5 The Trial

A blinding beam of light to the sky appears and Gryffindor comes out of it. This gigantic lion beast with shining golden armor and a stone warhammer in his mouth with an intricate pattern on it. This pattern resembles two infinity signs crossed together. One of the sign was horizontal and the other was vertical

-There is no way Ruby, that you and I can fight this thing. Even if you are fated by a god you're still human. Please Ruby before you get both of us killed just tell them we aren't fit to be king yet and that it's too early.

-Henry,do you know how long I've wanted to get isekaid and it finally happened and on top of that I'm supposed to be king. There is no way I'm stopping this. It's either you join me and we win together or I win and immediately throw you in jail for opposing me.

-I'm gonna join you but just think about what you're saying right now. Power is going to your head Ruby.

The announcer counts down from 3 2 1 BEGIN.

Instantly without even a second thought Gryffindor lunges at Ruby to give him an instant kill bludgeoning attack at his head. Luckily for the young king,playing a lot of video games gave him a high enough reaction time to block it with his black sword."Your name is now Void" Ruby said cheerfully.As Ruby is blocking this attack Henry comes in with a whip attack straight to the enemy's eye and the weapon Instantly breaks. Ruby without missing a beat throws his second sword to Henry "Take Shard and don't break it or stab yourself".The moment that Henry grabbed the sword it started morphing into this new blade. The color becomes green, in the center there seems to be some kind of bio luminescent liquid. This liquid is also covering the sword. "Just come and stab the big cat already. I can't hold his weight and strength for long." as he says that Gryffindor overpowers the young lad and scratches his torso with a powerful swipe of his paw. Ruby falls to the ground screaming in pain. Henry finally decides to get off his a$$ and charges towards the beast, stabbing it right in its stomach piercing right through the armor. Yet the lion doesn't seem to have been phased at all. It starts getting up on its hind legs,becoming a bipedal Beastman. Gryffindor begins to speak in this weird language. He starts clearing his throat and says" My apologies, I had forgotten that you are unable to comprehend my race's language.How unfortunate, now since you two homosapiens have the bravery to compete against me in this splendid arena I shall give you the honor of calling me,Gryffith!"

Ruby finally get back up from the pain says

"Ok Gryffith, call me Ruby or Ryubi and call the other one HenHen, he'll love it. Also let's make a deal. Once me and HenHen beat tge living hell out of you, you will have to join our crew no matter what. But, if we lose this,we shall do whatever you want. Is that alright with you HenHen?

-Yeah sure whatever just stop calling me HenHen. Are we gonna keep on fighting or Chit-chatting?

Ruby nods at Henry, rushing down Gryffith with Void in hand aiming for the eye. He jumps to the sky only to arrive at his opponent's face and slices of the feline's ear. In retaliation Gryffindor bashes Ruby in the side with his hammer definitely crushing a few bones. Henry meanwhile is sneaking up trying to get a stealth attack. Yet the beastman hears and smells him and stomps the ground making a crater in the floor and letting debris and rocks flying everywhere. Both contestants are lying on the floor. Ruby on the floor screams in agony F********************************K,Henry, give me back my sword! It was originally mine so maybe there is a reason why they came together."

Henry obliges and throws his friends the weapon and instantly once he grabs it, Void begins to absorb a piece of ruby from Shard and gains a red glow. The red tint starts spreading from the blade to Ruby and eventually Henry. Once the color reaches them both all injuries get healed. Shard loses one out of 5 shard pieces. Ruby gets up and explains to Henry "Hey whenever both of us get hurt give me Shard. Actually the new name will be ShapeShifter" Ruby lends the sword back to Henry.

The two friends start double teaming Gryffindor without any regard for their bodies anymore. The opponent used the warhammer to completely crush Henry's arm,but there was no reaction at all. He bites down on Ruby with no reaction, he had no idea what to do since they don't seem to be feeling any pain. If Gryffindor even gets close enough to any of his enemies they're probably gonna be able to strike back. ShapeShifter is re-given to Ruby and the boys get healed again. This routine of slashes continues for another 5 minutes. The two friends managed to get multiple hits on Gryffith to the point where he is bleeding liters of blood.

-Ruby, I don't think I can keep on going. I'm too tired.

-Henry, Let's at least finish this, pass me ShapeShifter for one last heal.

Gryffindor, being utterly done with this healing shenanigans, runs right at Henry, shattering the sword with a powerful warhammer ground pound. Once he does, Ruby and HenHen begin to get worried. Their opponent seems to still be able to fight but the 2 boys are completely at their limit. They become utterly and completely hopeless. Gryffindor walks slowly to Ruby and says "Thy was a pretty worthy opponent but thou shall never be on my level." He begins to raise his weapon and slams it straight on Ruby's chest. Though immediately afterwards the white lion kneels to the ground writhing in pain. All the veins in his body start to glow a bright green color. Henry remarks'' This must be the effect of ShapeShifter while in my possession. It's the only thing that it could be. The bio luminescent liquid must have been a poison. Ruby it's all on you. I can't move anymore and you're closest.Finish the job."

Ruby, unable to get up,begins crawling towards the screaming beast. Once he reaches him Ruby says softly"Just say you give up and we'll both be able to leave." Before even being able to answer Gryffindor falls to the ground passing out.

The announcer announces " The kings have won. Let's have a round of applause." The crowd cheers and while basking in the glory Ruby and Henry both pass out from exhaustion
