6 Chapter 6: ¿What is the final destination?.

Although the silence between the two seemed absolute, Darthia was trying to start a conversation here and there, but getting nowhere because rakhaly was not really interested in communicating.

Being sincere with himself he didn't even know what to do, but to follow a straight path blindly hoping to get somewhere. Darthia could not go anywhere because her soul was now forcibly tied to Rakhaly's, though she also did not look uncomfortable with the situation she was in.

Rakhaly concentrated on continuing to walk. Paying attention only to the path in front of him, nothing else existed for him at that time, he was looking for something, possibly something to believe in or try to remember who he was or what happened so that he would find himself in this situation.

"There's a staircase to go down further, shall we go down to the next floor?"

Darthia made mention of the stairs that the other human strangers spoke about so frequently, she had heard the same thing over and over again, because even though she was trapped inside the mimic, she was able to hear the voices from outside, but the mimic killed anyone who dared to come close and usually the lonely, greedy or unsuspecting adventurers were the most frequent victims.

"..."

rakhaly hardly did anything else after hearing Darthia's words, but in a way they reached him, as his route seemed to have changed and now he was heading for the stairs in front of him, the lack of torches to show them made it a little difficult to notice them. maybe that was the reason why the floors of the dungeons were complicated to navigate, the possible lack of light made it difficult to find the way forward.

When you step on the first step to the next floor. Darthia could feel the change of atmosphere something that rakhaly seemed to ignore completely, but what else could he do around rhakaly?

To the skeleton the environment did not seem to be of real importance, but possibly it would be if it at least played a role against both and yet it felt that there was really no difference between a forest and a mountain.

"We must be careful, who knows what creatures inhabit the next floor."

Darthia quietly exclaimed, avoiding the attention of the creatures on the new floor. Strangely enough, there didn't seem to be any creatures present at the time.

Floor number 6 this time was covered with plants. Giving the appearance of a huge forest, floor number 5 seemed to be more of an ancient structure with roads leading to dead ends and the forest on floor 6 seemed to be even more dangerous than floor 5.

The fallen trees, tall plants, bushes and even holes in the ground were perfect places for any creature to use the environment to its advantage and attack by surprise, Darthia was obviously worried. Rakhaly was now her physical guide to the world. If he died she would do it with him.

"Please watch your step and watch your surroundings, I can use Ether's magic, but in a very limited way so I won't be able to help you if too many creatures attack us at the same time."

Rakhaly simply ignored Darthia's words. There was no point in listening to her and no benefit in following her lead.

"What are you looking for, you ignore me completely, but to see you so... determined gives the feeling that you are looking for something, but you don't know what it is... am I wrong?"

Rakhaly stopped at that moment, turning around and staring at Darthia, something in him had made a reaction.

"Sear...Search."

"That's it. Come on, tell me what you're looking for so determinedly, there must be something, I mean look at yourself. You're walking and you're thinking about going down without knowing what's waiting for you on the next floor, it must be very important if you're continuing this path no matter how dangerous it is."

Darthia was sure that she would get answers to explain such behavior, even if it wasn't her fault, obviously she didn't want to perish because of someone who didn't care about dying.

Unfortunately, the little attention she got from her summoner lasted only a short time. Some creatures were present hanging from the trees, hairy and muscular, with a humanoid appearance, but very different from them in any way.

"..."

Rakhaly turned around and observed the creatures and he could see their ether essences in the air awakening again whatever was causing it to become violent, the strange sensation in his bones was present, refreshing that feeling he had felt when he had finished with the creatures of the floor number 5.

"Hey... we should go, they're more than us... you're not thinking about fighting."

Rakhaly's face showed that strange and twisted smile of his and he threw the shield of his hand with all the strength of his arm hitting the chest of one of the monsters knocking him down.

The force of the impact of the shield was such that the poor creature ended up with the shield in the form of a drop of water embedded in its chest, destroying its internal organs.

"...Don't...run away."

The creatures at that moment became enraged and beat their chests, holding on to the trees with their feet as one of their own fell easily. It wasn't long before they all came down immediately to begin their attack.

"What are you thinking about?!"

Darthia used her Ether's strength and attacked two of the creatures killing them easily. The number of creatures exceeded Rakhaly, but he didn't seem bothered or scared by that fact, his face showed pleasure, in Darthia's eyes, he seemed to enjoy tearing the creatures alive.

The sword in Rakhaly's hand slowly danced on the flesh of the creatures, the blood bolted in the air, the heads fell to the ground and other parts of the bodies were thrown in any direction that these streets.

Darthia was no longer watching a struggle for survival, but a madman quenching his thirst for blood, mutilation and murder.

Rakhaly received a few blows, but nothing serious except for a blow to his skull which fractured him. The rest of the creatures became simply flesh puzzles.

"...I don't understand what you're looking for, but I don't doubt you'll die at some point if you keep this up..."

Ignoring the spirit's words again. Rakhaly searched and found his shield returning it to his hand where it seemed to belong and began to walk again with no direction to follow, looking for whatever he had planned to find.
