2 Episode 1: Kim Joon Woo

Cold...coldness is the only thing that he feels. The cold water spreads on his thin nightdress but there is nothing he can do to warm himself up. His hands and feet flailing in the water as he tries to catch at least a bit of air. It seems like he has no hope so he gives up and closes his eye. 'Maybe, my time has come.

The boy smiles in delight. Finally, he can escape the hell hole! The line of rationalism snaps as he dies alone accepting his fate. The cold river buries his delicate body to the depth of darkness.

"Kim Joon Woo" a voice echoed in his ears. Kim Joon Woo forces himself to open his eyelids. The first thought that comes into his mind is 'where am I?'. He swings his arms in the white clouds that he is currently lying on.

He expected earlier that he is going to die. It seems that his dream comes true. The smile on his face doesn't drop during the whole short moment he lies on his back. After a while of admiring the feeling after death, he supports his body with the thin-boned arms and stands on the fluffy clouds.

The boy is wrapped in a white sheet that reaches his knee. His long hair is now tied into a ponytail making him look fresh and ripe as a blooming apple. His red and blue eyes glance around the sky-like place. "Am I in heaven?" a calming and reassuring voice answer the question startling the boy.

"Hello...nice to meet you Kim Joon Woo" An angel greets him with an honest smile reflecting the sun at her back. The boy just nodded and return the handshake willfully. He is in a trance of how beautiful the angel is! A beauty that can't be compared to any person he meets before.

"Actually, God wants to meet you..." Kim Joon Woo opens his eyes in surprise. What is it that the god wants from him? He didn't do anything wrong in his life before right? Shaking in fear, he just nodded to the angel as she leads him to the castle.

The castle is as big as a country. The path to the entrance fills with roses creating an illusion of a dream castle where everyone wants to reside. The wall of the castle is made of gold and diamonds that shine once it touches the sun.

There are no guards or keepers in the castle as the god doesn't need protection. He despises anyone who tries to protect him like he is unavailable in protecting himself. It is indeed true! Why would God need protection! They are the most powerful in the whole semester!

Kim Joon Woo studies around the castle curiously with his big sparkly eyes. 'Wow!' 'Amazing!' 'Fantastic!' these are the only words he could say to describe what he experiences.

"Are you Kim Joon Woo?" The booming voice snaps him out. His eyes searching for the electrical voice and landed on the golden robed god. He is too shock and automatically kneel in front of him. His face touches the ground silently without a noise.

"My child, there is no need to kneel... it's not time for you to come here yet" Kim Joon Woo looks up at the god with a sitting posture. His face shows how clueless he is with what God says to him. 'My time hasn't come?'

The god stares at the boy for a moment before pulling him closer. Kim Joon Woo flies across the room to the front of the god. The touch on his head feels very warm even though the god had already stopped his action. 'Are you pitying me?'

"Yes... You should have received much more than that because you are a blessed child. But your selfish parents abandon you... so am I" At first the god gave everything to his parents. Money, power, bless, and love. Everything he gave to the two in return he wants them to be happy and live a long life. But in the end, they break off their marriage because of jealousy and greed. They are too blinded with power fighting whoever will get to the highest and the strongest in history.

Kim Joon woo is just a 5-month baby at that time when his parent's divorce. They both separate different paths and agreed to send him to the orphan. That way, they can start a new refreshing life without something blocking their way. The god was so mad that he ignores all that happened including the child. After years, he finally notices the child of the humans he once blessed so much like his own child! The boy is playing by the lake and falls into it.

That time, the god decides to take him and give him a new life! After explaining everything he looks at the child anticipating an answer.

"But... I don't ... want to" Kim Joon Woo rubs the back of his neck. He already feels like he belongs to this heaven-like place. Why would he want to go back to the torturest place?

The good looks at him with pity. He raises his hand and summons an artefact that has been kept here for years. They are the symbols of his parents... In other words, their powers. Yes, the god had taken all of the powers he once gave to the two. Even so... they still continue their lives as usual. Even without powers, they are already the richest in the country at that time.

The symbol flies in the are creating two phoenixes, one sea blue, and one fiery red. The two are in contrast to each other. The blue one is once his mother's which is the ice phoenix. The reed on is his father's which is the fire phoenix.

Kim Joon Woo is confused as to what is the symbol in front of him.

The god puts him on the ground and waits for something to happen. The symbol actually is not within his control. They will choose their master themself. Whoever cannot withstand the effect will die in two ways. Freeze to death or burn to ashes. If a person can withstand the two horrible powers then he will become the most powerful person in the whole galaxy.

Until now... no one can withstand the coldness and the burning session when bonding with the power. Everyone is scared of the presence of the powers. It can bring you to the coldest planet leaving you in eternal hibernation and locks you on the brink of madness in the sea of fires! No one can understand the power and no one can tame it. The god can only tame the power but to understand it? Never! Until two humans appear that can take the rules to control the power. But in the end, they were blinded by greed and lost the authorities...

Kim Joon Woo looks at the symbol trying to grab it with his pale hand. The god sigh in his heart 'there is no way this boy can control such power'. He wants to keep the symbols back to their place but quickly cancel his thought.

He looks at the boy with surprise in his eyes. Unbelievable! He actually absorbs two both of them! He didn't expect that...he thought that he would be grateful even if the boy got one of it. It seems that his calculation was wrong.

Kim Joon Woo in a trance of the disappearance of the symbol. He just wants to catch it but he 'accidentally' lost it in the air. He turns to look at the god almost crying his eyes out. But the god just smiles at him and strode to hug him. "You are the one!"

Kim Joon Woo almost faints on the spot. He is about to return the hug but something in his body stirs violently. He screams in pain but the god just lets him go watching the boy struggling on the floor. The god mouthed something but the boy is too hurt to care.

Kim Joon Woo closes his eyes in pain and enters into a deep slumber... His soul flew from the palace returning to where it was before...
