. The priority is being able to retreat somewhere where the enemy shouldn't be able to reach us."

"Understood guild master." The entire group responded in unison.

Marching in they got to the first point where the dungeon split off the light of the outside world still shining brightly against their backs.

After about ten minutes of waiting the first kobolds came running from the right path. Behind them were even more kobolds. They kept spilling outwards the large mob of kobolds were slowly approaching while the ranged ones fired at them from a distance.

Eventually, the Innis and Lyanard appeared and they started tearing through their defenses breaking up their formation so the high-level kobolds could maintain these holes to keep their party in a state of constant disunity.

With their formation unable to effectively work together since the front line tanks were no longer able to take the brunt of the attacks the fighting capability quickly fell. It wasn't long before the first casualties were starting to appear.

At first, the support who had managed to stay out of the fight slowly ran out of mana being overwhelmed by healing and buffing so many at once since there were multiple areas to focus on. Next, the fighters who were better at dishing out damage rather than taking it were taking too much damage. Lastly, the tanks couldn't even taunt all of the monsters. Even what they could get was too much since the healers were focused on keeping everyone alive which meant focusing on the people with the most minor health pools who were under attack.

Then when it finally happened the first to go was a human martial who used a spear, after thrusting into one kobold and swinging it off into another while he was open, an archer managed to snipe him right in the neck. He fell to the ground dead almost instantly.

Meanwhile, the raiding party had killed almost enough kobolds they decided to start slowly retreating however due to the vein-like structure of the infiltration of Innis and Lyanard the group had to fight through a constant stream of kobolds on all sides while trying to move past them.

Eventually, a second and then a third party member dropped dead. By now the party had started to exit the dungeon a good number of ranged attackers were able to help from a long and safe distance outside of the dungeon.

However, before everyone could escape a crude spear pierced through the skull of a young half-elf. Looking where it was from a now unarmed kobold was riding a wyvern. And next to it was nine more duos. These wyvern-riding kobolds were swooping over the battlefield and took out a few more adventures. Their fire breath of the wyverns dealt devastating fire damage across the battlefield. While the kobolds made basic attacks that were empowered by the speeds of their flying wyvern mounts.

Outside giony saw it all and to say he was distraught would be putting it lightly.

'Those are new, but I can't help I am still too weak to fully fight…'

"EVERYONE! GET OUT RIGHT THE FUCK NOW! DISREGARD COMING OUT UNINJURED! PUT YOUR SHIELDS ON YOUR BACK AND TRY TO COVER VITAL AREAS AND RUN! WE CAN'T BEAT THIS ARMY OF ABSOLUTE MONSTERS!"

Everyone followed orders and tried to leave. There were a few more casualties and Giony expected this, but there were far fewer than if they were to try to fight their way out fully. This dungeon was far stronger than they could ever deal with, using what theft had left. He'd have to call for higher-level adventurers, however, they were all probably used in going through high-level dungeons and clearing out a bunch of stronger enemies to make sure those dungeons can't surge, but simply calling for a few couldn't hurt.
